Elizabeth-*follows behind Daloki, quickly switching to her demonic for, getting shorter and more childish lookin as her hair shortens and her eyes turn red while the pupils slit*
Daloki-We are going to get the bloodfruit trees and any picked bloodfruit back from the Cross BioMed facility.

Daloki-<opens the ramp and ushers everyone inside where they can talk>
Daloki-Yeah, that Cross.
Sassy-*hops inside*
Devek-*Devek stretches.*

Elizabeth-*bites her lip in pain as her horns sprout, then glides inside*
Sassy-who is this cross guy? *my head tilts*
Daloki-Head of the Slayers. Cross BioMed is part of his conglomerate. Or something.
z Havoc z-`follows after the group`
Elexin-walks in and pulls a black hood over his face.
Sassy-*nods* so we are dealing with slayers then on this mission. *nods once more* got it.
Daloki-Point is, they have the bloodfruit trees, and not only is bloodfruit Elexin's preferred form of food, the fruit supposedly "cures" magic. So do not, DO NOT, let any of it get into your mouth or you will lose your magical powers.
Elizabeth-*nods uniformly, remaining silent*
jayden-::laughs a little to herself at sassys words::
Sassy-*nods once more* yes daloki understood!
Sassy-*asumes from what i have heard*
Daloki-Okay so ... those of you who can transform, or half-transform, need to do that before we arrive.
Sassy-so that means i need pocky. sweet! *nibbles on a lot of pocky. then my cat ears and tail came out*
Elizabeth-*has already transformed most of the way, then her incisors grow slightly longer*
Daloki-Lord Elexin and I are mercenaries who have captured the rest of you and are delivering you to the facility to be test subjects.

z Havoc z-`his bones stretch and elongate, his clothes disappearing as he grows into his large, flaming form`
Sassy-*listens to daloki carefully and giggled abit*

Sassy-*looks around the ship*
Daloki-<unrolls her jacket and takes some really neat tech-looking and utterly harmless metal collars out of the pocket> Put these on, prisoners.
Elizabeth-*watches him transform as well, taking on an innocent, confused expression*
Sassy-*takes a collar and puts it over my chocker(?)*
Elexin-shrugs then. Sends three small pulses of light to Devek's optic nerve... and says" Will that work for you?"
jayden-::takes a collar and puts it on:: kinky ::she mutteres::
Elizabeth-*takes a collar and looks at it for a moment before putting it on*
Devek-takes a collar and puts it on.
Devek-Yeah....perfect...
Daloki-They do nothing ... but they look like they do something. <hands Elexin a control unit that has buttons and a dial that work but don't do anything>
Daloki-<and takes out one herself> Havoc, now that I think about it, that's okay.
z Havoc z-`sinks down into his smaller form, lupine features carefully taking in information`
Daloki-IF I have a collar big enough....
z Havoc z-Too late.
Elexin-turns dials and presses buttons and the unit shorts out.
Daloki-<chuckles>

Daloki-Doesn't matter.
Daloki-Just don't let anybody see that it doesn't light up.

Sassy-*looks around the ship. had never seen an awesome ship*
Daloki-Here's the situation. The facility has only automated defenses. The people in it are scientists and some guards for the test subjects.
Daloki-They won't have tons of weapons.
Sassy-*looks at dal listening to her every word*

Elizabeth-*nods silently, and grins at the mention of no weapons*
z Havoc z-Easy.
Elexin-thinks Famous last words.... no bullets in the gun... blaam
Daloki-So we go in pretending to be humans delivering prisoners, get the trees and bloodfruit, and go. Lord Elexin has a way to get the trees out and to their destination, correct?
Sassy-sounds easy but there's always something bigger than that. *shrugs and sighs*
jayden-::nods taking her stele and consealing it::
Elexin-Yes.. *pulls out 2 large crystals *
Daloki-<looks around, they all have the collars on>
Sassy-*looks at the ship again wanting to explore but doesn't*
Daloki-Now - something *always* goes wrong. Maybe this time it won't, but don't bank on it. I have a shitload of weapons in my fairy pocket for those who can't conceal their own.
Daloki-So does Lord Elexin.
Elexin-* Smiles hidden in the black hood*

Sassy-*smiles at the thought of being able to hide my vampiric dagger*

Daloki-Because the test subjects have to have their magic active to know whether the bloodfruit kills their powers.
Elizabeth-*raises bothe hands and looks at the claws and runs her tongue over her fangs* That is good...
z Havoc z-`stands 7'8" tall, his hair a halo of flames and a cocky grin` They just make this too easy.
Elexin-Ohh... ** nods **
Devek-*He smiles at Havocs comment.*
Daloki-Okay folks ... cabin's through here, strap in. Elexin, will dramamine work for you?
Sassy-uhm daloki are you sure that we're going on a safe mission it sounds WAY too easy

Elizabeth-*the feathers on her wings ruffle quietly as she shifts them to get comfortable*
Daloki-<calls the tower and gets clearance to depart, the hangar doors open>

Sassy-*i've watched the window and was curious*

Elizabeth-*watches out the front window, stretching against her seatbelt to be able to see*
Devek-sits back and goes afk for a sec.
Daloki-<she and Havoc do what the crew needs to do to get to the coordinates of their destination, then she unstraps>
DM-You arrive where the research facility ought to be, but the space appears empty.
Daloki-<grins wickedly at Havoc> Here's the fun part.
Elizabeth-*is confused by the emptiness and looks to Daloki* Is it supposed to be empty? *her voice soundds innocent and sweet*
Sassy-*looks between havoc and daloki*
z Havoc z-`unstraps with another grin`
Elizabeth-*unstraps herself*
Elexin-opens eyes... feeling out with his mind for energy signatures...
Elexin-Somethings there.
Sassy-*unstraps quickly and puts my short dirty blonde hair into a huge pony tails*
jayden-::unstraps and fixes my ponytail::
Daloki-<opens the correct comm channel and whistles the opening bars of "Some day my prince will come," reels off a string of numbers and letters, then recites in a wooden voice> It matters not how strait the gate, how charged with punishment the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul <then whistles "Let's all sing like the birdies sing" and waits>
Daloki-Tell 'em to strap down again, Havoc. <strapping herself back in>
Sassy-*hears it and done as i've heard*
DM-This is apparently the magic word. Or words. After the cloaking has been disabled and the facility becomes visible, the first thing you notice is that it looks rather mundane. It seems to be a large, flat disk with a dome top spinning lazily in space. There is a docking hub attached to the disk by a thin corridor.
jayden-::shifts her armor and straps back in::
Elizabeth-*jumps out of the seat and spreads her wings to re-settle the feathers then straps back in, grumbling quietly*
z Havoc z-Strap back up guys, it's not over yet. `his voice gravelly and he straps himself in`
DM-An automated system hails your ship and your console blinks as it awaits a response. "Do you require docking clearance?" [li]A. Yes. [li]B. No.
Daloki-<punches for Yes>
DM-The reply is instant and directs you to an empty spot in the hub with no further hassle.
Daloki-<makes a nice, smooth approach and docks without incident>
Sassy-*i've felt unease sensing my surroundings. wants to pull out my dagger but doesn't*

Daloki-<unstraps and goes back into the cabin> Now, remember you are captives controlled by those collars. If you decide to act up, one of us will do something with our control modules and there'll be a buzz ... from mine ... go to your knees when you hear it IMMEDIATELY.

Daloki-<fastens an inconspicuous bar to the chest of his uniform and one to her own>

Elexin-starts to instinctively reach but pulls his hand back.
Sassy-*giggles at the verbal fight and then shakes my head turning back into serious mood*
Daloki-Prisoners gather at the exit, we're behind you.

Elexin-takes his position behind the prisoners and holds the clipboard.

Daloki-<mashes the controls to open the doors and then moves to the back>

Daloki-Move out, you miserable scum!
Sassy-*shakingly done as told. my widen eyes scaned the scene*
jayden-::walks out::
Elexin-barks out orders every now and then at the prisoners.
DM-As soon as you disembark, flying eyeball machines hover toward you, floating two feet away from and six feet above each person. A red beam emits from the center, scanning every individual. Armored cameras are mounted everywhere, as well as automated turrets. An automated voice chirps, "What is your purpose here? Please present proper identifications for scanning."
Devek Slayter-*Devek follows the rest but his eyes scan the area intently.*
z Havoc z-`snarls in low crackling rumbles`
Daloki-<walks to the scanner and lets it go over the bar on her chest>
Sassy-*actually jumps when the thing came. shivers and stuff staying within the group*
Elexin-presents the paperwork.
Elizabeth-*looks around scaredly, her eyes wide*
Daloki-*Let it scan you, Lex*
jayden-::stays still and emotionless::
DM-The scanner by Daloki beeps, then scans the clipboards.
Daloki-<messes up his name>
DM-Your response has been recorded. Please proceed to the airlock, the voice declares emotionlessly. The floor lights up with arrows pointing toward a set of sliding doors to the north.
Daloki-Move along!
Elexin-barks a cadence out to the prisoners.
Elizabeth-*obeys Elexin*
Sassy-*dones as told by dal still being scared to death*
jayden-::moves as is told::
Devek Slayter-*Devek watches the machine, putting on a look that mixes scared angry and sadness at the same time.*
z Havoc z-swipes a claw at the passing eyeball scanner as he steps with the group.
DM-The floating eyeballs hover back to their places, though the one around Elexin stalls several moments longer than the rest.
Daloki-<touches the control unit and there's a buzz>
DM-Turrets swing to aim at Havoc.
z Havoc z-`groans as if in pain and pitches to his knees`
Elexin-stomps over to Havoc chewing out the prisoner to get back into formation.
Elizabeth-*watches Havoc fall to his knees, her hands over her mouth and her eyes wide*
Daloki-<cuts off the buzz>
DM-They slowly swivel away and resume their lazy sweeps.
Sassy-*winces watching havoc's performance*
Elexin-resumes his position.
z Havoc z-`his large body remains hunched over in case of prying eyes. he pushes to his feet again and obediently stomps into formation`
Daloki-Keep moving!
Elizabeth-*follows orders, trembling*
jayden-::she moves on::
DM-The doors open as you approach, revealing a long hallway. Cameras track your movements. There is an open hatch at the end of the corridor, which leads into the airlock and is big enough for everyone to squeeze in.
Sassy-*jumps and moves on with the order. fear hanging over me shivering with every step*
Daloki-<herds them inside>
z Havoc z-`squeezes his large frame inside`
Elizabeth-*steps inside, looking up at everyone around her, huddling by the biggest person (Havoc?)*
jayden-::moves inside annoyed at being stood so close to everyone::
z Havoc z-`is 7'8" tall and 240 lbs..`
Daloki-<the plasma rifle over her shoulder briefly catches on the doors as she moves inside, and she dislodges it with a grunt>
Sassy-*looking around neverously sensing for any type of life other than the group*
Elexin-(havoc is skinny)
Elizabeth-*huddles by Havoc then, whimpering*
Daloki-(was just thinking that!)
Sassy-(tthat was random elexin! *gigggles*)
DM-The hatch door swings shut as the last person enters, as if something knew exactly how many of you there were. A voice speaks, "Please hold your breath."
z Havoc z-`takes after his father`

Daloki-<thinks that will be easy for Elexin>
z Havoc z-`obeys`
DM-Barely giving you time to draw a lungful of air, the room is re-pressurized, making your ears pop. A fine white mist sprays down on everyone, creating a white, powdery film over every inch of you. This film lingers for about thirty seconds, then fades away to invisibility. The voice speaks, "This is a precautionary measure. You have been disinfected. Please proceed to the center of the facility. Do not disturb the wildlife."
Elizabeth-*does so*
jayden-::holds her breath::
Sassy-*my head tilts but obeys the order*
jayden-::grumbles quietly::
Daloki-<swallows to clear her ears>
Devek Slayter-*Devek sneezes and shakes his head.*
Elizabeth-*whimpers again*
z Havoc z-`shakes his body as much as the space allows`
Sassy-*shivers and stuff*
Daloki-Watch it, there, wolfie...
DM-When the hatch door on the opposite side swings open and you step out, it's like stepping into a contained jungle.
Daloki-Move it!
Elizabeth-*looks around in awe for a moment, then goes back to acting like a scaredy-cat*
DM-Lush alien plantlife surrounds you, coming right up to the state-of-the-art titanium stone-replica walls. The ground is soft, lush soil. Gravity is a little stronger than typical Earth gravity would be, giving a downward pull that may be difficult to get used to. It seems to be a wide open landscape, twisted trees and impossible looking plants practically choking the area, but if you look closely everything looks to have been carefully planned out. The sheer variety is staggering, but there is no sign of the plant you are seeking. The domed ceiling is beautifully manufactured blue hologram with orange clouds floating leisurely by. A well traveled path and a helpful toadstool in the shape of an arrow points you toward the center of the circular area.
Sassy-*enters being scared and looking around the scene as i've entered*
z Havoc z-`steps out reluctantly`
jayden-::looks around almost impressed::
Daloki-<hits Jayden in the back> That way <points in the direction of the arrow>
jayden-::winces in pain trying not to grumble::
Elizabeth-*follows close behind havoc, looking around anxiously*

Devek Slayter-*Deveks eyes narrow taking in every thing he can see, prcessing the images and storiing them away for later...*
Sassy-*thought the scenery was pretty as i have never seen such a sight. continues to move until the next order*

Daloki-<murmurs to Elexin> This is as far as Tye's info could take me. We're on our own now.
Elexin-walks behind devek watching him.
Daloki-(made it look good, but it was just a tap)

Elexin-nods imperceptibly
DM-There's a shuffling sound off the path to the left.
Daloki-Keep moving forward, you critters.
Elizabeth-*squeaks loudly and jumps behind havoc*
Sassy-*hears it. my left ear twitched to the noise*
Devek Slayter-*Deveks ears twitc, hearing the shuffle.*
Sassy-*does as told as well*
jayden-::keeps going listening closely to the sounds around her::
Elexin-yells at devek in Felis to keep moving.
DM-It pauses at the sound of a voice, but then as Sassy goes past it rustles again and gets closer.
Daloki-<smacks Elizabeth, hitting her own thigh with the other hand to make a loud smack> I said KEEP MOVING!
z Havoc z-remains hunched over so his frame is not as noticable
Elizabeth-*whimpers loudly and rushes forward, bumping into Havoc*
Sassy-*winces at the yelling and wanted to run but didn't. fear kept hanging and clinging on to me*
Devek Slayter-snaps at Elexin.
DM-A vine whips out and grabs jayden by the ankle, knocking her off her feet and dragging her into the brush.
z Havoc z-wraps a claw around Jayden's arm
Elexin-draws himself to his full height and pummels him in the stomach with the hilt of his Dha.
jayden-::holds on to havoc thrashing at the vine::
Devek-*Devek drops to the ground holding his bare stomach.*
Daloki-Ah SHIT! <pulls a knife from her boot, falls onto Jayden's body and slashes the vine>
Elexin-Get moving dog
DM-The vine tightens, then falls in two halves as Daloki cuts it, one squirming around jayden's ankle and the other whiplashing back into the foliage.
Daloki-<then backs up FAST>
z Havoc z-`pulls Jayden away and yanks the writhing vine off of Jayden's ankle`
jayden-ahhh get,,it,,,off
Daloki-Goddamn alien shit ... we lose her, we don't get paid for her.
DM-The rustling manifests as a deafening roar sounds from right next to Devek and Elexin.
jayden-::looks at havoc and smiles:: cheers
Sassy-*my eyes widen and then turned to see the group*
Elizabeth-*bites her lip and continues along with the group*
Daloki-What the hell? RUN you idiots.
Elizabeth-*obeys the orders, and runs as fast as her childish legs will carry her*
DM-A creature stands up, a crossbreed of a jaguar and something else. A werebear perhaps? It has some humanoid features, but it also has a long, ratlike tail.
z Havoc z-`sets Jayden back on her feet to follow Daloki's orders`
Sassy-*runs as told out of fear*
jayden-:she looks over at dal and begins to run::
Devek Slayter-
Daloki-Don't hurt it, they'll take it out of our payment!
Elexin-produces a plasma pistol from the waistband of his uniform.
Sassy-*i've kept my eyes on the group as i've ran for dear life. my ears lowered*
Elexin-grabs Deveks neck and halls him up.
Daloki-<realizes ... she's actually thinking like a smuggler again ... who the hell cares?>
Daloki-<but it sounded good>
Devek-*Is pulled up and walks forward.*
Daloki-<stays behind the main group, running>
DM-The creature leaps at Elexin, powered by feline rear legs, its bearlike foreclaws aimed for the man's head.
jayden-::keeps running forward, skidding to a hault and turning to face elexin drawing out her blade::
Sassy-*i've resisted the urge to pull out my dagger but i've tried to sense where the danger was as i ran. still maintaining my fearful image*
Elexin-Fires 4 fast shots at the creatures head as he dives and rolls to his feet out of the path of the creature.
Daloki-<looks back> So much for that ... <unslings the rifle and fires at the thing's head>
DM-The sound of voices attracts attention, and as you run the larger trees give way to more praire-like conditions, with shorter plants. But this is hard to notice as a creature comes swooping out of the "sky" toward you. Several creatures, in fact. There are seven of them in all, arranged in an arrow-point formation. They dive bomb the runners from the sky like birds, but they move so fast it's hard to tell.
jayden-::she sighs annoyed and conseals her weapon again::
z Havoc z-covers Jayden and whispers for her to put it away

Daloki-This is nuts ... why would they put us through this?
Elexin-Testing.
DM-The creature takes three of those shots to the head, part of its skull blasting away, but it keeps coming.
Devek-*Devek just watches, not knowing what to do, not wanting to blow their cover.*
Daloki-<sweeps plasma through the air at the goddamn birds>
Daloki-Don't disturb the wildlife my ass.
Sassy-*my ears and eyes scaned the lively room sensing for more danger. thinks about saying daloki i told ya so but she made herself quiet clear she was alerted*
jayden-::looks around her eyes scanning everything::
Daloki-<sends a thought to everyone> *Protect yourselves, but do NOT look like you're escaping*
Elexin-three pulses of light flashes in deveks optic nerve.
Elizabeth-*curls her wings around herself slightly, huddling down*
Devek-*Devek bares his teeth and attacks the on coming creatures.*
Daloki-<wonders how far they are from the damn center of the zoo/arboretum>
Sassy-*i've hissed as 5 flames went infront of me forming into fire shurikens*
Elizabeth-*reaches out quickle with one hand and claws at one of the creatures, then does the same with the other hand*
DM-There are enough birds for each runner, and everyone finds themselves being dive bombed in the head. One takes a hit in the wing from Daloki's plasma fire and goes reeling to her left.
jayden-::draws out her blade calling its name and swings it up at the birds::
z Havoc z-`catches the bird between his claws and rips it's wings out`
DM-Elizabeth's strikes effectively de-wing her bird and it goes rocketing past her shoulder like a torpedo, beak slamming into the ground and neck breaking.
Elizabeth-*claws above her head, screaming at the toop of her voice*

Daloki-<slashes at the nearest creature with the knife she pulled from her boot>
Daloki-<can't fire again, too close quarters>

DM-Jayden slices a bird in half and most of Sassy's shurikens hit, the creature bursting into flames as it plummets to the ground. The one havoc tears apart manages to get a bite in on his shoulder, sharp beak sliding into his flesh.
Devek-*Devek dashes at the creature and puns his claw into the cavity in its head, aiming to rip its head in two....*
Sassy-*i've yet again hissed watching the birds. then 5 more flames came out behind me. i;ve smirked watching my victory*

DM-The jaguar thing is indeed ripped in twain, its skull coming apart weakly at the joints by Devek's superior strength.

Elizabeth-*whimpers quietly and obeys, her wings still curled around herlike a shell*

DM-The creature's bodies litter the ground around you. None appear to be moving.

DM-The twisted bodies of the creatures are a horrifying sight. They look vaguely like pterodactyls with their leathery wings and beak-like faces, but the rest of the face looks humanoid with very large eyes. Where the claws should be at the midpoint of the wing are tiny hands instead. The body is covered in scales, and the lower half resembles a goat, replete with cloven hooves.

Daloki-<the creature reaches the path, crosses it right in front of the first person in line, and then appears to hear something ahead on the far side of the path, because it takes off running, and they hear something scream some distance away>

DM-A few more minutes of walking reveals a building nestled in between the plantlife. Large electrified fences raise up out of the encroaching jungle like a monument to the tenacity and strength of technology. A second glance reveals to you that these trees surrounding the facility are all identical, instead of the crazy mix-n-match of the rest of the jungle. They all have dark red bark and leathery, palm shaped leaves.

jayden-::looks around at the trees a small frown on her face she glances over at havoc and beth then back to the trees::

Daloki-<gets close to him and mutters> Should we find the fruit first or what?
DM-A host of robots about the size of a one gallon paint bucket flies amongst the blood fruit trees like a horde of bees, tending to the branches tirelessly.
DM-Numerous more robots patrol amongst the groves on the ground. The trees are all inside the enclosure. The path leads toward the gate, which has two living guards stationed.
Elexins-Fruit ... it is more dangerous for them to have
Sassy-*my head tilts looking at the trees and the activity happening to each tree. in a different langue* "wow.... amazing..." *softly said*
Daloki-Okay ... I guess you show the paperwork to the guards, I'll bring up the rear.
Devek-*Devek arches a brow, keeping his mouth shut. He pops his neck some and looks to Elexin.*
Daloki-<her gut tightens ... remembering her own words "something always goes wrong">
Elexins-walks up the the guard station and produces the paperwork for them.

DM-At the gate are two human guards, dressed in their Slayer Standard Uniforms. They're discussing whose wife has the better "technique." The conversation dies down as Elexin approaches. You notice from this distance that there are no fruits at all on any of the trees, each one has been completely harvested.
Daloki-Move up, people. Stop 10 feet behind the boss.
DM-Guard one: *takes the clipboard* Who are you guys supposed to be?

DM-Guard one: Ah get offit. If your recruits can't handle our denizens, then what good are they to us? *hands the clipboard back to Elexin and nods to the other guard*

DM-Guard two chuckles, and both of them turn keys into their stations at the count of three. The gates open into the inner compound.
Daloki-<guard 2 starts feeling a bit sleepy ... perhaps he yawns>

Sassy-*i've sighed and awaits order. i've wanted to move now but doesn't*

DM-There's a set of double doors leading into the building.

DM-Both guards yawn simultaneously, then start picking on each other over who yawned first.

DM-The rest of the area is swarming with mechanical tenders, all equipped with lasers mounted on their shoulder areas, not to mention the large-stingered harvester bots.
Sassy-*i've looked at the surrounding wanting to explore like a child but then doesn't. due to the misssion and what not*
Daloki-<herds them through the double doors>
jayden-::looks around keeping my face forward calculating each device,::
DM-A long hallway leads down the center of this building. The ceilings are dotted by bullet proof dark, one way glass orbs that protect cameras. Machine guns and lasers are mounted beside the cameras, swiveling menacingly. Immediately to the left and right are doors proclaiming "SECURITY. DO NOT ENTER. ALARM WILL SOUND" in large letters. The floor tiles in front of these doors are a different color. Beyond the doors are two hallways leading left and right, filled with endless rows of doors. Beyond these two hallways are two more hallways that you cannot see down. At the end of the main hall on the right is a soft green glow. An arrow painted on the floor reads "Check in" and points to the end of the hall. The hideous shrieking of beasts fills the air in a jarring cacophony.
Sassy-*is herded through talking in my langue again softly* "i don't like this"
Elizabeth-*unhuddles a bit and looks around more*

DM-As you pass the hallways, you see rows upon rows of individual cells, with all types of magical creatures sticking their various assorted limbs out of the bars.

jayden-::looks at the creatures as we walk past, giving havoc a small shocked glance::

Elexins-looks and notes the variety of creatures.
DM-The green glow becomes eerie the closer you get to it. Raucous calls accompany your footsteps as you approach the room. It is surrounded by glass almost like a greenhouse, and there appears to be a refrigerated section as well. This is the storage room for the bloodfruit. Crates upon crates of it are organized around the room, rows and rows of refrigerated shelving with various cans, jars, and vats of extracts and jellies, all visible through the glass. The arrows on the floor point to the left, to the rooms opposite of this greenhouse area.
