For as long as as history can recall, the venerable Wolven warriors who call themselves the Silverhide clan, children of Ogor the Wild, have lived in the northern forest of Halgan. A dense and isolated woodland with tall, blood red trees in the few months of summer, then coated in snow and ice for most of the year. Halgan is a magical place, deep, wild and untamed, protected by ancient wards of guarding. Within, the Silverhides live in exhausted Wolfstone mines, in treehouses, or more commonly, in the numerous clearings and icy glades. It is said that a panoramic view of the forest reveals that the clearings form a wolf’s head. The main clearing, called the Arishok, is the centre of Halgan’s power, home to the tallest and oldest Redwoods, the Oak of Sungmanito, and the mythic fountain of rage. The fountain is said to be the source of Silverhide magic and is surrounded by statues of fallen ancestors and paragons.
The Silverhides are native wolven warriors. They may take a homid and a wolven form, changing between the two at will. For much of Hellifyno’s history they have been embroiled in multiples wars at home and abroad, as their culture is a martial one, swiftly and consistently churning out some of the finest, most fearless warriors the planet has ever seen. Intense training begins from childhood and ends only in death. Beyond this information, little is known of the Silverhides as they are famousl secretive and bullish in their stubbornness. Few people have entered Halgan without explicit permission and lived to tell the tale.
