HELLIFYNO / The Chase / RSI to Outpost– MORNING – 8.3.17

The Inquisitorium

Through the trees of Hellifyno's forests, the Speeder Bikes weaved, in no strict order!

And moving as quickly as possible, but still slow enough to be well within the speeds Kara could achieve. Even when they broke from the trees, and launched in the direction of their base, their acceleration was easily matched by Kara, in the newly rising sunlight. They spread out!

And Crissshei stuck close to Kirk and Sticks, as they rode to Saber Hill.

Kara Zor-El

Kara was on their tail. Right on the enemies tail! She knew! She so knew that Kirk was going to hate her for following! For disobeying orders! For having fought off those bad guys! And for a while, she had been tempted to. The least she could do was to find out where their garrison was located, where they'll be holding him hostage. If the crew knew of his location, they could get him out. Possibly.

Right now she wasn't so sure that Kirk would ever return. Going In. Yet: No Going Out...

Captain James T. Kirk

He wouldn't know what was going on, but their defensive driving pointed to one particular possible follower? Kara Zor-El! Immediately, Kirk shouted, "BACK OFF!" Over his right shoulder, huddled against Sticks, so as not to fall off of this damn Speeder Bike! To Thwart Kara Away! Don't Follow!

Kara Zor-El

Kara was too high up in the air to be either seen or heard!

Though she could see and hear them. Did she hear Kirk? Probably.

Dr. Alexandra Danvers

Running! Still running as her eyes were foggy, due to fever.

They were also filled with tears. But she wasn't stopping. Of course she was too far away from them now. But... a branch caught one of her legs and she was sent flying forward. Knee hitting the ground first. And now she was on the ground. Not knocked out but she could run no more. That letter from Jim Kirk still held firmly within her hand. Not letting go of it. Much like she would never let go of him.

Her guy! Her beloved!

(Sticks)

686th Inquisitorial Squad / Black Stealth Armored Death-Troopers (Ten+ Troopers)

Sticks glanced back sharply at Kirk. Even if he couldn't see Kara, he could feel the pure adrenaline. The intensity of what was going on. He cackled like a madman, and gunned his engine a bit sharper.

Inquisitor Crisshei Corbleigh (Kri-shay Core-blee)

But Inquisitor Crisshei was not laughing. She continued to glance up, able to sense, what she could not see. Still 60 miles to go. The base was not even in sight yet.

Captain James T. Kirk

Cold: space is even worse when you're flying between ships. Kirk's knees held on successfully to the Speeder Bike. Could Kirk sense Danvers, not too far behind them? Probably. She can't be here!

She can't be here! Danver's has to be strong for this plan to work: otherwise, all will surely be lost...

Dr. Alexandra Danvers

Bloodied feet and scraped knee. She sensed him. He was close enough for it, though she was too far away. Danvers had no way of keeping up with speeder bikes. But his energy was felt, stronger than any other. As for her being strong, it would work. For a time. Before she broke down. It was what she felt and figured. Unlike him, she was not a good Captain. Different, too. Was she giving up? No, she was not a quitter. But her body was weak, due to the fever. And so she was on the ground, on her stomach, struggling to even stand up. What kept her going was Jim. The words in that letter. The things he wrote, they spoke her to. She could hear them inside her head. With his voice.

The Inquisitorium

The Debaser, higher within the air, than even Kara, passed overhead, back into the direction that she had come from.

The Speeder Bikes, here in the open plains, just ate up the miles.

Moving hundreds of miles per hour, the wind whipped by them, violently, and grass was so long that it whipped at the riders, as they passed.

The Hill, Saber Hill:  loomed longingly into view...Saber Hill.

With their AT-AT Walkers patrolling around the base.

And The Shield glimmering in the air around it. Well-Protected. Twenty Miles Remained.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/IM-8005_shield_projector_garrison)

Kara Zor-El

The Debaser was spotted and well... which caused concern. Well then, they were ALL doomed anyway, and they ALL knew it. More of it was a choice of poison right now. Their morale was low, at best. Kara studied it for a while, though seeing the base for herself, from a distance, was more important. Not up in its face or anything. But just to see it. She would know of its location then. And maybe, just maybe she would spot those massive AT-AT Walkers? Human Transports with four legs, a body, and a portable weapons garrison. That's not ominous at all, right? Kara was still trying to keeping up with the Speeder Bikes! Though she was slowing down by now since more could be seen. Saber Hill was nearly in sight.

The Inquisitorium

Moments after The Debaser passed by…

A Shuttle took off from Saber Hill.

And Three TIE/D Defenders, right along with, said: Shuttle.

They streaked through the sky, heading into the direction of the Red Sun Inn...

And Danvers. Kara! If they were within 50 miles of Saber Hill, would have a clear view.

The disrupted soil around it, the AT-AT Walkers & AT-ST Walkers, that patrolled it.

The Walled Facility, inside a larger, Electrified Fence. The Turrets around it.

The now swarming Tie/D Defenders/Fighters, screaming in circles around the base.

The Speeder Bikes sped unharmed over the Land Mines, somehow, making a direct line towards the Front Gate of the Walled Facility. Towards The Inevitable Front Gate.

The Front Gate where, Grand Inquisitor – D’Jak Speir / Darth Callidus, patiently waited.

One.

Mile.

Remaining.

Kara Zor-El

By now, she had seen enough, she felt. More so since trouble was coming. The war was about to begin. Stalling the War: had only led to this moment. Maybe, deep down: Kara had hoped that there would be no War? Possibly. But handing Kirk over was what they'd wanted all along. There was no reason to keep the crew alive anymore. Something most of them had figured. At this point, Kara had stopped her chase, hovering high up in the air. A mixture of feelings were within. Anger... sadness... pain... all of it.

Diana Prince

Perhaps a bit late in the general gist of things but moments earlier, Diana had noticed the lack of a certain Alexandra Danvers. Someone she had sworn to protect, along with Kirk. And since she was nowhere to be seen, well, she had gotten up onto her feet and checked the Red Sun Inn. Which was silent as a graveyard. Not a soul there. Something concerning: That alone was concerning. And so the Amazon was running through the forest, trying to find anyone that was missing. Which was everyone!

Captain James T. Kirk

By all accounts, Kirk is cold upon that Speeder Bike and the grass was more of a pain the ass, when it scratches upon exposed skin. Eyes closed. Center of Being. Kirk only deals in swarms of chaos...

Dr. Alexandra Danvers

Finally, she managed to stand, which was a fight in and of itself.

It was a bad nightmare. Horrible! One that was real, all too real. No!

And it's going to get worse. Much worse. As if things could get worse.

They took the guy that she loves! They captured Him! They arrested Him!

And now they're going to hunt the rest of the crew! No one would be safe.

They would pay for this. With their Lives! The Crew Needs: Diana and Kirk Back!

The Inquisitorium

The Debaser blocked out the sun, as it lowered, like a falling cloud, or The Hand of god, over the Inn. Fighters began to swarm, from it, as it waited for its task to become apparent. It was so large, that even within the great distance, where Danvers had run: it had still placed her under its shadow. But the Inquisitorium had not yet finished its move. The shuttle screamed overhead, and inside, Inquisitor Ryssa's eyes snapped open. "Stop the ship!" She ordered, up to the Pilot, and the Pilot responded by Circling Back to the location where Inquisitor Ryssa had first called out. A location, roughly 500 feet above Alex Danvers head. "Inqusitorium! Move out!" She ordered, as the ramp dropped: in masse, the Inquisitors began to leap from the edge of the platform. The Saberhunters followed rapidly!

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

She leaped off the ship in a backflip, enjoying the wind in her hair. She gently caressed her descent so when she hit the ground. She didn't break anything, she did feel the presence of Alex though and followed it.

Dr. Alexandra Danvers

The ship was one that was impossible to miss. So it was on, then. The hunt had finally begun. She knew it. The moment they had Kirk, it would start. Why did no one listen? Because the voice of reason was seldom heard. This wasn't how it was meant to be. They had all agreed this was a bad idea. Here she was... pajama pants, tank-top and bloodied feet. In the middle of nowhere. She knew they had to survive. Or try to. And standing here wouldn't help that. And if she heard Diana, she didn't even look at her. ''Get my things.'' Simple and emotionless tone, even if her emotions were running wild inside. Mostly sadness. ''We're leaving.'' But she would see this Empire crumble first! Portal Coin: used! Gone!

Diana Prince

And just as Alex Danvers had approached. Wonderful! Though she had a feeling things were dire. Diana immediately ran off towards their cottage to get some of the things for Danvers. They had to move!

The Inquisitorium

If they couldn't have one, (meaning: Alexandra Danvers) they'd take the other...Diana Prince...

Inquisitors began to land, all around Diana Prince. Eleven of them, including Inquisitor Wynonna. In addition, jetpacks began to slow the descent of Twenty Heavily Armored Saberhunter Troopers... All leveling their weapons at Diana. Crimson sabers ignited, and Ryssa stepped forward with two of her weapons, leveled out at Diana. Ryssa finally spoke, "You've got three choices. Surrender, flee, or die."

Kara Zor-El

Kara was on her way back and might have seen that shuttle?

The war was on. What would she do? Remained to be seen.

Diana Prince

Oh dear. Surrounded. By eleven of them. Not good odds but she could potentially take them on, if she had to. And in this case, she would have no choice. Diana was, as per usual, armed and wasn't not prepared for a fight. To say she was surrounded, would be an understatement. Diana just looked at them, though focus was now on Ryssa. ''Neither’s an option.'' She stated.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

She used telepathy with Inquisitor Ryssa for a moment to offer a strategy.

Inquisitor Crisshei Corbleigh (Kri-shay Core-blee)

Inquisitor Ryssa smirked, behind her Sith Mask, and simply reached out, through The Force, (seizing the very muscles of Diana's throat), to begin closing them up, and cutting off her access to oxygen.

Diana Prince

The Force was something she had no resistance against and so said Force Choke was successful. She could feel the muscles in her throat beginning to close. Though there was no fear in her eyes. Right now she just seemed to take it. Danvers was safe, at least. She wished she could say the same about Kirk. As for Kara, she didn't know.

The Inquisitorium

Inquisitor Ryssa Stark shook her head, at the simplicity of it, and other Inquisitors reached out, through The Force, and began an attempt to strip away the weapons that Diana had. Even her clothing, to her armor, their goal: casting it aside like they belonged among the fallen leaves. Ryssa raised her hand slightly, and began to lift Diana from the very ground, as she waited for the amazon to pass into unconsciousness.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

She piled the clothing and weapons, by using force pull. She did make the tiara fly to her hand though, using force pull.

Diana Prince

Diana was not one to go out without a fight. That was not her way. And so mere moments prior, she did a hasty move. She clashed those Bracelets of Submission together. Said move was a quiet, yet devastating attack, should it be successful. Said move would create an Energy Wave. One powerful enough to send people around her away from her. Perhaps it would work? Perhaps not? Maybe only a few would be sent flying. Her attempt was to reduce the people around her. The Energy Wave was not of the Force, so it might be successful. If only to a degree.

Energy Wave / GodWave

The Inquisitorium

Inquisitor Ryssa, the closest to the burst of energy, was hit hardest, and sent blasting backwards. But all of the Inquisitors were affected, most being knocked off their feet.

But they compensated, with astonishing acrobatic skill. Twisting their body’s mid-air, either by bracing against trees, or landing on the tips of their toes and fingers.

The Saberhunters, hovering in the air, had most of it repelled by their jetpacks, aside from that one over there, who slammed the hardest, up against a tree. The pack clattered, and he was thrown off a bit, forced to deactivate it, or fly out of control. Chaos Followed.

But before he even touched the ground, the Saberhunters had opened fire.

Of the twenty, five were armed with Heavy Repeaters, and they began to circle as they laid fire down upon her, covering the Inquisitors as they began to get to their feet.

Ten more had Flechette Launchers, weapons that shot nine explosive bolts at once. A few pumps of these specialized shotguns were also heavily joined with the Repeater Fire.

And lastly, three of the men were armed with Flame Throwers:

Emitting streams of flames at the woman. Diana Prince. The God-Killer.

The final two had Arc Casters. One of them was still struggling to his feet on the ground, but the other got the lightning-like bolt off with relative ease.

The Inquisitors didn't dare move into such a maelstrom of crossfire, instead simply maintaining the perimeter... waiting for the inevitable attempt to break through.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

She would raise a force barrier, to protect herself from the hit, out of pure instinct. As she attempted to use it as a rock, that would make the wave of energy, flow past her. It did for the most part but she still ended up hitting the ground and sliding across the ground.

Diana Prince

The attack had been somewhat useful. If only to buy her more time. Which was the main goal with its being used in the first place. Greatly outnumbered. Just like in the War of All Wars. Yet these were different, different weapons. If she were to be captured, she would not so without a fight. Most of the surrounding troops appeared affected. And so she drew her shield. Now there was a lot of fire aimed at her. Fire that she tried to block with her shield as best she could. Even the Bracelets could be used to block the shots, which she attempted to do. Unlike bullets though, these would not bounce off. This was blocking and not at all deflecting. The flamethrowers could pose a problem. And assuming she had been able to block some shots so far, she leaped into the air, drew her Sword of Athena, attempting to take down some of the troops that had opened fire. If she was able to take out the ones with guns, the melee ones would move in.

Wynonna Earp

Wynonna stood up dusting herself off. She saw Diana leap holding the sword. She looked at Ryssa waiting for orders

The Inquisitorium

The Heavy Repeater Fire continued to pound at Diana Prince, as she left her back unprotected, in her leap. And even during her leap would be likely pointless: as an Inquisitor caught Diana within the grip of The Force, and attempted to hurl her back to the ground!

Other Inquisitors reached out as well, their goal to keep Diana pinned there, even going so far as trying to immobilize her. At the very least... slow her down.

Inquisitor Ryssa did not participate. Merely watched. Observed. For They Did Not Have Orders To Kill Today. Inquisitor Ryssa raised her hand, and prepared to give the order to cease fire, only? Only the moment that Diana stopped resisting the Heavy Repeater Fire.

Diana Prince

Indeed. The fire would hit her at the back, even more so due to the leap, which left her back exposed. She knew that, too. At the time it had seemed better than simply standing there. The armor she had helped, though the shots still hit and so did the grip of the Force. One that hurled her back to the ground. More of a slam, really. One that created a smaller crater even. Was she slowed down? Yes. While a formidable fighter, there was not much else that she could do against The Force itself.

Even she was pinned.

Kara Zor-El

Kara was hearing the fight going on but alas, she was in a position to do nothing at the moment. While she had not left yet, she had to. To make sure Alex remained strong. That was not to say she would try and help Diana by doing something. Soon. But time was short. Everyone couldn't be captured today. One was bad enough.

The Inquisitorium

And as soon as Diana Prince was pinned, these were directed to her every location…

Blaster Bolts, Flame Throwers, Force Lightning, and Explosive Metallic Orbs.

They focused upon the lower half of her body, and upon her arms.

And still the Inquisitors waited, (for her injuries to be sufficient), for their tastes.

For Diana to be defeated.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

She would attempt to use a, Jedi mind trick, to make Diana want to surrender?

It might not work on someone as powerful as Diana: but what about an injured one?

Diana Prince

But it didn't stop. Even if she raised her shield to cover her face and upper body somewhat, it wasn't enough. No... Bolts, flames, lightning and everything else flew her way. And it was aimed on her lower half of her body. It all hurt. A tremendous amount. Diana screamed in pain as the various amounts of projectiles found their way to her legs. Once that were only protected halfway, due to her greaves. And that wasn't enough to stop the pain and injury. Diana was definitely pinned and in a no-win position, even if she would have like to believe she wasn't. Even if said, Jedi Mind Trick, might have worked? Diana was in no position to talk. Said attempt would be utterly pointless.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

Inquisitor Wynonna would yell to Inquisitor Ryssa. "Tell them to cease fire now! Before they kill her!"

Inquisitor Ryssa Stark

Inquisitor Ryssa turned her helmeted head slowly in Inquisitor Wynonna's direction as Diana screamed. She turned it back, agonizingly slowly, and then raised her hand, and curled it sharply in a fist. "Cease fire!" She called out, and it stopped. Inquisitor Ryssa stared down at the woman in the crater, shot full of holes, and likely, without the use of her legs. "Two options remain. Surrender, or die."

Diana Prince

Diana didn't exactly hear everything, over her own screams and the continuous noises of blaster fires of various kind. Even as they stop, she could still hear them. Little else was heard. And the pain was unlike anything she had ever witnessed. It felt hotter than any fire. Precise, yet burning. Her legs... She had to look to see if they were even there. Why? Because she could not feel them. Hell, it even looked as she was unable to move them right now. But she tried to use her arms in attempt to pull herself away from Inquisitor Ryssa, who was the one she saw. Deep, Heavy breaths were taken as she tried to but... no, she could not move. Not like this. What good would she be, if she if she couldn't use her legs? James was... somewhere? She didn't know where? If she knew, her choice would been much 'easier'. Kara would be safe. She had to go. Alexandra was safe. Two she knew, one she was unsure. Diana took a deep breath again. It pained her to even utter the words. More so than her own physical pain. Though at the same time, her own legs weren't felt. She could not feel them. ''... Surrender.'' The word was not said easily. It took a lot to even utter it.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

"Inquisitor Ryssa? Permission to heal her?" She asked urgently, her palms getting warm.

Inquisitor Ryssa Stark

Inquisitor Ryssa looked again at Inquisitor Wynonna, and then shook her head: No.

Her voice spiked with mild disdain. "Never question me again, girl. You only have my permission to strip her of her armor, her clothing, and her weapons. Then, Inquisitor Wynonna. You will take her to the Medical Bay, upon The Debaser: and place her upon a table for examination. Use your pendant to do so."

Kara Zor-El

Kara heard it all from where she was but could do nothing! Diana was even stronger than her, though it was up for debate. What chance did she have? To hear Diana scream and then surrender was...Painful. Kirk was taken and now Diana. ''... I'm so sorry...'' She whispered to herself as a tear trickled down her cheek.

Inquisitor Wynonna Earp

Inquisitor Wynonna decided that she would at least try to Give Diana the Decency of Stripping her Alone within the Medical Bay of The Debaser. So that the men wouldn't see her. If allowed, she lifted Diana, with her shield and sword. Then she disappeared to the Medical Bay, upon The Debaser.

Diana Prince

Diana could recover from this but to be stripped in-front of others? Her pride would never allow that. She would rather die than doing that. And while she didn't want the help, she was in no position to say anything.

The Inquisitorium

Inquisitor Ryssa stared at the ground for a moment, and then she shook her head. She scuffed her boot against the dirt, and then growled at her rage. She'd Failed, to Capture Danvers. She cast a glance first, in the direction of the Red Sun Inn, then up, at the awaiting shuttle, and right above that, The Debaser. "Strike Team! Head to The Red Sun Inn. Saberhunters. Head back home. I'll report to Grand Inquisitor D’Jak Speir Myself." And even before she did, she used the radio, and sent the communication, to Saber Hill.

Kara Zor-El

Powerless.

It was only Kara left, now.

The Last Daughter of Krypton.

Kirk and Diana had been taken/arrested/captured.

Kara was powerless to aid, Diana and Kirk. Powerless.

Alex was safe: But not from herself. Not from her own mind.

Kara took a deep breath, feeling the guilt and sadness. Powerless.

So much power.... yet she could do nothing.

She used her portal coin....Powerless...

Taking her to a specific location.
