Where Anyone is Possible
My Scarecrow outfit is similar to the second one in Batman The Animated Series. The shirt is red and the pants, gloves, and hat are brown and made of a polyster/cotton mix. The shoes are brown and soft with hard soles on the bottom. The mask, however, is much like the burlap sack seen in the movies only with straw hair sewn into it and yellow glowing eyes.There is rope tied around my gloves, as well as a rope belt around my waist, which holds two sickles; the scythe I either carry with me or leave on the saddle bag.

(Hello, I like your profile. Jonathan Crane, a very good villain)
The Picasso was nicely placed in the gallery room of the museum. The world weaves synchronicities more elaborate than the craftwork of her native people. Alexander considered this as he appreciated the painting, reasons not being least of which were the hues of the palette; ironic, disturbing.
He had excellent hearing and although several observers came and went to view the canvas as Xavier stood before it, one new set of steps advanced and their sound indicated purpose and awareness of time. Alexander turned from the work with certainty and initiated his introduction with a warm smile, "Ah, Dr. Crane. A pleasure!" Xavier leaned forward, cane holding his place, and extended a gloved hand when in proper proximity.
Dr. Xavier was perhaps a little eccentric in costume and manner. Not bohemian or businessman, nor contemporary or old-fashioned. Neither overly-animated nor subdued in affect, his hair plentiful and natural but not slavishly attended to, he was seemingly neither old nor young, really. One would imagine this as his almost fully blending into obscurity among others, but that was not the impression this condition gave whatsoever.
"So glad you were able to get away form your work and brave the bustle of Gotham, Doctor. The city can be quite a nightmare."

*I lean into the light, my face spread into a sadistic grin* I'm always glad to come back to my happy home, doc! Without me, you just waste away here!
Once she heard the scream, Kate quickly turned around and made her way back towards where she had left Maria...What had happened? Had Maria escaped? She did not know for sure, but she needed to find out and quick...

(I can definitely start!)
*Storm clouds hover over Gotham, casting shadow everywhere, the occasional strike of lightening cracks through the sky as the rain falls
You walk the halls of the old asylum, most of the doctors find the antique of a building intimidating, but you feel right at home in it, as you walk into the padded room, the first examination of the day, an impish, cackley voice greets from the shaddowey corner* Whats up, Doc?

(Hello, doc! Thanks for the add, care to RP?)
Xavier had been in Gotham for several days attending to various obligations and settling in well enough. The dramatic occurrences that had taken place in the city of over the last couple days were installing a level of freneticism, fear and rampant news cycling as he had rarely seen. The television networks were parading out everyone in every walk of the city's diverse life. Many displayed the loyalty that crime money had bought, discussing how these prominent Gotham businessmen had donated to charities and led industries that had created jobs in the metropolitan area. Many had blamed vigilantism in an effort to sway public sentiment against the costumed avengers of injustice. Others thought the power vacuum would create a whole new crime structure and fertilize competition amongst the lower-tier criminals remaining. But, when such a total display of merciless execution had been shown, there was more than a little hesitation to elevate one's underworld status in the wake of it. Gordon and the city responded sensibly. With dozens and dozens dead in under three nights, a slaughter of note even for Gotham, a curfew had been put in place in several areas of the city and police and swat positioned for patrols throughout. Lethal force was authorized.
It was in the wake of these events that Alexander decided to contact Dr. Crane and arrange to finally meet his colleague. He left message earlier in the day that he would be at the Gotham City Museum of Modern Art in the afternoon and that they should meet in front of the recent anonymously donated Picasso. And so, with some minutes before the arranged meeting time remaining, Dr. Xavier stood in front of the piece, admiring the grimace of the portrait as he held his cane directly in front of him with two black leather-gloved hands.
Kate smirked very slightly before turning to leave....He could take all the time that he needed...She would not be leaving the city anytime soon...
"I completely understand....Thank you for your time..."
With that, she turned around and made her way towards the front door to Arkham Asylum...While walking, she ignored the glares and stares of the current inmates...Some of which she had put there in the first place...
{ I meant first him, and then meeting the mask. lol }
{ I'd prefer Dr. Crane, thank you. :) }
And then one night it began. All of Gotham's crime families were systematically and ruthlessly dispatched over the course of sixty-some-odd hours. The brutality and totality of the removal was only matched by its precision and mastery of the methods. The deconstruction of long-established, entrenched and well-connected crime syndicates from around the world that had festered in Gotham while conducting business as underground global empires fell like the ancient ones in Greece and Rome.
The Italian block including the Falcone, Maroni, Sabatino and Galante families were infiltrated and prominent members assassinated. Guards and administrators left dead, dismembered and their fluids sprayed across the walls like street graffiti. The fate that befell the Russian, Japanese and Ukrainian organizations was no different. It was a bloodbath. The wake left behind missing heads of families and the severed heads of their soldiers. Wires to utilities were cut where they entered the manors, brownstones and penthouses where these groups took comfort and thought themselves secure. Throughout the interior of the dwellings, holes were knowingly carved out of specific areas in walls where security systems, phone, electrical and data lines were expertly over-road, sidestepped or dismantled. And all of this was done at speed with no traces. Any cameras, computers or handheld devices were entirely purged of information: images, outgoing calls, contacts, financials and legal documents.
Police and forensics were strained beyond the limits, even for Gotham. Additional units and body bags needed to be shipped in from nearby metropolitan areas. No one would have the foresight to suspect that these immense changes in the power structure had only just started.
"Oh, I can only imagine. Do not worry about it...Any time is good for me, I suppose...Just have him give me a call, alright..."
Kate pulled a small card out of her pocket and helt it out to Sinner...She did not carry them on her often, but figured that tonight was a good night to do so...
{ Yes, I'd be delighted to RP with you. (: Would you care to start, or shall I?}
"You have mentioned his name quite a few times...I would actually like to meet him...Is there any way that you could arrange this?"
Kate folded her arms across her chest as she glanced through the glass at the various criminals inside....
{ Thank you for the kindly invite. :) }
Perfect. Everything was coming clearly into focus and taking definitive form, all the participants were assembled and everything was beginning to align. Alexander quickly scribbled down some greetings and formalities, the range of dates for his availability during his visit to Gotham, and his contact information; both personal and for his suite at the Ritz-Calton. Xavier would have the letter expedited posthaste. Indeed, meeting Dr. Cane was something he was looking very forward to. As a prominent contemporary researcher, the Doctor was sure the caliber of conversation was to be quite elevated. He smiled inwardly as he went through his dresser, assembling accessories and personals for travel with the languid, orderly focus of someone who was always in contemplative state of high indifference. Surely, Dr. Crane was familiar enough with the history and legend of Arkham and it had been a long time indeed since Xavier had spent considerable time in its troubled, echoing halls. It was certain to be a stimulating subject of conversation...
Within the domain of his silent memories, Alexander finished laying out some final items before taking a deep, calm breath, {{{Yuriko, have the car brought around for transfer to the flight strip. We’re leaving for Gotham tonight.}}}
"I trust you. Have any other criminals been brought here recently?"
[You are very welcome. :)]
Dear Dr. Crane,
I hope this finds you well. I am sorry to have so belated my reply. Indeed I was quite far from the resources that would grant me the opportunity to write. It is indeed the nature of my travels that is the focal area of my deepest work.
Unfortunate to hear about your difficulty with securing some assistance. I have found that it is important to collaborate with colleagues. I am sure whatever area you are engaged in I will find fascinating in all regards. As it happens I am planning a trip to Gotham next week. I have a spot of business in town. We should indeed find a common thread in our schedules and string some time together around your exciting metropolis. Perhaps the theatre or art museum, the grand library and then dinner? I am as well most interested in an visiting Arkham again. Do include how to best contact you upon my arrival.
Warm Regards,
A. Xavier
