Looking For Crew To Help With Missions
There are a couple of ideas that have been discussed for ways to enhance the missions that we periodically run in the Main Chat. However, we would require a small crew of people to help run these various OOC elements.
Please take a look at the following potential roles. If anyone is interested in participating in one of these capacities, you can leave a comment on this thread letting us know your ideas. You can also message me directly if you prefer.
Mission DJ: We would need someone to meet with the main DM about an hour or two before a mission, to get a run down of what will take place. The DJ will then have to compile a playlist of songs that will suit the mood of the various elements of the mission. At first we will do this with YouTube links posted in the chat, but eventually move up to setting up a radio station that people can listen to.
If you are interested in this role please reply with some basic information about what kind of music you favor.
Live Tweeter: Twitter is an interesting medium, because you can only compose messages that are 140 characters or less in length. We believe that if a mission were live tweeted, with short update messages describing the action every once in a while, that it would create a step by step time stream of the entire Event that would be quite interesting. This is something that could theoretically be done by a player while engaged in the mission.
Transcriber: One of the good things about the new chat is that you can c&p from it. The bad thing is that the DM's are usually too busy to do it before the scroll up erases it. We need people who will copy and paste the text of missions, either into word files, or directly into blogs.
If anyone has any other ideas for ways we could improve the missions please let me know that as well.

I could easily pull the transcriber for when I'm here. And I may be able to help with some of the DJ stuff. Problem is I have to have warning before missions of course seeing as I don't have internet at my house itself. I have to go to a grandparent's house or ask my neighbour for his wifi passkey and to lower his blocker. xD
Also; the music I listen to ranges anywhere from old school to modern rock. Country (sorry xD), and even some metal, jazz, instrumental, and foreign music.

I can be a Transcriber, being I don't do the missions too often myself, though If I do take part I can share the task. ^_^ I wouldn't mind formatting it (Not the text, just picture placement, I noticed some of those previously done tend to mess up a bit, at least for me.) and sending it to Narry.
Also, my folks are into a game called Secondlife... They use a DJ program that could be intigrated with Rolepages with some tweaking. With help from an Admin, I could embed one right into the site. If I DJ I'm good with Instramental music, (Mainly without words, but strong emotional vibes) with variations like Appocalyptica (Metal-ish some with lyrics) Two Steps From Hell (Cinema) as well as quite a few rock/metal bands. I also do Techno/Trance, Eurodance, electrodance, electrokrank, and a few more questionably placed bands, such as Massive Attack for prime example.
As for DMing, I have a suggestion. You could have two, one for interactions, one for surroundings, which would split the job down, making it a bit easier (Seeing as you are recruiting.)

I'm not around enough consistently(RL commitments) to be much of a designated job for mission help, the nights that I am lurking around though please don't hesitate to ask for help of any sort Narra. *Also pouts and sulks at Larks comment - poke at it until she comes to life - will be poking a longggg time.*
