Cera
Well that certainly made it easier. No one was questioning where she was going. So, she opened that portal and stepped through, Malis would certainly be on the other side. She stepped through, pausing at the end of the green portal. There was no one in sight. The Succubus frowned deeply at this and stepped out, closing the gateway behind her. “Malis?” She called, those honey brown eyes looking around the room.
Malis Hayte

“I knew you would come here eventually.” She said as she stepped into view, unveiling herself. She had been standing merely two feet before the other woman but she had not seen her. Good to know that new trick had worked. “I had wondered what took you so long.” A gesture was given and four of her people stepped forward, grasping her arms and dragging her off. A fifth, a woman about the same height as Cera bowed low. Malis nodded and bade her to rise. From her pocket, Malis withdrew a mask, the same type as the one she had used for Kae. This was held. “You know what comes now.” The woman clenched her jaw and nodded. At a gesture from Malis, a dozen people stepped forward and proceeded to beat the woman into submission. Knives and sabers were used, just to make it look right. Malis held her hand up and everyone stepped back. Crouching, she attached the mask, ensuring it would not be removed except by she herself, not even the imposter could.
Satisfied, she rose. The others were dismissed and they bowed to the Emperor’s apprentice and left the room. Now for the best part. Closing her eyes, she composed herself, summoned that rage that always sat just below the surface. When she opened her eyes they were utterly black. Fingers were threaded into Cera’s hair and she summoned her own portal. Stepping through, she began the deception.
Malis Hayte
A smoky purple portal  opened feet from Kirk and she stepped through, dragging something  behind her. Her face was set in absolute rage. Her free hand held her  lightsaber but it was not ignited. “How dare you!” She spat at Kirk.  “How dare you send her?!” She threw what she had been dragging onto  the ground at his feet. “Do not send  anyone else.” Cera, or rather what remained of the Succubus lay before  him. She had walked into a group with Malis and she had been forced to  react. “LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!”
Captain James T. Kirk
More blood. More bodies. He’s nearly becoming immune to the deaths before him. One long breath ensued, though his right eye was now a perfect color of, “….It’s your saber. Your choice. Your decision to kill one of your own”,he says, “She left before I could stop her, which is usually the case with you”, he reached down to possibly get a hold of her arm, if that was allowed? “Let me treat her, Malis, before she dies?”
Cera
She was bleeding freely from wounds, broken bones had twisted her arms and legs. And she was not moving.
Malis Hayte
“I should have just killed you when he ordered me to.” She said in a poisoned whisper. “Maybe then, all of this could have been avoided. Yeah, do what you can. Save her. Tell her, if she lives, the portal will be blocked. She tries again, she dies.”
Captain James T. Kirk
“Would have. Could have. Should have. Get the hell out of my sight!!”, Kirk roared, grasping the girls arm: if only to use that portal coin to get back into the Inn…..Or would he be stopped?
Malis Hayte
A kick of her foot, as she was not far away, would try to knock that damn coin from his hand. If it worked, she would step closer still, the saber still in active. “Do not tempt me James. Remember, we hold Pike. I would watch your tone were I you. Unless, you wish me to continue my visits with him?”
Captain James T. Kirk
Not. A. Chance. Coin was retained within his grasp. Though his furious emotions have more than risen above the surface of his skin, and wandered with a purpose directly into his right eye.A Color. A seasoned color, which is not his own started to reside there. To get: comfortable, even. “…No. No more visits with Pike”, in such a way, they do have him cornered.
Malis Hayte
“Oh, now you are you going to be reasonable?” She said coldly. Her own eyes had changed, the whites had been swallowed by the black iris’. “By the time we decide to hand him over, if we do, he is going to be fully mine James. He will be at my feet by choice.” Her free hand lifted to touch his cheek.
Captain James T. Kirk
A color. A seasoned color. Yellow in Color. Never more bold in its presence than it was Now. Yet her touch held nothing for James. Nothing. “…What do you want from me?”, besides the obvious of course.
Malis Hayte
She laughed at him. “Always you think that…” Her hand grasped his chin and made him face her. “You know what I want. You kneeling before the Master. As he has said would happen. Just make it easier for everyone and do it.”
Valerie Natsu
Valerie rejoined Kirk’s table, algae colored hues staring between the Captain and Malis. “….”
Captain James T. Kirk
He’s not turned his head from her in the first place. It was more grabby grabby on her part. “…I’m not the kneeling type”, of course, there are some exceptions that he’s aware everyone knows about.”…So you’re shit out of luck in that department”
Malis Hayte
A look was throw at Valerie. Unless she had some defense against the force, she would find herself thrown from the table, away from them before she returned her gaze to Kirk. “You knelt for me. You do what he wants, everyone else is safe. Is that not a noble thing James?”
Valerie Natsu
Sure. Valerie totally flew, and was totally swung to a softer landing.
Captain James T. Kirk
When Valerie started to fly: Kirk extended his right hand, palm out in an effort to swing her over to a soft landing base! Would that happen? Maybe? As for Malis, he finally responded, *base using a force push!) “….Everyone else is safe?”, that got his attention, “…He wasn’t going to stop anyway, with one planet”, he tells her, “If you think he’s done with this one, you’re wrong”,lowering that hand down, “…He’s moving on from here to Earth, then onto Vulcan”, he informs her, “And then he’s going to get rid of you”, it was his precognition.
Malis Hayte
“Fine..” She said softly, a tendril of her power oozing over his skin. “How about this. You for Pike.” Malis smiled very softly. “Surely that would fit with your noble and oh so humble soul yes?” She ignored the part about her, he had already tried that tact.
Captain James T. Kirk
Kirk somehow knew that this was coming, all along: how could it not? Yet the tendrils just didn’t seem to phase him this time around. Nothing. “…I want to see Pike”, he says “…Now”
Malis Hayte
She shook her head. “No. That is not the deal. I can work this for you James. I would do it just for you. But I need your agreement before I speak to the Master.”
Captain James T. Kirk
Ideas, they tend to grow, however, “…Alright”, Kirk complies, “..Me for Pike. BUT?”, he says, “…You/HE, both of your Masters. Need to leave Danvers out of this. And the rest of my crew”, “Keep them out of this and return Pike…..Within a two hours”,
Malis Hayte
Again, she shook her head. “No. He would never agree to that. A straight exchange, maybe, but no more than that.” Though she wondered why he thought her second Master had anything at all to do with this?
Captain James T. Kirk
“He wants me, those are the Rules Malis. Book it back to your Master and tell him to, Make It So”
Malis Hayte
She laughed in his face. “I am not going to him with that.” She released him and stepped back. “Instead, I am going to see your dear Pike. He should have enough energy restored for another session of questions.” She turned away and walked to her portal.
Captain James T. Kirk
“Wait”, just one small word…
Malis Hayte
She paused and slowly turned, her face expressionless. “What?”
Captain James T. Kirk
“What day did you have in mind?”, he asked….
Malis Hayte
“I must speak to My Master and make the arrangements. I will be in touch.” She smiled a little sadly at him. “I knew you would find that noble part of you. That is the problem with being the ‘good guys’ you have to play by the rules.” Chuckling, she stepped into the portal and was gone.
Captain James T. Kirk
With Malis gone and sealing most of his fate to the above? Kirk knelt down to Cera, rested his hand on her arm and used the portal coin again: this time to the inside of the Inn, right next to the table… But was Cera still alive by this point? Or?
Cera
Her eyes fluttered a little and her eyes slowly opened. A soft groan came from her throat.
Captain James T. Kirk
“Yes”, as for what he was trying to hide earlier? That right eye? It was now a Perfect Yellow: through and through. And soon enough Cera would be taken to that infirmary!
Cera
The girl passed out again as they moved her but she would live…
Malis returned to her chambers, removing the bloodied armor. The Imposter would play her part well. They had a spy in their ranks, she had access to Kirk’s father. At her word, everything Kirk thought he had could be undone in the blink of an eye. Her laughter followed her to the shower. Though, she wondered what the Master would say to Kirk’s agreement to swap….. who knew….
