Where Anyone is Possible
DM stands for Directional Moderator, and it describes someone who hosts and runs events for other players to participate in. These events can include things as diverse as battles, weddings, tournaments, sieges, and torture sessions. It is the job of the DMs to describe the scene as Events take place, and provide any NPC characters that the players will meet along the way. It is very similar to the role of a Game Master in a table top adventure.
Narrator: The director of all DM’s is narrator, and he is responsible for the ultimate path of the Main Story Arc on RolePages.com
A DM is denoted by the addition of the letters DM to your screen name, although this is not always used, and most players have learned to recognize the most common DMs when they see them begin to work. Official site DMs will be denoted by the addition of the tag “Story DM” to their profile picture.
Occasionally players can request that a DM help them set up a mission or an event that will help further their storyline. Remember that the DMs are all volunteers, and nobody gets paid, so be polite when you make these requests. You should also follow the rules of etiquette whenever interacting with a DM during a mission.
