- My Story Is...
Kikimora, a female house spirit in Slavic mythology. Her role in the house is usually juxtaposed with that of the domovoy, whereas one of them is considered a “bad” spirit, and the other, a “good” one. When the kikimora inhabits a house, she lives behind the stove or in the cellar, and usually produces noises similar to those made by the mice in order to obtain food. Kikimory (in plural) were the first traditional explanation for sleep paralysis in Russian folklore.
Spriggan are Cornish fairies that come from a remarkably mischievous and thievish tribe. If ever a house was robbed, a child stolen, cattle carried away, or a building demolished, it was the work of the Spriggans. Whatever commotion took place in earth, air, or water, it was all put down as the work of these spirits. Wherever the giants have been, there the Spriggans have been also. It is usually considered that they are the ghosts of the giants; certainly, from many of their feats, we must suppose them to possess a giant’s strength. Spriggans have the charge of buried treasure. They can summon woodland creatures from the forests they inhabit. They spend most of their lives obsessed with their belongings and things of addiction, usually a stone or a trinket. They can only be killed if killed three times.
- My Appearance
Maori is a fine creature with a body of a human who often takes on animal characteristics from the forest she inhabited. She has creamy, porcelain skin with fiery red hair from both her Cornish roots and that of her Russian blood.
She has eyes that naturally change color based on not what she is feeling but of the location she’s within, standard color being lavender or blue. She is built voluptuously with an hour glass figure, child-bearing hips and pert, tear dropped breasts. Taller than most girls, she stands height/weight proportionate at 6″, weighing nearly 140 lbs.
- My Secrets Are...
Maori, despite her best intentions, has a mischievous nature at heart due to her parental heritage. She is something of a trickster and thief, often taking from places she visits and adding to her hoard of treasure. Unlike most cross breed creatures, she has the weaknesses of both parents, meaning she needs to be fed only by food given to her by others due to her Kikimora heritage and she is addicted to the comforts of coffee which also forces her to imbibe several gallons of it a day. She can only be killed permanently if killed three times and then she will die forever, never to be brought back again unless by someone who can control the dead.
Her powers are numerous:
Kikimora, also known as the Roman Lares –
Household and boundary control/Control over inanimate objects
