Last night Daniel Plainview's forces swept across Hellifyno, destroying every city, town, and hamlet on the planet, wiping out whole populations and destroying nearly all natural resources. The god dictator claims that this is the first act in the creation of a new Plainview empire that will stretch across the galaxy.

Tuesday May 29^th was set to be a glorious religious festival celebrating the first day of the new Plainview calendar. The event was mandatory, and hundreds of thousands of obedient citizens shuffled into churches and cathedrals across the planet to worship their god.

At the height of the ceremony, Plainview made a public announcement that all citizens who ahd not attended a per-approved religious ceremony in honor of the event, were traitors, and were to be executed immediately.

Once this edict was issued, death squads began to sweep across the planet. Made up largely of cybernetically enhanced demons and heavily armored Tyroid enforcers, these armies began to systematically wipe out whole populations. They attacked every city, every town, and every village, killing all inhabitants who were not in church, and burning all structures to the ground.

These death squads also ranged out across the forests and oceans of the planet, and were able to harvest 99% of all trees, crops, plants, and animals on Hellifyno. They were also able to rake the oceans with nets, catching and killing nearly every living creature in the waters. This represented a nearly complete harvest and destruction of all of Hellifynos natural resources.

In a statement issued later that evening Plainview claimed that those killed were traitors. He further claimed that the resources harvested would be necessary for the expansion of his empire, which had already grown to a total of 9 planets.

He further stated that the capital of his empire would be on World's Crossing, and that effective immediately Luna White, the high priestess of his religion, would assume control of the planet Hellifyno, as its new empress.

Luna White's plans for the planet are not yet known, although many are speculating that she will embark on an ambitious rebuilding campaign that will involve paving most of the planets now charred surface, and replacing lost forests and fields with factories and manufacturing plants. This will of course help to fuel the Plainview regime as it stretches its influence out past the stars.

While last night represented an almost complete victory for Plainview, there is one location that seems to have resisted his attacks. In a bid to wipe out the Heroes of Hellifyno, two separate armies were sent to annihilate the Blue Moon Tavern, one led by Warchief Delilah, and the other by Augustus Giovanni.

The Heroes are reported to have fought valiantly, but were overwhelmed by odds of nearly 1000:1 until the intercede of the strange and mysterious creature known as Wyrd. One of the four principle forces of nature, this creature of change and chance was convinced to help through the machinations of Thak Four Eyes, former librarian of Hellifyno.

With the help of this power being the Heroes were able to drive Plainview and his troops off. But nobody knows how long that will last.

Will the Heroes be able to defend the Blue Moon Tavern?

Will Wyrd return if Daniel sends another army to destroy them?

What has happened to the rebel forces? Is Tye Sampson dead? And what of the refugees who must have escaped last nights horrors, where will they go?

Speculation is running wild but nobody knows what will happen next.
