"Barton, report to my office as soon as you can." Fury's voice echoed throughout the SHIELD helicarrier through the speaker system. Clint makes his way through the winding steel halls, making his way to Fury's main office.
Thor narrowed his eyes, his expression still solemn. He caught notice of Clint's disbelief, and attempted to put it to him as simply as he could."The Eternal Flame," He said, "Surely you may have heard of it."
*Turning her head quickly to the side hearing the commotion, frowns a little close to regretting her last words but not yet. Running to the edge where the commotion had came from and looks below, as soon as the one man was landing on the ground she leapt from the rooftop of the bank to land on the curb below and she ran over getting in between the man and the others* You know its cruel to kick a man when he's down.
(( Okay, that is just so fucking adorable. D'aww, my good man, d'aww. ))
He seemed to look past Clint's sunglasses, attempting to look him in the eyes. "Voices." He said. His face was so solemn when he said this, as if hearing voices in the night would end the world. "Voices whispering to me in my dreams, Eternal Flame."
"I could not sleep," He said, "For a great disturbance kept me from doing so." He had his suspicions of what Clint was doing, and 'moving in' was not one of them. When he finished speaking, he continued to stare at him, eyes unblinking.
Hayley looked up at him. "Clint Barton. What did Sean ever do to you?" She smirked as she looked at him. "Or are you just jealous? Jealous that he gets to spend more time with me..that I like him more." She grinned at him. "I see now! You're just jealous!"
"At last! Someone to talk to!" He thought, but where was he going in such a hurry?
Thor eyed him a bit curiously, but not before turning on his heel and following after him. "Hail Barton!," He called out, forgetting that there still might be sleeping members in the building, "Where might you be headed?"
The Eternal Flame. Flame, Eternal. On this particular Friday night, these words echoed throughout the Thunderer's mind. No matter how hard he tried, they continued to pound away, like a driving headache preventing him from sleep. He needed to get up and walk around. He needed to talk to someone. Anything. Just to get his mind off these infernal thoughts. Exiting his quarters, he clumsily shut the door after him, causing somewhat of a ruckus. That being done with, he made his way down the hall.
(I do, but you must know that I'm not much familiar with Marvel comics.)
*It has been a week since Jason had left Gotham City in pursuit of some rest... to break away from crime-fighting and all the deaths he caused. As a destination he chose New York, where the alien invasion was sighted few days ago.* [Aliens... were there REAL aliens or just a Government lies for the public?? Well, I'll try to find that out] *He rides a red-coloured motorcycle on a hight speed, driving inbetween the large number of cars in the road. When he stopped near a building, he spotted the vans but couldn't follow them, as he saw the heavily-armored guards.* [Well... it's all serious then. From where I can go in...] *He looked around, seeing no other option than his skill of acrobatics* [Right... the buildings... it's gonna be easy.] *The Red Hood left a motorcycle and walked into an alley, then used the grappling hook to climb on the rooftops and follow the vans by foot from up there, but seeing the guards are there too...* [Death? No... they are no criminals. Knock them out? Seems like a plan.] *Due to his intense training by Batman himself, and then by the League of Assassins, he easily and silently sneaked behind the guardsman, grabbed his mouth, made him to lose a grab on the gun by brutally breaking the bone of the hand, and then with an elegant, single hit in the skull he knocked the man out* [There. Now...] *He walked on the edge of the rooftop and saw a cargo hold* [For the God's sake... how the hell I'm going to sneak in there?] *It was all too hard for Jason, for two reasons.. it was a day, no shadows at all, and then he had no special weaponry and equipment with him*
