Where Anyone is Possible
Victoria: -She sips her coffee and sighs, muttering to herself.- I don't get who it could be that would want to harm Annabell...
Annabell: -Annabell stumbles into the tavern and hugs her mom's legs, tired but still smiling.- Mommy, I think I'm not turning green anymore! -The poor girl has been trying so hard to get blobs of mold off of her.-
Victoria: -She tenses until she realizes who is gripping her legs, and she manages to smile at Anna.- Good, very good, Anna... Have you found your dragon egg yet?
Annabell: -Anna sighs and shakes her head.- Not yet. I don't think dragons like swamps... But if we get moved to an even lower level, I might find a helldragon!
Victoria: ... A helldragon? Oh dear, hopefully not one of those... Do you know what they do to little girls? -She grins mischeiviously and squeezes Anna's shoulders.- They like to gobble them up!!!
Annabell: -Anna is not fazed.- NUH UH. Not me! I will teach it to be good, and I will ride it!
Victoria: -She laughs, amused by Anna's confidence.- That's my girl, Annabell Rose, Helldragon Rider! But really though, be careful, and make sure that your path is chosen well. Dragons choose their riders, not just you choosing them.
Annabell: I know. A really nice lady told me so. Which is why if I ever find a dragon egg, I'm gonna make sure it's the right one. I just hope no big momma dragons will be guarding them. That will make it hard.
Victoria: -She raises an eyebrow, hoping by "really nice lady" she means the Time Drifter, and not some crazy lady that isn't Sassy. But she keeps on subject.- If a momma dragon wants to keep her eggs, you better let her keep them. Don't argue. I would attack anyone who would try to take you from me. A dragon is the same way...
Annabell: I understand. But if it's an abandoned egg or the momma died, the egg would need someone to take care of it anyway, so that might help me find the right one.
Victoria: That's a good girl... -She lifts Anna onto her lap and snuggles with her, giving a small kiss to her daughter's cheek.- And what do you think you'll name your dragon?
Annabell: I'm not going to name the dragon. Each dragon has its own name, and I shall use that. I know it's gonna be a baby, but it will probably still have a name for itself...
Victoria: -She laughs and hugs Anna tighter.- You pass my test, Anna... Ah, dragon names are so hard to understand.
((There are a few things I would like to point out:
One- Annabell is so freaking cheerful! She doesn't even consider the fact that things in a lower level of hell could be worse, just that there might be some hope there.
Two- Little Anna would be such an awesome dragon rider!
Three- Anna needs to consider that not all dragons are going to have riders. Many are independent, such as Xiu and Teery.
Four- Victoria has lots more to worry about then someone crazier than Sassy.))
