My Story Is...

Not much to say really. I was born to a beautiful woman named Xena Vielle on this very planet, right outside the famous Blue Moon Tavern. My father, Aali Nejem, vanished when I was young, and comes back to visit every here and there. And then there's my little sister, Cassiopeia Aris Nejem aka "Cassi"... The brat is everything I'm not; princess (not just the title, but the literal embodiment), girly, social, and pink...so much pink. Finally, there's my adoptive brother, Taki Nejem, a werewolf of sorts. He's older than my sister and I, and has seemingly run off to and disappeared on Earth.

During the Plainview War, the Regime considered my mother to be a powerful enemy, someone who could aide the heroes in stopping their plans. They tried to manipulate her to bend to their will by attacking our current home, Ghalihafiz, a planet within an alternate Universe where evil does not exist. When the attack's purpose wasn't successful, the Regime went with plan B: kidnap one of her children if not both. Upon the kidnapping, only able to take me with them, they sent my mother a message and she refused to give in, as I requested.

I knew the consequences would be dreadful, but never could we have anticipated the price I'd have to pay....

I was tortured for a week, at the very least, the grand finale resulting in a terrible beating and rape by Augustus Giovanni and the Biggest Blood-Sucking Bitch. I woke up the next morning, with a pair of fangs.

Now I am part of the Rousseau bloodline, having been sired by Delilah. My senses, strength, healing, and agility have all been heightened and empowered. I can create illusions and shape shift, but not for a long period of time. I used to be vulnerable to many different elements, but after the Olde Watch battle, they simply...vanished. Ever since, my only weaknesses include fire and AM. They can burn off my skin and kill me with more ease than your average vampire and I won't heal as quickly. Then there's the batch of "siren" type abilities. They do come with the Rousseau blood, and can be useful at times, but I generally don't use them.

One last detail: I'm clinically blind. I was born blind, for complicated reasons I'd rather not explain, and was cured of it when I first became a vampire. Unfortunately, this curse, this gift, returned after Olde Watch, and I have been unable to see the world as most do ever since.

Even though I cannot fully look at the world like everyone else around me, I have come up with a few tricks to help me not fall off any cliffs by accident. One of them is Echolocation, which lights up my pitch black world with vivid white outlines of people and objects, and sometimes spirits. Another ability I have is something called Synesthesia. Synesthesia grants you the ability to experience the five senses - sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing - and sometimes psychic abilities or a "third eye", through unorthodox methods. Being a Synesthetes, I can see or taste sound, feel a taste, smell an emotion, and anything else along those lines.
