The Imperial Message Echoes / Calls To Recruit / (RSI)

Wynonna Earp

Wynonna walked in dressed in this, (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/450571137702187085/). After the few weeks she had spent away, meditating, on all her step father had taught her. Slowly feeling her leg heal, only having one eye of use. She had came back yesterday and had met with Hania, who had healed her of the pain. Her attitude had seemed to change, she carried a new air of confidence about her. Her light-saber hung on her hip for all to see. She didn't seem scared anymore, she had embraced what she had been taught and studied, since the age of thirteen. When her foster father had shown her, that he was a Jedi. She had no worries as she sat herself in the BBCT, (looking around), to see if anyone was there.

Ryssa Tsark

The message echoes throughout the inn: "Seeking the services of well trained, knowledgeable, or provably useful individuals, to serve under the banner of The Empire of His Majesty, Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Compensation will be immense, and any measurable service be honored a guaranteed place as a citizen in the Imperial Order." Followed by the coordinates of Saber Hill, the Inquisitorium outpost.

Wynonna Earp

"Huh I wonder if I could join?' She joked to herself, seeing as how no one was here, hmm no one was here, why? Was it because everyone hated her, Alex, Kara, Aleks, even Kirk just had her around. All he ever did was grill her for info and get angry. Maybe it would be a change for the better, honor, feeling like she belonged. Then the word compensation, maybe she could get peacemaker back. She went to where the sliver and oaken box were. She put the oak box into the silver one, after opening the silver one. Then said the magic word, "tentacles." The box vanishes into thin air. "Just have to get my stuff, she thought to herself. She went upstairs and packed, she barely had a duffel bag and set off towards the coordinates.

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk and likely Danvers were just walking in through the door, when he heard that message, watched Earp pack up her stuff with the case and then run up the stairs? Frowning. What the Hell? Kirk is already lost with what happened outside: everything happens outside, and dropped himself into the nearest bar seat at the counter. As for what he's wearing? The Blue Survival Suit. Emotionally? He's taken a nose-dive: no longer cocky.....

Alex Danvers

Indeed. Danvers would be there, right next to Kirk as they just walked through the door. Hmm. That message. Coordinates and all, too. It was the base. The bar would be the stop for now and so she occupied the seat next to him. While they could find the base, it would do little to no good.

Kara Zor-El

Kara was right behind the couple, having let them lead the way. The message had reached her ears too. That Sith base. On Hellifyno. Troubling news indeed. It had more than likely played before.

Christian

"So whose hirin'?" He said to the group of three as they entered. He wasn't entirely ignorant of the people behind the message, but he'd never been present for a full explanation, either. What he did know was that they were raising an army, something Kara, Danvers and Kirk seemed to lack.

Captain James T. Kirk

Sniffs. He even waves off his favored whiskey from Jerry, though his face is still emotionally torn up from the outside event, "....Only the Guy: who wants to see, me and Danvers, under his strict care. Figure that out", lets that sit, "And Dead", it was true....

Alex Danvers

Kirk said it. That was the truth. The Sith. The Imperial Army. Both. They were all still recovering from the event outside. Emotional. Very emotional. Danvers even nodded in agreement. By now Christian would be able to guess who the recruiter was working for. More so since Christian had been around for recent events and was one that paid attention, as far as she was aware. Strict care. Death. Both of them involved.

Kara Zor-El

Kara leant againsta nearby wall, folding her arms as she took a deep breath. Their enemy. One of many. Now recruiting. How many were singing up each day? So many lives being involved that didn't have to. The thought wasn't a pleasant one.

Christian

"Dun' really narrow it down.." As usual it was difficult to tell if he were speaking his truth, or being sarcastic with them. They often went hand in hand. But Christian could visually see something different in them, and wondered if it were related. "What's happened to you?" His eyes shifted between the three.

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk couldn't even put it into words. Maybe some heavier breathing, in an attempt to get something close to viable breaths? Sniff. Eyes wet. Words just weren't materializing for The Captain. So he just shrugged his shoulders, felt his wet eyes each time his eyelids close and mumbled out some unintelligible words....

Alex Danvers

Seeing him like this pained her. He was so far down and not all his usual self. As for what happened, well, she felt it was for Kirk to reveal. Kirk wasn't being himself. There was no laughter, no grins, nor anything. He was just feeling so low. Danvers wished there was more she could do. For now, all she could do was to be there for him. To support and comfort.

Kara Zor-El

''The recruitment is for the Sith.'' Kara revealed, though the other question was one she felt wasn't her place to say. It had been emotional, at least. All three had been there for it, though.

Christian

Eyes narrowed on Kirk for a full minute, studying him. The gaze lingered a while and then broke away. "Your enemy is stronger than ever. You, Kirk, are guna have to be the same." His eyes danced over Danvers and Kara once more, but clearly they were tight lipped. Whatever it was, it didn't have to matter now. It would later, though, he was sure.

Captain James T. Kirk

The Flicker. Not only was his Right Eye, now fully consumed in Yellow. But now his Left Eye, was starting to flicker yellow, as well. The longer he closed his eyes, the more it seemed to delay it's rapid progression. Pain: builds the Sith. He needs to literally bury, that pain, out of his own reach. How? How does he does bury this pain? Without burying: not only himself, but everyone with him? "How? Where? What Resources?", Federation, maybe? Maybe? "..I can't go back to Earth", shakes his head, "..Everyone will die", pauses, "I can't stay here. Everyone Dies", another pause, "I can't go to them. Everyone Dies"

Alex Danvers

There was always the plan. One he knew of. That one had resources that they could use. As for going back to Earth, that would indeed endanger everyone. As for the plan, they just needed the right moment to utilize it. ''They have greater numbers.'' That much was certain. ''And there is base here. On Hellifyno.'' Further proved by the announcement prior. The scenarios he brought were all true. No matter how they tossed and turned, lives would be lost. Just a matter of how many and who.

Kara Zor-El

They had also been given a general explanation of the base itself. In terms of defenses and troops stationed there. So they knew some things. The problem was that they couldn't do anything about it. Yet. There was of course a downside with waiting, too. That would mean even more numbers.

Christian

"Keep from it, then." Christian said flatly, referring to Earth, but without the usual air of indifference. He understood, and was even concerned. Earth, though, was more than his home. More than he could explain. It wasn't in his nature to plot behind the single being intended to kill at a time, but he was capable of it. And, to an extent, he's accepted each of them as allies. "Recruit soldiers of your own, then. It's always men lookin' for a fight. Among them, there usually some good ones, too. You could roll over, but I didn't suspect any of you were in that business." He was dangerously close to offering his direct help. Though, as a mortal, understanding little about the limits of his own power, what help would that be?

Captain James T. Kirk

Grunts. Kirk could almost suspect those words of being a DARE. Similar to Pike's DARE on the night of the bar house brawl. And he's in a damn bar now. Where the hell is Peter Star-Lord, anyway? "We're Pinned", did he say No Win? Sniffs. Staring off towards the almost inviting mirror, that can allow Kirk to see the who and the what behind him: Through A Mirror Darkly. Kirk shakes his head, and something of a foolish smile appears? Hot Damn. "...We have to", turning to Danvers: while he's still over the emotional barrel, "...Be.....", another breath, "Unpredictable"

Alex Danvers

Foolish smile was hot damn indeed. He had the best of foolish smiles. But... he was right. They were pinned, no matter what. No easy way out of this one. Yet there was a way. Always a way. They just had to find it. And her gaze fell upon him with his words. Be unpredictable. Something she kind of lived by, in a sense. And so she placed a hand upon his shoulder, gently so. ''We'll be unpredictable.'' It was a sound strategy. Keep your foes guessing. At all times.

Christian

"Unpredictable." He repeated quietly. A large part of him told him this was not his fight. That most fights weren't. The rest preached of Earth. He'd be damned if something which got his attention here, hurt home. "You had a look at them yet? The enemy. The more you can predict your enemy, the less they can do to you." He searched for words. "Have you employed a spy, yet, Captain?"

Captain James T. Kirk

Nods. That Left Eye is back to it's usual BLUE. "I got some basic information", which was true, "....3,000 of them", he nods, "..That's just for near Persistence", he says, "That's not even counting what could be spreading all over Hellifyno, that I can't even see yet", he says, "...If they've dropped an easy 3,000 men here? You can be sure that", frowns: when it really hits him; then his eyes closed once more, "..There might be another 3,000 on Earth that's already there, before they hit here?", how can he even go on speaking? "..Vulcan: Same?", the list invariably went on, "Exploratory Assessment Crews", then to Christian, "As for the.....", clears his throat, "...I may? Or I may not?", he stares at him...

Alex Danvers

''Yeah. 3,000 is what we've been told.'' Units. Troops. All armed. ''The base is also, supposedly, heavily fortified. Along with force fields.'' There was more, she was sure of it. Either way - it wasn't just a couple of foes. It was an army.

Kara Zor-El

''I could always keep an eye out from the skies whenever I'm out.'' Not really spy work. But more like scouting. Though she would have to be careful not to get too close to their base. Due to sensors and what have you. They most likely had those.

Christian

"Ah! I see." He said, nodding. A little of the seriousness seemed to have gone out of Christian as Kirk spoke. "This is not fight, Kirk. It's a war. Wars have a life of their own.." It made little sense as to why this calmed Christian. He was certainly cut from a different cloth from most men. He saw the world not as a god might, but certainly not like a mortal either. His eyes kept with Kirk's "Maybe I should see if they're lookin' to hire an old hunter. They got some kind'a...space-age requirement I'd needa know about? I ain't so good at Math." He said, taking a sip of his drink.

Captain James T. Kirk

More Blood. They may have? No. They fought each other, Day One. Now? To have this mans possible blood? More blood on his already weary hands. WAR. HANDS. Maybe Kirk's gone soft? Heaven-Forbid? Could it have happened? One would have to wonder? The War To End All Wars. But even that was a lie from Steve, to Diana, yes? World War II, happened: and so on? How could anyone guess with human lives? "...And if I order you? Not to put your life at risk, into that type of a situation?", Order away, Kirk...

Alex Danvers

This was, if she wasn't entirely mistaken, Christian indirectly saying he was willing to do spy work for them. Or that was the vibe she was getting here. It begged the question for sure. As for his comment about it being a war, he was definitely right. Or it would become a war, sooner or later. And it was leaning more towards sooner in this case. Not a fight. But a war. One no one truly wanted, aside from the Sith. ''As far as recruitment goes, there seems to be no real restrictions.'' Although she could be wrong there. Not to mention she was unaware of their dislike for aliens.

Christian

Kirk's emotions were at war with each other, Christian could see. Not because he saw something special, but because he had seen it in men, especially men of war, too often. He blinked. "Me? Kirk, I ain't no soldier. Yours the very least. I'd say about the best you could do there is order Kara to stop me. Aside from that," he glanced at Danvers. "There are no real restrictions."

Kara Zor-El

She was really strong, among other things. And so she was good at stopping people. And things. Like moving trains or things like that. Yet she had no idea what Christian truly was. And deep down, she had a feeling she didn't have to stop him. Had Kirk given the order though, she would have. ''Stopping things is something I'm good at.'' Kara smiled briefly. Though it also came down to who or what as well.

Captain James T. Kirk

New Respect erupted in Kirk, when he heard Christians Words. Did he want to have Kara do his dirty work for him? Not that, that type of idea pleased him: because it doesn't! No. But Kirk is nodding, then stretched his right hand out to shake the mans nearest hand, "...You know that I'd be going in there, if events were different?", cool narrowed eye formed, that right one. Mostly to hide the disease, and the other element of the action, was a force of habit. "...You're On", Kirk's grip would hopefully be surprisingly strong. Simply put: Similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger in his Prime. "I can't put into words how much I owe you for this"

Alex Danvers

Seems like an agreement had been made just then. Nice! So the vibe hadn't been too far off, then. Good to know. Having someone on the inside could and would prove most useful. And he seemed willing, too. Despite the fact they didn't know too much about their enemy. Then again, that was why they needed an insider in the first place. And so it kind of worked out on its own. ''Same here. We really appreciate the help, Christian.'' A faint, yet genuine smile formed as she looked at the cowboy. Or hunter. Whichever. It was the hat, okay?

Christian

He reached out and gave him a firm shake. "I understand. You can buy me a drink sometime. I can't promise much. Like I said, I'm used to the way things work on Earth, but..I read the Art of War, and I've been around a few times." He nodded to both of them. "We'll see what comes of it." He thought of something else, too. Something he kept to himself. Maybe Christian would recruit a man or two of his own.

Kara Zor-El

''I think you'll do great.'' Kara said reassuringly. More so because... well, she was generally a nice person. But also because just about any information would be useful at this point. It would be interesting to see what he would find.

Captain James T. Kirk

Firm Hand-shake returned, Kirk released Christians hand and dropped it down to the counter. "Unharmed", he says, "...That's what I want out of it", for those he counts as Friends, "...As long as that happens. I'm fine with it", Pike? He's probably already dead. Dad? He's got to be safer in Star-fleet, than he'd ever be here. Maybe, it was their best move for now? "...Just think of your safety", he's said that three times now....

Alex Danvers

Safety came first. They didn't want any of their allies, friends or family to come to harm here. Or worse. While the information was important, safety was even more so. Kirk was a very caring guy and it showed just now. How he said the same thing three times already. It was adorable, really. She couldn't help but smile.

Christian

Christian nodded. He understood what people meant by this, though he had virtually no idea how it was applied, because for Christian, the more he doubted, the less he could do. "Got it. Safe first." He lifted his glass, although he suspected he was the only one with one. "To health." and ironically finished what was left. For now, he'd go back to doing what he did second best. Then, go looking for a new contract.

Captain James T. Kirk

"To Health", Kirk confirms, but there was no glass, nor mug to lift? So? He raised his right hand as if he was holding a container and said, "...Live Love and Prosper"

Alex Danvers

Danvers nodded at Christian, since she had no drink either. And then she smirked at Kirk. ''Live, love and prosper.'' She repeated. ''Not bad.'' She could get behind that.

Kara Zor-El

Kara smiled. This was nice. A nice change from the usual trouble that happened. Like... every single day.
