- I was in a rough patch; my engagement had ended, my job was go-no-where, and most of my friends had moved on to bigger and better things, So I went to the only place i knew would take me, the church. The priest heard me, i mean really listened and gave good advice.
I found myself helping out... as the years went by, our pastor approached me with an introduction to a 'special society'. My training in the national guard to pay for college made me a target member for the modern Inquisition, or "the resistance" in outside meetings.
Once i joined the resistance i knew i was home. The society has its own allowance, weapons stockpile and even a little magic training.... nothing crazy, just a little dabbling in divine spells and some sunlight spells... but its nasty verses the undead.
I am what you would call an enforcement. I am sent in from town to town to city as reports come in from the resistance's agents and informants. If you are out there and you get sloppy, I will be on your ass soon enough! So sleep well, i'm coming to get you, you sick demonic SOBs.

Damn door, it always froze if i tried to open it too fast. After struggling to with it for a while i got in, used that Lava soap to get most of the powder residue off my hands and scraped the inside of my gun barrel with a screwdriver to keep it from being traced back to me. I didn't even know i wasn't alone until he spoke
