In the beginning there was light and dark, order and chaos, the supernal and the mundane. You all have heard that in a million different fashions, in a billion different tongues you all know that part of it. But it is a lie. In the beginning was the Void. The Nothing. We dwelt there beyond the expanses of time and space. We existed through the efforts of our own sheer wills. Cthulhu, The Elder Gods, The Old Ones. Beings without names without reason, beyond the pale of good and evil, beyond the concepts of right and wrong. We lurked we waited we knew.
Then came the Laws. The first. The Law of Light. It pierced the Void and splintered it into a billion different facets. It forced us to take forms, to take concepts, to take names. Beings of purity, of light, as foreign to themselves as they were to us. The greatest of these beautiful creatures drew my attention, the Son of the Morning Star. I had to make him mine to change him to corrupt him to turn him into something he was not. Across existence we strove to weaken the Light in any manner possible. They gave us names, Monsters, Demons, Devils. We corrupted and tainted changing Light into Dark. Trying to make it resemble the Void.
After time incalculable, came the second law. The Law of the Lotus. It spread like webs on silken strands throughout all that is and all that should not be. Trapping and holding reality and time within its sticky expanses. But try as it might. It could not hold the Light or Us. So it created concepts of it self giving them, names seeking to make order in the orderless.
Out of that struggle came the third law. The Law of Life. The concepts of the Law of the Lotus began to form consciousness, becoming self aware. These concepts spread and erupted through infinity and the myriad of dimensions that the First and Second Law had created. But soon the third law began to forget the first and second law, believing itself to have originated on its own through simple mistakes of chemistry. The third law fell prey to the Light and to Us. Being subjected to enslavement by both of us.
Then came the final of the great laws. The Law of Vibration. It began ticking away, setting signs and portents within the other Laws to let them know that things were not permanent. Tick Tock Tick Tock all things wind down fall apart are destroyed and change to return to where they came from. To bring things back into our Void into our Nothingness. So I wait, I watch, I corrupt.
