- Augustus Giovanni is the Recently deceased head of the Giovanni Family, a massive merchant family who made their mark on the world by being war profiteers from the Crusades. Originally embraced into the Cappadocian clan, on April 4, 1444 he rose up against his sire, and committed the act of diablerie. His family hunted down the rest of the Cappadocian clan to extinction. Now he's been risen again with purpose. He no longer rules the Giovanni and serves only Lord Asmodelius, his riser. With his new found demonic being, can you really tell if he's the same Augustus you all new and loved yet hated and killed?
- My Story Is...
- In 1005, in the hollows of Erciyes and under the shadow of Cappadocius' torpid form, Augustus Giovanni was brought into clan Cappadocian, directly embraced with the blood of the Founder and under the watch of Japheth and Constancia. While the embrace is relatively well known, what is not well known is the horse-trading before it.
The Clan of Death, the Cappadocians followed their Founder in a quest to understand the mysteries of death and God, including Cappadocius' plan to diablerize the Almighty. However, lacking knowledge about the soul (the Cappadocians' signature discipline of Mortis focused more on the act of dying then the events afterwards), the Founder began to shop for experts.
Enter the Giovanni, a family of prosperous Venetian traders who had for centuries depended on Necromatic skill to provide a business edge. Interested in expanding his family's power and seeing Vampirism as the route to doing so, Augustus Giovanni had been studying the clans and entertaining offers from various vampiric elders for the Embrace. The Cappadocian offer was the most attractive, providing the highest generation (as well as the most manipulable clan).
As a result, and despite the protests of Cappadocius' eldest childer, the Antediluvian rose from Torpor and provided Japheth with a small vial of his blood. Japheth reluctantly did so, draining Augustus and pouring most of Cappadocius' donated blood into the throat of a drained Giovanni (The remainder was hidden by Japheth, the True Vessel becoming a major element Giovanni rumor).
Following his ascent into the blood, Augustus Giovanni immediately began embracing his own family. In the course of doing so, the Giovanni became something between a bloodline and a cult within the Cappadocian clan. Acknowledged as the experts on Necromancy (and rapidly expanding the field), the Giovanni maintained themselves slightly separate from the mother clan. This, as the Giovanni claim is because Augustus had planned to usurp his sire from before he was Embraced.
In 1444, these plans came to fruition. Augustus Giovanni's childe, Claudius Giovanni formed a conspiracy to diablerize Japheth, the most beloved of Cappadocius' childer. The Conspiracy of Isaac was a criminal force in itself, but ultimately a distraction - since Hardestadt and other founders of the Camarilla had turned their eye towards the diablerie of elder vampires, Augustus wanted a catspaw, an obvious plan to distract them while he went after the greater prize. In 1444, both plans came to fruition, with Japheth dead, Cappadocius dead and both Giovanni raised a generation.
Taking advantage of the chaos of the era, Augustus began a purge of the Cappadocians that, while taking centuries to wipe out the stragglers, would be sufficiently successful that by 1528, he could negotiate a peace with the Camarilla, the Promise of 1528 was created. The Giovanni were left alone and left the Camarilla alone, exactly as the Giovanni wanted it.
Throughout the years, he carried on relationships with Delilah, his wife, and several other meaningful relationships, though when it came down to it, only one could last, only one should have. Inevitably, he ended up on Hellifyno, a wayward planet filled with the life of several hundred billion magical beings. The Giovanni weren't accepted mostly because of the other magical races there. They practiced with dark arts, necromancy among other skills and often it led to the imbalance of their favor. One after one, people betray the Giovanni and Gus acted accordingly, eventually starting the first war on the planet between Silverhide and Giovanni. It ended up with a raunchy victory of Titus Silverhide, the famous Silverhide Alpha who's father had been Jared Silverhide.
Soon there after, Augustus went back to normal, caring... Of course it didn't last because just when he'd managed to do so, he ended up breaking up the marriage between his daughter, Lamora Giovanni and Romulus Bloodwalker, who at the time, (TBC)

didn't have last name. Even so, Romulus was extremely angry and crossed the boundaries by killing Augustus. A day or so later and the sight of a staunch black carapace was brought into the tavern, created by black cloaked beings without names.
And after that, another war with the Hellifyno figures, but this time something was different. They'd blown up an entire planet, or at least Titus did. There was no excuse for it, no matter how many vampires there were and he'd done it with the void. So just as the planet exploded, new life was created in the form of Augustus. But the Augustus everyone knew and loved. This was an Augustus who controlled the void. Was its embodiment. Even after a month or two of constant battle raging, it came down to a single match between the heroes and Augustus. Augustus was set to die a painful death by the heroes once again, though it didn't go by their rules. They'd learned that he'd planned his death, that he'd fooled Romulus into killing him. That he was one of the three void lords, along side Loki, god of Mischief and Lucito, a wayward vampire who'd taken possession of Thak and Daloki.
Without further admission, the heroes were tossed into a battle with Augustus, acquiring from him a few of the tools needed in order to win the battle. Just a week later he met his downfall as Thak used his wits against him, his conscious taking effect just as he was turning Augustus into Damascus Augustus Giovanni. With this came Gus' end as he was thrown into the void realms for a full, solid three to five months. Everyone believed him dead, lost until he showed back up the tavern, brought about and to life by using Asmodelius to bring him back. Their bond had an unforeseen trait though. Gus was linked to Asmo. Had to do what he said. He was ordered to take training as part of the regime and eventually came to his downfall some time after he gained the Imperial Curaiss, a weapon and armor that gave him all the power he needed to go against the rebels and heroes at every turn.
On the night that he battled against them, his planet Italia had already been taken. The Giovanni were in turmoil, utter chaos.
He was taken down by Havoc after Sandro Giovanni challenged his claim on the Giovanni and chose Havoc as champion. Because of Gus' prideful demeanor, he was beaten in the arena. And taken down. Now he's held captive.

Dark brown eyes, deathly pale skin, gentle brown locks that are shoulder length, and standing at 6'0, Augustus Giovanni is a vampire of high standing. his fangs are barb tipped, and secret only one type of poison, which ghouls, embraces, or kills his victims. He is abnormally slim, though don't let his appearance fool you. He is both unpredictable, yet unnaturally kind.

The skeleton being bipedal and completely upright, the internal organs are stacked upon each other as in other humanoids rather than hanging in the belly cavity as is the case with four-legged animals. Augustus has the same analogous organs that Humans do, and internal organs are placed roughly in the same areas. However there are some size and structural differences, even though his functions are the same.
Augustus now has body hair except on the head, and that is thick, black, and straight. His scales are raised patterns on the skin rather than overlapping scales as in a fish. He still has the tanned, middle European skin tone. The pattern of scales fades noticeably on the belly, soft parts of the face, and buttocks. They are heaviest in the bony areas of the body, such as the neck, forehead, lower jaw, upper torso, spine, hips, and outer joints, knees, elbows, etc. He has a spoon-shaped crest on his forehead and on his breastbone.
His bone structure is heavy and thick which gave him broad shoulders with small waists and hips. There is almost no body fat on him at all, and what is, is less then 5 %. He stands at a rough 6'3'' and weighs about 220 Lbs where as once he stood at 6'0'' and about 146 Lbs.

- My Secrets Are...
- Most Giovanni were gifted with the curse of seduction. There aura is both frighteningly alluring, and devious. They aren't evil natured, though they do adore an occasional fling of sorts. Known to take only one mate during their entire life, Giovanni's are both faithful and loyal to eachother. They normally don't seek to embrace other's outside of their immediate family, meaning the daughters or men of the other embraced Giovanni's. Up to date, Augustus has taken nearly a whole clans worth of Childeren. However, he has yet to sire that one treu being which all others have. Those of the Giovanni sincerely say that one day he will sire a mate, though until that day, he is simply a founder and wanderer throught the lands of time.
I have many, many which you'll never know and all will come to you in due time. Remember, you'll learn that Augustus allows no freedom from those who've once killed him.

Augustus' Personal Abilities and Powers:
- Advanced Necromancy
- Flesh Barrier - Enhanced flesh build that allows you to slow, maim or otherwise destroy another weapon that makes contact with that certain region of your flesh.
- Porcupine Death - Ridges become hardened spikes which then project them like needles toward others who you believe to be a threat. Self damage done when used. Only able to be used once. Ridges will be lost. Gain scars where the ridges have fallen.
- Telepathy - Enhanced telepathy. Able to conquer lesser minds in order to provoke certain aspects of their character to show. And/or to send a message via mind.
- Possession - Possess human minds in order to put a meat shield in front of yourself. Also works when you're not around if you'd like to be somewhere else.
- Summoning Lesser Demons - Summons demons lower in status in order to grant certain privileged tasks and wishes free of charge. Once demons are finished being used, commence unsummon.
- Summoning Rodents and Smaller beasts and/or Critters - Bring about small creatures in order to do harm toward others, scare, or cause havoc. Creates chaos which also increases your power.
- Ridged Warning - Spikes when emotions turn for the worst. Shows that you're either angry, hurt or worse. Also used as a warning against others who happen to not know your character. Much like a rattle from the poisonous snake.
- Limited Fire Element Usage - Use fire around you or create the element for any reason you may have. Only usable for small things such as setting fires, lighting cigarettes and the like.
- Elemental Resistance - Completely resistant to flames. Other Elemental magics or elements work well against him.
- Astroprojection - Making someone see a certain thing that they other wise wouldn't. Projecting your image in a form you deem fit and worthy.
- Limited Clairvoyance - Sometimes able to tell whether someone is trustworthy or even get a name in an unorthodox manner. Most of the time... Supernatural.
- Telekinesis - Telekinesis allows the caster to manipulate and maneuver objects without touching them. Able to shoot blasts of invisible mind energy toward others in order to protect, harm or defend against an attack.
- Blood Magics - Average blood magics. Must be bleeding in order for them to work.
- Scale Removal - Skin flakes off like scales and the scales maintain the life essence derived from your personal power. Used for summoning, necromancy, tracking and healing.
