The State of the Tavern(s) and Hellifyno

The planet of Hellifyno has been wiped clean in a brutal sweep by the forces of god-dictator Daniel Plainview. Every citizen that is not an active and devote worshiper of Plainview has been killed, every city that is not directly under his thumb has been wiped out, every forest has been leveled, the oceans have been swept clean of life, and all vegetation has been harvested to fuel the might and power of his regime.

Only a handful of small locations were able to resist his might. One of these is the Blue Moon Tavern,. A popular haunt for the Heroes of Hellifyno. Daniel Plainview did his best to wipe out this location, bringing two separate armies to bear against it. But ultimately his power was thwarted by the creature Wyrd, a member of the principle beings of existence, and one of the four most power entities in the universe.

Since then Wyrd has declared that the Tavern is hers, and his protection will extend over it for all time, resisting the might of Plainview and acting as a constant thorn in his side. Though the Wyrd does not seem to care for any other location or planet, she has influenced the Tavern itself, with tables, chairs, and even patrons noticing strange shifting... changing effects happening the more time that they spend there.

Because of this protection, Tye Sampson has declared the Blue Moon Tavern to be the main base of operations for the rebellion. He has brought over a thousand Hellifyno refugees that have been saved from Daniel Plainview, and has set them up outside of the Tavern, living in a town of shanty tents containing a wide range of Hellifynos indigenous species.

The shanty town consists of orcs and trolls, goblins and elves, vampires, and even mortal humans all living side by side. There are merchants who call out their wares, and blacksmiths tending to weapons and horses. There is even a thriving prostitution ring that has spring up in this new make shift town. And through it all are the rebel soldiers, guarding, watching, and waiting.

However in response to this Daniel Plainview has comissioned the creation of a Tavern of his own. Located in the capital city of Consequence, this is a lavish location, filled with luxury and delights. His hope is to outshine the Blue Moon by rewarding his servants with every pleasure and perk that exists on the surface of this world.

So for now, there are two sides, two opposing forces, two opposing taverns, all set to come to a head in an orgy of blood and conflict that may just tear this world apart. Which side are you on?
