Hermes, one of the youngest Olympians. found himself bored and lounging on his throne. His throne had a gold high backed seat in the shape of a lyre with wings on the sides of them. The seat is ivory and carved to look like the bottom of a tortoise shell with a goatskin cushion. Finally the arm rests are each wrapped with a gold serpent and at the ends of them are rams heads. The Messenger twirls his caduceus between his fingers as he whistles tunelessly.
