æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

Anthem nodded and took Elesis from Gwen. She helped the woman over to the fountain, then carefully placed her within the waters. Probably around the time Elesis had something to say about that, her pains and soreness would slowly start to leave her body. She’d start to feel rejuvenated as these waters were blessed by the Lady of the Lake. “Atleast this next thing should be something of a fair fight.” The Scion took step to the side and started to wash her arms and face with the healing waters. Gwen’s first instincts were correct in this case.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Partner switch! “You’re strong.” Elesis mumbles blinking and looking at the nearing water. Oh, is it time for a dip? Man, how delirious she’s gotten in the past few minutes. “I hate water.” She mumbles making a displeased face before she was placed in, and it’s like everything just made sense all of a sudden. She didn’t feel so tired or sore. The pain was gone. Her mind is clear. Well, maybe her mind is a bit too clear. It was like a fog was lifted from her mind; a strange green fog laid their from a long time ago. Man, it felt like being reborn or something. “Oh shit!” She exclaimed splashing a bit and slipping some. “Man, I haven’t felt this good since… Well, ever!” Guess all her scars from past battles are now gone as well. That’s good. “Can I like, take a bottle home or something?”

Gwen Poole

“…Oh, so the fountain does the healy-dealy. Rad.” And so Gwen went up and dunked her head in, then tossed her head back and let the water run down her back. “Ahh… That’s refreshing.” Sitting on the edge of the fountain, she looked around some more. “So we’re probably going to the top of this place, huh, in order to complete this whole thing? I think we can manage that, if we get to come back and refresh in this fountain after.”

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

The Kishimoto woman enjoyed the feeling of the blessed water against her skin, and it would seem her Gaian arm would too as it shimmed a bit underneath the bandage. “I doubt it’ll keep its potency outside of the spirit world. But you should ask our fair Lady next time she chooses to present herself.” She answered the redhead, glad that the water seemed to be doing its job well. “Yeah Gwen. Swords at the top. Creation only knows what’s between us and there, in which we have to solve without modern weapons and such.” She sighed, what a daunting task that laid before them. “If we can, yeah. But spirits aren’t like mortals so you cant expect our logic here and think they’ll let us move back. They might. They might not..”

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

4/25 00:25AM

She sighs and shrugs. “That lake lady didn’t seem to care for me that much, so I doubt she’d let me have magic heal everything water.” She chuckles running a hand through her wet red hair, but then, she frowns as she thinks of things; things that have nothing to do with the current quest, but important to her nonetheless. Still, she’ll have to worry about that later. She should stay focused. “Well, I doubt I’ll ever understand this spirit world, so let’s get what we need to do done and return. If it’s up we go, it’s up we go.” She rolls her shoulders taking her sword back from Anthem or wherever she laid it down at. “Don’t want to keep all the tests waiting, now do we?”

Gwen Poole

“I’m expecting more people to fight, maybe traps. That’s what places like this tend to have.” She spoke as if she knew what was ahead… “That’s MY guess, anyway. I doubt it’s a party upstairs.” She felt a little bummed out that maybe they couldn’t come back down if they got too beat up. “That’s kinda lame, if we don’t get to freshen up after getting our butts kicked bad, which I’m sure will happen, just based off the fact we’re not, like, as wicked cool as you, Anthem. At least I’m not.” Still, she stood up and nodded. “Yeah, Elesis is right. Shouldn’t do too much putting this off, huh? Onwards and upwards, I say!”

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

The trio of women ascended the short staircase up a partial level until they stood upon the wooden structure. There was a fairly large hole in the middle of the floor, with three long beams about 2 feet wide connecting this side of the platform with the other side where the revolving staircase ascended to the second level of the Tower. On this side of the platform sat two creatures in a meditative position. There was a Tiger and a Leopard, both humaniod, and both had their legs crossed and their hands pressed together while wearing similar martial arts gi.

Welcome to the first level.” The Tiger stated without moving or even looking at them. “Congratulations on making it passed the Guardians.” The Leopard said right after. Now they both opened their eyes to see the trio of women. “I am Mistress Tigre. That is Master Leopardo. We’re are here to issue you this challenge. The rules for this floor are simple, get passed us to the other side and you succeed. Simple right?” They both got to their feet, the Mistress pulling out a pair of nunchakus while the Master a pair of sai’s.

Wellmet. I am Scion Anthem.” The Kishimoto warrior responded with her traditional bow. From there she procured a simple kunai from her blonde headed companion. Then she looked to her party, then the beams. “Perhaps divide and conquer wont be the answer here.” Experienced crimson orbs went over the animal martial artists, the way they each took a ready stance and waited proved they were definitely quite skilled. <e>

Gwen Poole

“Getting past people seems to be the general idea to these first few levels, huh…” Gwen had to take a deeeeep breath. She exhaled slowly through her nose as she pulled her ninjato shortswords from their sheathes again. Well, time for another ass-kicking, it seemed. No more distant relatives of Anthem and big chonky giants… Now it was Kung-Fu Kats with really badass looking weapons. Gwen bowed a little as well– and that’s when she noticed the beams and the hole in the floor. How did she miss that?! She’d been too busy trying to quantify cat people, that’s how. So, mental recap – fight kung-fu masters that were also feline humanoids… potentially on or near beams over a hole in the floor? Or… “Uhhh… Hey. Question, before we get started… Are we allowed to go downstairs to get some of that really nice and friendly healing water after we’re done, or do we need to just… soldier-on if you kick our butts, but we still win?”

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Up they go to the next level, and soon they’re standing on a wooden floor with a nice size hole between them and the other side. Looking, she sees the three beams connecting to the other side where two animal people sat. This is going to be interesting. “Man. Giant, relatives, and now cat people with holes in the floor. Ya know, I hear cats land on their feet all the time.” She mutters to herself a bit rambling for no reason for a bit until the animal people start talking. She looks at Anthem and Gwen and bowed her head out of respect. “Elesis… Elesis Sieghart.” Why not add her last name? No reason not to. Anyway, she falls quiet then looking to Gwen asking about the healing water, then, she starts looking over her own scimitar checking for any damage before they actual get this party started. Fighting cats over small bridges doesn’t sound easy at all; especially trained warrior cats.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

Tigre smirked at Gwen. “There is a fountain on every level. If you are able to make it to the next level that is.” She twirled her twin weapons a bit in a display of both finesse and skill that was designed to possibly intimidate the pink combatant. “Hello, Elesis Sieghart. Scion Anthem.” Master Lepardo acknowledged the other two.

Okay.” The Scion armed herself with the dagger in her left hand, pointed downwards. She kept her right hand open, poised ready to defend and strike. “I’ll go after the mistress. You two the master, try to stay as close as possible. If these are practitioners of the animals styles that they are, then they are likely to employ the iron fist technique.” She didn’t mean the glowing hand kind, but the type of reinforced iron like skin of a hand that has punched an ironwood tree until they broke through. “Be wary of solid strikes. Stay close. Don’t try to the hole yet.”

With that Anthem moved in on one of the two martial arts masters, started with a dagger feint only to try and land a solid hit with her Gaian left arm. <e>

Gwen Poole

“Ohshit. Uh, I’m Gwen. Sorry, forgot to introduce myself.” Once Anthem gave her ‘orders’, Gwen nodded. “Got it. You and me, Elesis, we’re the Dream Team! Let’s do it!” She offered her a fist-bump, and then moved forward herself, trying to keep what Anthem said in mind. Be wary of solid strikes, stay close, no hole yet, iron fist technique… whatever that was. Probably not what Gwen immediately thought of, because that’d be nuts. Giving her ninjato a tiny bit of a flourish, Gwen decided to take a literal stab at Leopardo, trying to put his name out of mind as she came at him so she wouldn’t giggle and come across as disrespectful. She came in at him with one blade coming in for his midsection while she readied the other to parry. And immediately after, she tried to get well out of the way so Elesis could strike, but not too far away to where she couldn’t follow-up whatever Elesis did that left her a window of opportunity!

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Game plan, huh? Pretty much the same thing as before. Her and Gwen takes on one while she takes the other alone. They get the leopard guy. “Lepardo.” She mutters wondering where that name came from. Call her Redheado. Anyway, Gwen wants to fist bump. Why not? Elesis bumps the other one’s fist chuckling a bit. “Dream team.” Though, she’s used to going in solo a lot, but having Gwen there didn’t bother her much. Gwen’s already charging though without laying out any strategy for this fight. Well, hopefully neither of them gets hit by an iron fist. She’d like her ribs and insides to not go crack. So, without wasting anytime and helping her partner, she’s quickly moving herself holding her blade to the side; the curved edge facing behind her as she brings her arm across her chest and does a wide horizontal arc slash if Gwen was able to move out the way and distract the Master hoping to let her blade slash across his chest.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

You must have some skill..” The tiger mistress responded as she barely blinked at the dagger flourish, moving her head back ever so slightly as her own left handed weapon came up for the block. “Venturing to take me alone.” Tigre stepped forward with a right stab, then a left, then a follow up knee that had the Scion parrying the sai strikes with the dagger while lifting a knee to block the tiger. Anthem didn’t chose this path for some grandiose show or testiment of skill, rather she thought this the most advantageous to get everyone to the next level with the least amount of injuries.

Master Lepardo flourished his nunchaks at the incoming ninjato from Gwen, the hardened wood making contact with her sharpened blade to turn it aside. Shifting and turning slightly as the leopard was able to strike Elesis’ weapon as well to knock it off course as he twisted away just out of the dangerous area of where she could have hit. He continued the momentum, aiming to knock the blonde one in the side of the head, as the same time with a back kick to the redhead’s left knee. <e>

Gwen Poole

The hard wood came right at Gwen’s head, but it was just in her peripheral for a moment enough for her to pull back at the last minute– and get cracked in the bridge of the nose instead. “FUUU–! OW!” Goddamn, that hurt! That was gonna bruise, that was gonna BRUISE. That could’ve been her eye! Or it could’ve been lights out. All the same, it hurt. But Gwen could work through pain, because she didn’t recoil; instead, she slashed at the shoulder of Leopardo. Those nunchaks had to be dealt with. Maybe if she got him to drop his weapons, they’d stand a better chance.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Damn! She feels the hard wood slap her sword knocking it off it’s course which in turn, causes her to stumble at the shift of momentum, but she’ll just have to improvise the fall. As always, she didn’t have the luxury to worry about Gwen’s safety as she worried about her own. She let her feet simply fall from under her while turning her body to the side. Her idea was to make that incoming kick miss her knee by moving her legs backward while also turning to keep that foot from connecting to any part of her body landing on her back on the floor with an “Oof.” Luckily, Gwen didn’t back off leaving her exposed to an attack allowing her to roll a bit more away and rise to her knees and get up spinning her blade and rolling her neck watching Gwen try to attack the man’s shoulder. Well, that’s an idea. She sighs and move back forward following to the side aiming a downward slash at the Lepardo’s other shoulder. Though, this time, she expected to get her attack repelled, and if that does happen, she’d shoot out her left arm in an attempt to grab the wrist of the Master and kick with her right knee aiming for his gut.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

The next flurry of movements was in rapid progression, much like chess masters going at it in the beginning of the game. Anthem tried here, there, and everywhere to get a stab or a slash in, only to be met or parried by the blade-catching sai. In return mistress Tigre stabbed at the Scion with her other weapon, missing somewhat but there were a few pokes landed against her right arm in various points. At that last attempted stabbing by the tiger Anthem caught her by the wrist, then flipped her in an over-the-shoulder throw! Tigre landed on her back with enough force to splinter the wood a bunch, giving the Scion the perfect chance to transition into a disarming arm-bar.

After making contact with Gwen’s nose Lepardo would use the rest of the momentum to catch the weapon underneath his arm. But when his kick didn’t connect he knew that he’d soon be flanked by the two women and needed to keep them both in front of him to keep his advantage. Before he could enact his plan, Gwen came at him with a slash to his shoulder; so in response the leopard would meet the blade with his normal closed fist. The pink one would now know what Anthem meant as her sharpened ninjato would bounce off of his hand like it was a rock. But in that time Elesis was able to land a solid cut on him before he reacted with a quick spin-kick to the side of the redhead’s gut! Flailing his nunchakus at Gwen with the idea of pushing her back and keeping her there. <e>

Gwen Poole

“Holy–” Well. New plan! Plan. Plan. No plan, just fight! He was flailing at her, and all she could do was step back and keep her guard up for a moment! Which was likely what he wanted. Already she was trying to start that motor in the back of her mind that would tell her what the hell to do in this situation. What to do? What to do? WHAT DO, GWEN, WHAT DO?! “YA!” Block a flailing nunchak, Gwen with one sword, and then slash/stab at his inner arm at the same time, and probably be prepared to get clocked upside the head… unless Elesis did something maybe smarter to prevent that.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

A slash. That ought to begin to slow him down a bit, but he’s a master, so such things will only slow him down a bit since it’s far from a lethal blow. That’s when that leg comes for her side, and Gwen is far from helping her in this situation. Why are these guys so good at multitasking, but that’s also where they’re advantage should lie.He can’t apply full force to his attacks like this, can he? And, Elesis is not a simple push over. Taking the back foot of a giant to her whole body is way different from taking a trained kick from a martial artist. This isn’t her first time taking such kicks either, so it shouldn’t be that surprising when both arm locks around that leg when it connects to her side. “Damn!” She yelps out feeling her gut yell throughout her body causing her to flinch and wince some, but then, she takes a hard step lifting her other leg and pulling it behind her as she drops her sword grabbing onto Lepardo’s leg to give her more control over the situation as she spins. This wasn’t a move that would bring them victory, but it is a move that will get the Master away from her and Gwen to allow them both the time to try and catch their breath. Though, Elesis releases Lepardo towards the hole in the floor. Maybe she’ll get lucky and throw him through it, or maybe this whole move wouldn’t even work. Still, it’s an attempt, and an attempt that’ll probably keep Gwen from having her skull caved in.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

There was a loud growl from the tiger as she tried to fight the grapple, but the Scion’s speed, strength, and proper application of force wasn’t something the mistress was ready for. The left handed sai was dropped, quickly followed by a soft popping sound as Anthem pulled the creatures arm from its socket. With a quick flip up to her feet, the Kishimoto warrior overlooked her opponent with a new weapon in her Gaian hand. Sparing a moment to look over to her team and see their status, Mistress Tigre back flipped up onto her feet and landed on the very beginning of the center beam; savagely popping her arm back into place. <e>

Keeping the blonde at bay for just a moment seemed to be all that he could do. Only because, by surprise, he underestimated the redhead who was able to catch his well-timed kick. That forced Leopardo to remain balanced on a single leg as he had to stop his flailing movement and regard Gwen while fighting Elesis to remain upright. All he could do was block most of her blade with the length of wood, receiving a few pokes to his hand before succumbing to the redheads throw and being launched towards the hole! He too landed on top of the beam to the far right, using his tail as a counter balance as he eyed the three girls carefully. <e***>

Gwen Poole

“…Well. We made him jump… away from us?” Gwen panted gently. That was less strenuous and more stressful. She had more of a nervous sweat worked up than one of exertion, given the brevity of their exchange. Still, as she saw him land on the beam to the right, she had to really ask herself… was she about to try that? And the answer was… no. She was not. Nope. There was being able to maybe handle a bunch of faceless grunts, then being able to take people by surprise, and also barely surviving encounters against superior foes… and Gwen had done literally none of that while also trying to maintain balance. She imagined her career as a mercenary and champion would’ve ended a loooong time ago if it was about moving her own body while trying to maintain her balance while also fighting. She didn’t have the core strength for that. So… now she was considering just trying to find some way to get past Leopardo, literally, and get to the door without having to fight him. Or maybe she could get him to come back to her and beat him on more solid, wider, less balance-necessary ground? Because skateboarding was one thing, especially when you didn’t do any balancing tricks, and this was another. “What? I thought you were a cat, not a chicken. Get back over here!” Yes. A taunt. That’s all she had.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Pain. She successfully made some space between them, but the price was her side, and her gut is not happy. She has one eye open wincing in pain as she places a hand on her side. “I swear Gwen. Let me catch my breath first.” Elesis isn’t thrilled either about having to fight the cat on a small walkway; especially with her side hurting like it is. That’s too much of a disadvantage for her. Gwen is probably no good in such a situation either, so Elesis likes the idea of getting the guy back on a more easier to traverse area, but right now, Lepardo chooses the fighting area since neither of them can force him off of there. “Try throwing something.” Elesis mutters, though, missing will have Gwen losing her weapons permanently probably. They just have to do something though. And, Elesis doesn’t want to get herself broken again like against the giant.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

Now that… Would be tricky. Even for Anthem as she looked upon the two cat combatants as they stood between them and the path forward. It wasn’t that she couldn’t fight while keeping her balance, but the Scion feared that she might have a bit outmatched against the mistress in that specific battleground. It would seem that her party had forced their opponent back as well, both of them intending to try and take the advantage from them

Elesis. Gwen. I have an idea. It’s kinda…unorthodox. But it should even the field a bit. Cover me.” She moved over to the redhead and had her hold her two weapons. Then without warning she dashed towards Tigre and Leopardo, who at the same time moved back a bit as they tried to lure the Scion on the beams of wood. But instead of getting on, she held nothing back as she hit the thick wooden walkway with a loud crack!<e>

Gwen Poole

Try throwing something? TRY THROWING SOMETHING?! Gwen had absolutely not at all thought of that. At all. “…Oh yeah.” She had kunai! They were made for this! And she had a bunch. She could absolutely use them. Maybe she should make dagger-throwing her compensation for not having guns? She pulled two from her belt, and as Anthem told them to cover her, she tossed both of them right at Leopardo, aiming for center mass! If they hit, good. If they distracted him, also good. Both? Even better! But unlikely.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Uh. How is Elesis suppose to cover Anthem holding onto the weapons like this? Well, guess this is the moment where they rely on Gwen and her kunai. Go get em blondie! Though, Elesis wondered what Anthem had planned, and soon, she figures it out. Is she trying to break the walkway? Force them off of it? Maybe she’s just trying to make them lose balance. Either way, Elesis liked the idea and new only Anthem would have been able to do such with her immense strength. She smiles, but winces as her side acts up. Why is she the one who gets hurt the most in these situations?

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

Anthem’s balled fist crashed against the walkway, causing it to crack and shake. The leopard was keeping his balance on this one and now realizing the Scion’s plan few options were left to him as he struggled a bit to keep balance. As Gwen tossed her kunai’s at him, Anthem had struck the thick beam again and splitting it down the middle. The spirit jumped and avoided the first one while catching the second in his free hand as he landed in front of the mistress. He wasted no time in tossing the weapon and sending it back to sender viciously, sprinting at them on all fours for a moment as he dared to rush the trio of them with ferocious intent.

Gwen Poole

The kunai sailed back at Gwen, who incidentally was so curious as to what Anthem was doing, that she didn’t at all see it. It struck her in the shoulder as a result, and sent her back. “GAH! OHHH… Oh… wow.” Yup, Gwen, that’s blood! And a fair amount of it, too, since she’d decided wearing her M.S.F. jacket as protection would be a bit cheap, since she hadn’t been allowed guns. And now she wished she’d just been cheap. “W-well… Now I’m kinda… angry.” She pulled the dagger free and tossed it on the ground, and rushed forward at Leopardo herself! Not the smartest thing to do, but all the same! She stabbed forward towards him, but not at arms or chest this time, but right at his right leg, to try and bury the tip of the shortsword in his thigh, while the other one swiped at his stomach.

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Oh shit. Anthem is smacking the hell out of that walkway and breaking it too. Of course, those two Masters weren’t going to let that slide, and Lepardo proved that by throwing back the dagger right into Gwen. Elesis wanted to help, but she winced as she tried to move falling to a knee. “Crap.” She muttered forcing herself up and growling. Gwen, then, showed quite the ferocity suddenly. Huh, Elesis didn’t think the blond capable of such recklessness despite the woman being reckless this whole fight. “Can’t let her… have all the fun.” She mumbles taking the weapons Anthem gave her into each hand only knowing how to use the sword, but the sai didn’t look to difficult, and she moves forward pushing past the pain in her side right behind Gwen to tried to stab Lepardo wherever she can.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

The right walkway was no more as the wooden splinters rained down into the abyss after the Scion’s last strike, her attention shifting quickly to the incoming kunai just as it sunk into Gwen… The leopard pressed his attack forward and aggressively, and surprisingly Gwen was just as aggressive! She saw as the master would intend on getting on two legs and taking the stab as he intended on extending his claws and tearing into the pink one. So in three quick movements did the Kishimoto close the distance alongside Gwen; kick the kunai covered in blood up in the air, and follow up kicked it directly into Leopardo’s side. Which completely threw him off guard to take the Avenger’s stabs and swipes. But using this opportunity did Tigre jump off of Lepardo’s shoulder and come barreling down on Elesis with a flying high kick that would be accompanied with a second kick if the first one was caught.

Gwen Poole

A brief retreat was had on Gwen’s part as she pulled back. Just to see, just to assess Leopardo’s guard now. And with all the pain she was in, it was too hard to do, so she leaped at him again. Another slash she aimed to cut across his front, and then another stab, this time into his side, right next to where the kunai dagger had struck him! And… she raised the other ninjato just to take a swipe at Tigre as she came vaulting off of her partner. Probably not going to hit, because she was just too damn fast, and headed right for Elesis! Goddammit, this would be so much easier with guns!

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

She has to help. What a wild battle going on over there, but she’s limping as she tries to reach them, and it leaves her a lost duckling ready to be swooped down on, and that’s exactly what’s happening. Though, when has Elesis ever been truly helpless unless beating in an extreme way like being dropped kicked by a giant? Aye. She’s one to take challenges head on, and she’s one to bite back just as hard. She sees the coming Tigre, and she’s not going to let herself get beaten down so easily by the oncoming kick. At that moment, she smiles quite widely as her foot comes down hard causes her to wince, but her body is in the process of turning. She’s not turning to dodge though as she drops the sword and raises her arm as that foot lands against her arm forcing it into her face, but while spinning, the cushion of her arm is enough to increase her turning momentum despite the pain as her other arm comes up quickly with the sai pointing upward. If nothing goes wrong, instead of another kick coming her way, Tigre will find the sai buried straight through her extending leg right under her knee and protruding between the cartilage. Since Elesis is spinning as well holding the sai tightly, as she spins, she rips her arm sideways to hopefully tear the sai through her cartilage more ruining the connection between her muscles and bones within her knee to render that leg useless. Of course, this causes Elesis to spin wildly afterwords falling onto the ground with a nasty bruise on her arm and chin, but she may have disabled one of the Masters.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

The master would receive a few well placed strikes including that of the kunai that he had thrown back! Gwen tried to cut him in the front, but he was able to knock aside with his nunchaku. She stabbed him though, so in response he darted to the side and back onto one of the remaining walkways. The Scion took this moment as an opening and vaulted forward like a missile, taking two steps on the platform and one fearlessly upon the tight beam as she delivered a full blown haymaker to the side of his face! And while Gwen tried to take a swipe at the flying tiger lady, she would use her remaining sai to parry. Tigre kick landed against the redhead who managed to block in time, only for the redhead’s response is to stab her in the knee with her own weapon! “Bitch!” The warrior growled, falling back to land and hobble a bit before her ruined leg remained lifted before her, hands shifted into a more aggressive style as Tigre moved to claw at Elesis and Gwen at the same time with her iron hands.

Gwen Poole

Leopardo had retreated, with Anthem hot on his tail, it seemed, and now Tigre had her full attention on Elesis, who had dealt a rather nasty blow, and Gwen. Keeping Anthem’s advice in mind about those iron hands, Gwen brought her ninjato up to parry the claw that came at her, but also stabbed the second of the shortswords right at the uninjured leg that the tiger lady was still standing on, hoping that at the very least if she couldn’t stand, then she could fight, either! Unless she was badass enough to fight while doing some kind of one-handed handstand? Noooo… that would be… insane to see. And unlikely. Right? Right? God, she hoped so, that’d be both too cool and too scary to win against. Just go down, cat lady!

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Face pain. Why is she so reckless at times just to land hits on enemies that are out of her league at times. Well, she’s always been like that. She’s always been taking hits to prove how tough she is. It was the only way they’d respect her, and now, it’s always a part of her daily life. This high risk high reward way of going about things. She’s going to get herself killed one day, but today is not that day. Besides, she isn’t as hurt as some may think, and she’s already rising despite her pained side, arm, and cheek. She spits some blood to the side and notices she has the sai still in her hand. Gwen’s here with her at least, and Elesis isn’t going to let her fight alone charging, slowly, but charging none the less only moving her left arm since the right one seems a bit too bruised to move quickly enough to keep up with the Tiger Master swiping and stabbing with the sai to support Gwen’s openings while Gwen is more aggressive aiming to knock the tigress off balance.

æ Scion Anthem Kishimoto æ

There was that dangerous right cross that Anthem had delivered at just the right moment to spawn a rather loud ‘crack’ as Leonardo was sent end over end off of the beam of wood they stood on and crashing, headfirst, into the other beam of wood with a loud ‘thump!’ Only to ragdoll slide off of the walkway and gone into the abyss. As that happened she turned to see the mistress in her injured state trying to strike both of the women at once. Gwen knocked the claw intended to cut her off target. So in response Tigre jumped back as she was cut and stabbed by the two girls, falling over and scurrying backwards until she hit the beam of wood in which the Scion already stood. “Okay Gwen. Elesis. I think we’re good to cross now.” Anthem stated victorious as she kept guard over the mistress.

Gwen Poole

“Are we? Good. Because–” She was shaking, apparently, her hands, as she sheathed her ninjato, and then looked to Elesis. “I’m… like… Ow…” She staggered a little, putting a hand over her wound. The dagger and struck her DEEP, and she was sure that all her reckless movement had only done her worse in. And what about Elesis? She looked to her. “And she’s, like, oww, too. C’mon, Elesis, I got ya.” She offered a hand to her. “Let’s get on with this. That thing you did? Messing up her leg like that? Like… whoa.” She was in pain, Gwen was, but all the same… Hot damn, that was… kinda cool? They didn’t do that bad? That’s what it seemed like!

Elesis (Mystery) Sieghart

Good to cross? That’s good news, and it causes her to sigh tiredly. She felt so refreshed earlier, but now, she’s ready to just lie down and close her eyes for a bit. “Y-Yeah.” She mutters looking to Gwen and frowning seeing the other physically shaking. “I am ow.” She notes nodding her head before giving Gwen a small relieved smile; blood leaking from her mouth due to her cheek having been cut open from the inside. No doubt her jaw bone is also somewhat damaged. She sighs and looks at the hand but shakes her head dropping the sai and steps away to her dropped scimitar lifting it up. “It’s fine Gwen. I can still walk good enough.” Though, she’s pushing herself a bit. She got kicked in the gut hard, and her legs are wobbling a bit. Still, she won’t be downed like last time against the giant. She’re stronger than that. Besides, Gwen thinks she’s cool. Now, that causes her cheeks to turn a bit warm which isn’t entirely because it’s starting to bruise and blood is flowing through it a lot. This reminds her when she returned home from expeditions or saved a town from something and the kids would corral around her cheering her. “Let’s get a move on.” She says limping along towards Anthem and crossing keeping her eyes somewhat on the Mistress as well to make sure no funny business occurs.

You are good.” Tigre stated. “I yield and admit defeat. As a reward, your party can have our weapons.” The tiger spirit willed back both the nunchakus and sais(possibly from Elesis.) to hand them to Anthem who looked over her. Then the spirit disappeared, leaving Anthem the ability to slightly limp over the pillar and too the other side. This power that she recently obtained, the one of Qi, she had yet to properly work the energy into her bones and muscles. But that was okay as the spirit water healed her from any damage really, as it did before. “She said there’s another healing fountain on the level above. So we should be okay again soon. That was something else guys. We got this tower in the bag. Just.. Elesis… You gotta be more careful.” The Scion offered, then lead them up the revolving staircase.
