Siclides the Nonexistence
01:06AM
Sic of course would arrive sitting in the corner humming to himself as he tapped a finger on his cup.” Seems even my brother is skulking about you Zaire.” He would say as he looked over to her.” Best not to upset him…your little stunt with the heroes last night put the family in a rather bad mood…..well besides Gale .”

Zaire
01:09AM
Zaire smiled. “Oh, thank the gods. I was worried about you.” She fidgeted a moment, glancing back to Ash. She’d have to address that, wouldn’t she? And before she could speak, she froze. There was no flicker in her eyes as they remained that bright blue color. She turned to Siclides. “Yes,” she said evenly. “Your brother did visit me earlier.” She folded her arms and stood as tall as her 5’6 frame would allow. And this “Spirit” wouldn’t allow her to show that same fear Zaire normally felt. She walked to him, as she knew was expected. “And, let me guess, I’m to be punished for getting involved?”

Emra
01:10AM
Emra heard the voice and she knew who it was without looking.

Unkindled Ash
01:11AM
The Unkindled’s eyes immediately turned wide when he heard an all too familiar voice. Siclides. Seems like he had finally managed to stay long enough for the being to show itself this time. He also took notice of the strange slime getting at his leg. He reached his hand out to it; not to touch it, no, but suddenly… a spark of flames formed right underneath the ooze, igniting it if possible as he took a step back. “Not the bloody time.” He growled. He had no idea what it was, but he was not in the mood. He then shifted his eyes back to Siclides, silent, his hand then reaching to rest over the hilt of his sword. Even though, he knew full well, it would do nothing against the being.

Siclides the Nonexistence
01:15AM
Sic smiled.” You really do need to put those things in check before i rip the rest of them out of you forcfully….and end them.” He would slowly stand up and look to ash.” Oh it seems the hero has made it ontime for once and not after all is said and done.” He would jest at the man before he looked to Zaire.” I think you already know the answer to the question but I suggest you stay out of family affairs…”

Zaire
01:18AM
There was an /obvious/ battle within Zaire. As she did her best to shove the presence away. She closed her eyes tightly, clenching her fists at her sides. Her skin darkened once more, her markings shifting to normal. And she opened her eyes, yellow once more. The gold cuff on her ear was still there. “I can’t just let people get hurt,” she said. “And those nightmares have leaked out into the rest of the world. I /won’t/ let anyone else get hurt!” She was shaking. Yes, afraid. But finally /trying/ to take the advice of others. She looked back to Ash, shaking her head slowly.

Emra
01:19AM
Emra listed to what Siclides was saying. She watched Zaire. She was surprised she wasn’t acting as she normally would. She sat at the bar and watched.

Unkindled Ash
01:19AM
“Fuck yourself, Siclides.” No filter. No hesitation. Nothing of the sort as the Unkindled gave the being a sharp glare. He was not one to curse, nor even one to insult, but he loathed Siclides deeply enough to hold back. The forming ooze made him glance through the corner of his eyes, watching as it seemed to sprout all over. He sneered, stepping out of the way from one of the tendrils, then shifting his gaze back to Siclides. “Bloody coward.” He sneered, eyes practically lit with anger, gripping the hilt of his sword more tightly.

Antinous
01:20AM
The pretty god stared down at the book, trying not to move. He was not going to get involved in this. How could he get involved? The screams of Venom, the intimidation of Siclides, it rolled through the tension of his shoulders and dissipated. Antinous’s fingers started to glow faintly, like they did in Rome when he had souls wrapped around them. He didn’t appear to notice.

Siclides the Nonexistence
01:26AM
He could not help but laugh.” The irony of that is so grand…” He would shake his head.” you meddled with mearo too much then Many people will get far worse then hurt…” He would say before he was barked at by Ash and he let out a sigh.,” Coward? Says the one who just somehow never was around when she needed it….Cowards were her so called friends whp all turned away when i walked into the room and did what i did…Im upfront with what i do…and i make due on the deals i made Do not blame me for others lack of resolve…boy.” He then looked to Zaire.” Come here…”

Zaire
01:28AM
She would obey, of course, but after she turned to Ash. “Trust me,” she said. “I’ll come back. Didn’t I promise you that?” She placed a hand on his arm, her yellow eyes looking up at him. “Have I /ever/ broken a promise to you?” And she stepped away, walking to Sic. She had to, didn’t she? She had to save /them/. Especially Ash. She was sorry, she was. But she was right. She’d never broken a promise to him. And today wouldn’t be the day that changed.

Emra
01:28AM
Emra growled ” I stayed I will never turn away when she needs me .” She muttered. Glaring at Siclides .

Unkindled Ash
01:30AM
“Cowards are those who prey on the weak or desperate, which exactly what you do, you damned–” He paused when Zaire spoke to him, turning his head to quickly look down at her. As she stepped over to Sic, he blinked, then frowned, stepping closer. “Zaire, you can’t–” he paused, gaze shifting back to Siclides with another glare. “You’re a sick bastard, Siclides. Gods help you.” He narrowed his eyes, heart beating heavily in anger. He wanted nothing more than to withdraw his blade and sever the being’s head. But alas, he knew better. Even now, he knew better.

Siclides the Nonexistence
01:37AM
Do I look like I care what the gods think?” He would reply as Zaire walked over to him and he would pet her head gently.” I preay on the weak…yes some may see it that way…Though i think of it as more of a harsh lesson…those who learn it…become…better…those who fail…simply become fodder to those stronger then them…I like to take the moral compass and flip it ….to take the pure ideals of the fair and naive and show them how the world has no kindness to reward thier thankless efforts of good they so optimistically dream about.” He would tuck his hand under her chin.” Look at her…if not for those things within her shed be a lifeless doll by now…But she just might pull through…who knows…If your quarry goes to ground….leave no ground to go too.”

Zaire
01:39AM
“I /have/ to.” She cast one last look at him over her shoulder, and despite her even tone, the fear was apparent in her eyes. Where was that glow she had earlier? That warmth? That’s what fear did to her. She smoothed her now black hair, standing before Siclides. It was a fight to keep the presence buried deep in her mind. But it was an even bigger fight to not let Ash see her as weak. She would stand until she no longer could, physically. And even then, she would still try to get up. It was her nature, wasn’t it? She looked at Siclides, her heart pounding. “Do what you must, then.” The Yuki was putting on a brave face, a tiny spark of defiance in her eyes. Yes. Punishment. It was what she had earned, after all. She interfered with Paracosm. And she didn’t feel /bad/ about it either. She had /helped/ those with her. She had /healed/ someone she saw as a friend. So what did it matter if she were to be punished. Let her be. Perhaps now she would be able to be seen as strong. However, she knew that the Primordial would be able to feel her trembling. She was terrified and it was clear.

Antinous
01:40AM
Antinous’s hands shook, white light glowing underneath his knuckles. He sighed, his hands folding in his lap and his gaze flickering around the room. When had it become so busy? The pretty Bithynian swallowed, rising to his feet. Where could he go? The whole place seemed crowded with chaos. It was bursting at the seams.

Unkindled Ash
01:43AM
The words of Siclides, despite how Ash might of loathed them, did not go unheard. He did not agree, he found the idea disgusting, appalling, and loathsome, but he heard them. The tiniest bit of insight into the being’s mentality. He would take it. He wanted to argue. Gods, he wanted to. He wanted to tell how wrong the being was. But it would do no good. Words would not change his mind. He learned that well just a few days ago, when another being had taunted him so. “You underestimate too much.” That was all he would say to him, it was all he /could/ say without speaking more. As the Yuki stood to accept her punishment, Ash took another step forward instinctively, hand ready to withdraw his sword that he knew would be useless in such a confrontation. “… Please.” His tone slowly softened as his eyes shifted to Zaire. “Please come back.” He muttered.

Zaire
01:47AM
It wasn’t her mind that had broken when she heard Ash’s tone. It was her heart. She /couldn’t/ just turn around and walk away. It was impossible now. She had promised that she would always come back. That she wouldn’t let herself die, hadn’t she? She knew that looking away would result in /more/ pain. And she wasn’t eager to have that. So, she spoke, directing her words to Ash. “I /can’t/, Ash. Please. Just…I have to do this. I have no choice.” If it would keep him safe, she would let every last Primordial on this planet beat her. She closed her eyes and took a shaky breath. “I’m sorry, my….Ash.” She couldn’t say the word. She had nearly slipped up there. But, if he didn’t know….then it would surprise her.

Emra
01:48AM
Emra looked at Ash. She wanted to talk to him but stayed away she could tell he was focused on Zaire.

Unkindled Ash
01:52AM
The corner of his lip twitched, he glanced away, took a step back. He felt sickened. He felt almost disgusted. Another person close to him to be potentially lost. He knew Sic broke, but not necessarily killed. But he also knew Siclides was one to make some fates far worse than death. For all he knew, the Primordial would do something far worse to the Yuki than merely killing her. Antinous seemed to disdain him to an extent, Sarnai was gone, and now… here he was, standing there, having no choice but to accept Zaire’s potential fate to the Primordial, whatever it was. Gods, it disgusted him. He almost wanted to shake. It felt far, far too similar to Sarnai all over again. Too similar to Antinous when he screamed at him for what he had done. He felt as if he was about to lose somebody else. He did not know how to even take it all in. He just stood there, watched, his lips parted to speak. No words came out. They couldn’t. So he just watched.

Antinous
01:54AM
Pale white light shimmered underneath the youth’s hands as he flipped the pages rapidly, barely even reading now. His eyes skimmed the words, catching up the English ones that looked similar to Greek and that he could translate without thinking about them. The pit of his stomach ached, perhaps owing to the sickly sweet wine he had drank earlier, and Antinous lowered his head, feeling his bruises ache as his neck twisted them. He sank his fingers through his hair, twisting them thickly in the curls there. It would be over soon enough, he told himself. The chaos here always was. Just a few more breaths and a few more minutes of feeling sick to his stomach, and it might lighten up.

Siclides the Nonexistence
01:55AM
{now the players feekin net was not being retarted sic would watch and listen for the time being ” Are you two love birds done?” He would ask as those claws rested on her shoulder.” We shall begin right here…Unless we have anymore….distractions?” He would question looking up to Ash as spoke.

Zaire
01:57AM
He knew. Of course he knew. Zaire closed her eyes. That was the /last/ thing she wanted. She simply shook her head. Please, she thought. Please don’t let him get hurt. Zenith, protect him. Her heart was pounding in her chest, lowering her head and unable to look at anyone in the inn.

Emra
01:58AM
Emra shook it took all she had no to say something to do somethin to do anything for zaire to keep him away from her. But Zaires words from earlier are all that held her back.

Unkindled Ash
01:58AM
The Unkindled’s jaw clenched hard enough to the point where his jaw ached. His heart was beating rapidly, he wanted to charge in. More than anything. To just draw his sword and sever his hand that touched the Yuki’s shoulder. He refrained. Gods, he had to. What kind of Blade was he, to just stand and watch a torture? He knew, though. He knew it would only get worse if he tried to actually intervene. That /could/ give Zaire a far worse fate. He just glared at Siclides, throat tightening in a hard swallow. “Darkmoon watch over you, Zaire.” He whispered.

Siclides the Nonexistence
02:06AM
Sic nodded.” Very well…seems i have been too lenaint with you as of late so you are not getting the point. And now He is going to have to watch.” His smile became a frown for a moment. Those long black claws of his wrapped atop her head.” You may want to hold on to something as this will ….hurt …like….hell…” His free hand then stabbed deep into her spine. She would be unable to move…but she could feel it. She should by all rights be dead but of course Sic would not allow that…the beuity of his power…to erase anything…remove it from reality…Death itself was removed from Zaire…She could bleed out dry and yet her heart would keep beating. But he was also keeping her awake…he would not allow her to black out…he wanted her to feel it all.

Zaire
02:08AM
What was there to hold onto? She quickly reached for the table, sending one last look at Ash. And then, she screamed. She gripped onto the table, her strength kicking in and making the wood splinter beneath her hands. She couldn’t move them, and she didn’t try. She continued to whimper, the pain clouding her mind. And she felt yet another crack in her mind.

Unkindled Ash
02:09AM
The very moment the claws went into the spine, the very moment he heard Zaire scream, his body froze, the color in his flesh drained to a deathly pale. He was not touched, but gods, seeing it, it felt as if the exact same thing had happened to him. He quickly turned his head, looking away. “Zaire. You are strong. You can endure this.” Despite how shocked he was of the ordeal, his voice came out strangely smooth – no shake or stutter, despite the adrenaline coursing through him, along his rapidly beating hard and shaking hands.

Emra
02:12AM
Emra gripped her stool and shut her eyes she heard everything. Gods why? Why? Did Zaire have to say things to her that made her stay put?

Antinous
02:12AM
Antinous stared down at the table, his hand reaching out to Ash. He knew he could not offer the man the comfort he perhaps wanted–Antinous thought his own comfort probably meant very little these days–but he had used to be a source of help and he hoped he could still be.

Siclides the Nonexistence
02:19AM
He held her head up so she could look oto ash. So ash could see her face …her tears. Her blood spill to the inn floor. His claws shifted slightly. He said nothing. focused on his works though a passing glance to the room ever so often. Soon ther was a loud SNAP” As his claws severed a rib. Then another….and another.Soon he would have broke each rip on her right side He would then slowly peel her skin away on that side till it was simply a flap hanging off her. More blood…mor tears..more pain. Even with her mind already fighting to escape this he knew she would hear him.” Look at him…pale…watching…unable to act…I bet he swore to keep you safe.did he not? You trusted him…but here we are.” He then moved his blood soaked hand to her left side and stabbed deep.” It is only when fear and pain join together you see the real person behind the mask of flesh…see who they really are.” SNAP went a rib.” Thier flaws..” SNAP” Thier fears” SNAP”: Regrets…”SNAP”……Thier ….Darkness. “SNAP” Thier soul…” SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP. goes her left side

Zaire
02:23AM
She sobbed openly. And she looked to Ash, regret and pain in her yellow eyes. She wanted so badly to just disconnect. To let a Spirit take this pain. But her mind was fracturing too much for that. Another crack each time a rib was snapped. She looked to Liri then. “D-don’t,” she managed. “S-stay….b-back!” She growled in pain, her ears flattened against her head, pulling at the stitching to her ear. She just wanted it to /end/ as quickly as possible. She wanted to get rid of that pained look on his face. This broke her more than the pain. Seeing him there, pale like that, knowing he couldn’t intervene. She was determined, though, to remain strong. “H-he….has…./not/…..f-failed me!” She let out another scream as she felt the rest of her left side snapping.

Unkindled Ash
02:24AM
The Unkindled would notice Antinous’ attempt to touch him. Exactly what he needed – the presence of another friend. He immediately reached over, grabbing the Bithynian’s forearm tightly, just to keep him near. His hand was very much shaking against him, Antinous would certainly feel it. Yet he did not look at him, he merely held his arm, not keeping his touch away, but rather making sure his hand stayed near. He needed it. “Sick bastard…” he murmured, jaw slowly clenching. Then the snapping, which almost got a flinch from him, but he managed to hold back. He took in a deep breath, hearing Siclides taunting. He slowly turned his head, looking over at the Primordial, the horrific scene of Zaire being mutilated piece by piece. Gods, it was horrifying. He had seen so much, yet this was something new entirely. He instinctively took another step forward, his free hand clutching the hilt of his sword once more, teeth baring, clenched, eyes lit with fury. His legs shoot, heart raced, wanting nothing more than to lunge at him. No. It will hurt her more. Especially now. They both had to endure. Both of them. “Zaire…” he finally managed to say. “Forgive me. Gods, forgive me. Just hold in there!” His words still came out clear. No stutter, no break. Perhaps it was the rage that kept his words in line, despite how infuriated he was. “Dammit, Siclides! That is enough! You sick bastard!” He shouted, something he did not often do, his other hand gripping the Bithynian’s forearm perhaps far too tightly. “I /will/ kill you, you sick fuck. I /will/ have your head!”

Emra
02:28AM
Emra wanted nothing more than for him to stop to just stop

Siclides the Nonexistence
02:38AM
“Damn me…OH i have been damned a rather long long time….” He again was peeling the flesh from the left sid of her back. Before he reached in one more…her rips snapped at the spine…her flesh sagging off her side. He was not done of course. he simply rubbed his chin spreading her blood over his face as he did so before he reached back in and slowly pulled the rips out one by one by one. Muscle and catralidge ripping and tearing as he did sow and soon enough he had all those rips spread wide before He pulled thos flaps of skin over them.” Do not all the pretty girls wish to be like birds or have wings like a fairy when they are young?” He would ask with a grin then he would reach past his macabre masterpiece and coil those fingers around her beating heart.” Let me ask you…do you know how the mind works when it comes to pain beyond physical tolerance? It shuts down…but I wont let her mind leave of course..” He would tilt his head.” So the other options is the mind shatters….or it rewires and becomes pleasure instead to save itself from the stress….if i crush her heart…with her unable to die..which option do you think her mind will go? of course with those spirits in her…something new may happen..Shall we test that?” he would tickle her heart lightly with those claws.

Antinous
02:38AM
Antinous’s hands were glowing softly as he reached out to Ash, his fingers sliding up to smooth through the other man’s hair. “Hey,” Antinous whispered, his voice cracked. “Shh.” His voice was soothing, the kind of intonations that he used to speak to men and women who were about to die.

Zaire
02:43AM
Zaire clenched her jaw, eyes shifting between pale blue, sapphire, crimson, silver, and a fiery orange. Her hair streaked through with an almost white gold, blond, silver, red, and flaming yellow. She still gripped the table, whimpering. Of course she would remain….conscious throughout this. Did she expect any different? Though, she knew that by “crushing her heart” the phrase was far more literal. Her heart was already crushed metaphorically, having to see Ash so distressed. But still….she wouldn’t break. At least, not visibly yet. She let out a groan as she felt his claws on her heart. And she trembled with each and every wave of pain. Her mind fracturing more and more, almost like cracks in a mirror. How much more could she take before it /did/ fully shatter?

Unkindled Ash
02:46AM
Ash heard Antinous, his attempts to soothe him. In any other situation, it might of worked, but given what he saw, Zaire being torn apart, ripped open, followed by the Primordial going off about the tolerance of pain. “You do not have to do this, dammit.” The Unkindled protested, his grip on the Bithynian’s arm tightening even more. “/Why/ are you doing this, Siclides? Why?!” He sneered, resisting the urge to step closer. “Has /your/ mind broken from such pain that you wish to inflict it? Have you snapped at the loss of a loved one that you /must/ hurt others to numb your own pain? Or are you truly just some malicious bastard who just takes joy in the suffering of others?!” His temper was letting loose. Probably not the best idea. He should stay calm for Zaire, but he could not help himself. “You do /not/ have to do this, dammit!” His heart was racing even more, his blood feeling as if it was entirely replaced with adrenaline. “You sick. Fucking. /Bastard/!”

Emra
02:51AM
Emra was shaking uncontrollably at this point. She listened Ash shut up shut up she thought please I know it’s hard but please calm down and be quiet. Tears slipped from her eyes down her face.

Antinous
02:55AM
The youth hissed in pain as Ash’s grip tightened on his arm. The blood in his own skin was pooling in bruises where Ash’s fingers clutched at him. He grimaced, but didn’t protest. “Hey, hey,” the Bithynian repeated as softly as he could, his stomach twisting. “Hey. Tranquilla, amos. Res bene cadent. Spira.”

Siclides the Nonexistence
02:57AM
He paused a moment as he looked to ash and heard her groans. Her heart beating rapidly in his hand as her bloody wings he made for her spill out more gore and bile and blood. Ash was not too far off in truth of Sics reasoning.” I do it because mortals are the bane of creation..like fleas they spread and no matter how deep you dig them out they always rise back up…you spoil the gifts given…to you …and when you fuck up everything beyond reason with your dreams and ambitions I have to clean it up by ending it all just for it to be reborn and do it ALL OVER AGAIN.” His own anger snuck out but he quickly collected himself.” But I keep my promise….I do not kill till the time arrives…but untill then….Pain..” He would grip tightly causing her heart to burst only to then rip it out of her body and drop it to the floor before Ash.” Now…Your little Zaire is is beyond death…beyond pain….In a moment ill put the broken thing back together for you…but…will it be same person?”

Emra
03:00AM
Emra couldn’t breathe couldn’t think all she could do was stare.

Zaire
03:01AM
That was all it took, apparently. As she felt her heart being crushed, she let out one last choked scream, and watched as it was thrown to the floor. Her mind shattered, then, and the last thought she had that she could /comprehend/ was: Oh. Isn’t that fitting? How many times has my heart been ripped out and tossed aside before? And then, she shut down. Her eyes went blank, still shifting through those colors, and even her skin began to take on an almost ashen appearance. As if she were truly a shell now. A discarded skin from a locust or cicada. She would have fallen to the ground had it not been for her grip on the table, which was still splintering beneath her hands. She /would/ have apologized to him. To apologize for letting this happen. It was her fault. Her fault. Stupid. Weak. Useless. The berating voice swirled within her mind. What was left of it, at least.

The Other
03:06AM
With a yawn, The Other walked in, cracking his neck as he blearily surveyed the Inn tonight. Nothing interesting there, nor there… ooh, the Unkindled. Looked like he was having a bad day. There was Antinous, being wishy-washy as usual. And off to the side was… oh. OH. The Other’s mouth fell open in what looked like a cross between wonder and delight, like someone watching a particularly hilarious movie death, before covering his mouth with a hand and visibly holding in a laugh. “Oh, I’m sorry,” he giggled. “I didn’t realize it was -that- time of night. ‘Scuse me, Sickle Pickle; I’ll be back later, though.” He slowly retreated out the door, trying to hold in his laugh all the while. How over-the-top! How terrifically violent! How very Siclides. He couldn’t have done it better himself. With a half-stifled snicker, The Other closed the door behind him and finally allowed himself to laugh. This fucking place! Shit never got old.

Unkindled Ash
03:07AM
The grip on Antinous’ arm would loosen, mainly because, in a brief moment of realization, he realized what he was doing to the Bithynian. He would of apologized, but his mind quickly went to another matter. He would have to apologize later. He certainly felt bad over it. The male’s words might of been the only thing that stopped him from lunging directly to the Primordial. He instead just listened, his breathing steadying, seeming to hit /something/ too close to the being, enough to get such an explosive reaction. At least, explosive for the normally calm Primordial. Then, the heart was crushed and ripped out. His breath felt as if it was taken from him. For a brief moment, he could not breathe, only stare down at the mangled heart dropped on the floor. The choked scream. Gods, it was horrifying. He swallowed hard, managing to gasp in a breath, eyes slightly wet from the ordeal. Heavily distressed, wanting to help, yet feeling too powerless to do so. She was right there, and he could do /nothing/. She looked so broken, so lost, so… empty. Did he lose her? Was this it? Did he lose another one he cared for? His eyes stared at her, mouth slowly opening to speak. “… Zaire…” he whispered, unable to help but take a small step closer. “Zaire. Gods… say something!” His eyes flickered to Siclides, then back to the Yuki. “Zaire! You are stronger than this! Snap out of it!” His attention was then shifted to the Primoridal, a mixture of horror, rage, and distress shown within his own eyes. “You…” he could not finish his sentence, as he then turned his gaze to the Yuki yet again. Did he even /notice/ the Other? He did not make it clear, he did not even look over in his direction, his eyes practically locked on Zaire. Watching closely. “Please…” He said softly, (c)

almost a whisper. “Please, Zaire…”

Zaire
03:16AM
The pastel blue eyes remained for a moment. And, there was a /little/ emotion in them. “I’m….s-sorry, m-my….love,” she managed to whisper. And she coughed, blood trickling from her lips. After those words, the shifting colors began again. The colors had emotion in them. But every time they flashed to yellow, they were empty. She wasn’t /lost/, exactly. But she wanted to be. She wanted to be numb. Wanted this to end. Strong? No. She wasn’t. She was weak, she reminded herself. Look at her. She was a mess of blood and gore now. She was a shell. She was stupid thinking she could withstand this pain. She was stupid to think she could be happy. <NO!> She heard one voice now in her head. Louder than the berating voices. <You are /strong/. Look at him. He needs you. Hold on. Endure. You are a YUKI. Act like it!> She gasped, forgetting she couldn’t die. How she wanted to. But she wouldn’t. After all, he was more important than her own life. Her breathing, if one could call it that, was ragged and wheezing. What more did she have to learn? What other message needed to be sent? She was too fractured, too broken, now to understand. She didn’t /know/ any more. What did he want? What did anyone want from her? She still sobbed, tears falling from her eyes as she constantly felt the blood dripping from her mouth. Wait….was that….The Other? She was glad he had left. There was no use for him to get involved. By his own admission, he had no friends. So why would he care? Why would anyone? That voice was back.

Siclides the Nonexistence
03:25AM
He would wait and he would watch as the two were on the floor. He would clean his hands of the woman’s blood with a rag he nabbed from a passing Hob. ” She is not dead ..for the moment…Her mind simply tuned out becausee it could not deal with everything being done…the mind was not maid to take so much pain for soo long. ” he would explain almost like a doctor would explain an illness.” In fact she is still feeling it subconsciously her body is still mangled….it is why she will not wake up just yet.” Then she did wake on her own which sic honestly did not expect but it was interesting to him. Still he leaned down and grabbed those rips that were sticking out. He would lift her into he air both those wings of flesh and face her to ash.” This is what happens to those who to not listen when i want them to do something…” He would look to her.” Your sister was smart…she learned after one lesson to not bother me when i am working… but you…just…foolishly fail to grasp this.” He just cleaned his hands now they were bloody once more as he cupped her chin and leaned his head against her.” But it is over now…your will…your body…are mine…my little puppy…”he would sit her down on the table holding her up with one hand as he reached into his robe with the other and flung out a leash and collar to Ash.” Now..boy put it around her neck…then…ill fix her up .”

Emra
03:31AM
Emra tried to stand but he legs just wouldn’t hold he up. She fell to the floor.” No. Isn’t this enough? ” She barely whispered. Tears flooded her eyes and fell on the floor.

Unkindled Ash
03:34AM
Dry, pale lips parted, but no words were able to escape the Unkindled’s mouth. Her words, sounding as if she was indeed at the brink of death she would not be granted. He felt as if his own heart had stopped, when the reality was that it was pounding within his chest aggressively. How was his heart beating so fast yet he was so pale? Why did he feel so damn cold? Dammit, stop shaking! He could not, however. He merely gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, the other hand clenching into a tight fist, eyes focused on Zaire. The flickering of her eyes, as if she was experiencing in an internal battle. Was he even /listening/ to Siclides at this point? He was, but his eyes were completely fixated on Zaire, unblinking, mouth opened, eyes drenched, yet no tears shed. He blinked suddenly when the leash and collar was tossed in front of him. He looked down at it. He heard him. Put it on her? Make her Siclides’? The shaking was uncontrollable, a mixture of both rage and despair for the broken Yuki. His lips finally closed, swallowing, then slowly raised his head to look at the Primordial. He knew. The moment he touched that collar, the moment that collar clasped around Zaire’s neck, that would be it; a vow broken. He would give into Siclides’ demand. Yet refusing… he would turn his back on a promise, a woman he adored, cared for. What would he do? Ash quickly came to his decision. “… No.” His lips stiffened, then curled to a harsh frown. “I would rather lose another loved one than assist in making her yours, Siclides.” He was no oathbreaker. Even now. Even at the thick of it, he would not forget what he was. He couldn’t. “I am not you. I will not /be/ you. I…” he paused, inhaled deeply, then let it out through his nose shakily. Finally. He stepped closer. (c)

“Many fear you. Rightfully so. I do not.” He huffed, but no humor, his lips straightening out in an almost dry, stiff smirk. “You are just… a bloody animal.” The smirk, if it could even be called that, rapidly faded. “I don’t know what made you into what you are. Loss. Pain. Mere /boredom/…” his shoulders shrugged lightly. “But I am not you… I will not be you.” His eyes glanced over to Zaire, holding back the urge to frown. He was certain now. He was certain that his words marked Zaire’s death. The loss of Zaire. The thought crushed him. But Ash was no oathbreaker. Never will he be.

Siclides the Nonexistence

No? He said no. Seems the man still had some steel in his soul even after all that. Sic admired that. he can respect it as well. A man that was not all talk. A man who kept his promise. Sic twisted as he was….had a code he stuck too no killing and never break a promise. An old memory hit him then as well. Remided of his past. He would hear the man put her death on the line to keep his word. Sic honestly could not defy this without being a hypocrite. He would hold the leash in his hand .” No you will not…you are a better soul then i.” He then leashed her himself and rose his hand and snapped his fingers and Zaires wounds were gone…her back and ribs all as good as new. He however did not erase the marks from before…her ear…the cuts on her face.. No those will stay.” You kept your word Ash….I will keep mine.” He kept a tight hand on the leash and walked to Ash and looked down to him.” You earned my respect even if you do not wish to hear such a thing from me…but it the same none the less…So ill offer something else you will want and should take if you are not a fool…I have my code…that is the only reason she is alive and you still stand….Mearo…does not….you or her bother my family…ill punish her again…but she will live…But if my brother decides to make a move…he will put her through pain even I could not imagine…..make you break your words…then kill you both as slow as he can ….And i will not stop him.”

Zaire
03:52AM
She may have been healed, but she was still dragged along with him as he held the leash. That empty look was back in her eyes, the shifting colors had stopped. And she still sobbed. Tears fell from her eyes. She couldn’t speak, though. She wanted to apologize to him. Tell him that she was sorry. That she should have never gotten him involved. But she couldn’t. She couldn’t even look at him, knowing that as soon as she did, she would see that distress on his face. She was unsure how long she could stand now. And she could feel herself sway, ready to topple over any moment now.

It mattered little on what the Unkindled’s thoughts were on the matter of the fact that Sic seemed to respect Ash’s decision, and even earned his respect? In truth, Ash was not expecting it, but how did he /feel/ about it? Only he knew. He did not step away when Sic stepped closer, but he did, admittedly, feel some sense of relief as Zaire seemed to be healed. But at what cost? It worried him. Immensely. Still, he listened closely to what Sic had to say. He knew he had to, anything he said was taken note of, information was powerful, after all. He loathed how the leash was placed on Zaire, but he knew that was how it would be. He could not change it, not yet, at least. A brother? His attention quickly focused to the Primoridal, brow raised, lips curled to a frown once more. “Why?” He simply asked. Everything within him wanted to go to Zaire, to help her, to comfort her. But he needed to know. He needed to know more. “/Why/ are you like this, dammit? Why punish her at all? Why not stop Mearo? /Why/–” he stopped himself. He expected no real answer. He instead just glanced away, in thought, then back to the Primordial, looking directly into his eyes. “You are wrong.” He said firmly, yet strangely much more calmly, despite his hands still somewhat shaking. “About everything. Mortals, gifts, how you think this will all play out…” He shrugged again, frowning. “I don’t believe you, Siclides. I believe there is another way. I will find it. Zaire will not be yours, and your head /will/ roll.” The corner of his lip twitched, eyes glaring right into his. “Call me what you will. Flea. A fool. I know who I am. I know what I am.” He turned his gaze, finally looking over at the distressed Yuki. “I wonder if you know what you are.” Despite looking at Zaire, his words were directed to Siclides.

Emra
04:10AM
Emra had stopped crying she had found a way to stand. She watched Siclides and Ash as they exchanged words she wouldn’t call it a conversation. She waited.

Siclides the Nonexistence
04:13AM
“Believe what you wish…I been though countless cycles of the universes…they have variations…but they all end up the same.” He would reply as he held the leash closer to himself and wrapped an arm around Zaire helping her keep balance. almost comforting her that the nightmare was over. “The family does not step on each others toes if it can be helped. He does not bother with my things.” He would emphasize the last part knowing Ash would get his meaning.” But he will find other ways to cause problems.” He then gently carresed Zaire on the cheek then pet her head gently. then rubbed her good ear a little.” I am a beast…a force of nature…a will of the universe…So many names I have collected…It does not matter..I am…plain and simple…If that is a problem take it up with the one who gave me this path and purpose…” He would lean down to Zaire.” I think you understand now do you not dear Zaire? “

Zaire
04:16AM
Out of one collar and into another…Weren’t those words used before? She couldn’t remember. All she could remember now was the pain. Yes. It was gone, but she still /felt/ it lingering in her bones. She looked up at Ash, her yellow eyes dull and full of tears. Where was her warmth? Where was that light? But there was still /just/ enough left in her to flinch slightly when he touched her face. “Y-yes, of….of course,” she whispered. “I p-promise. I w-won’t g-get involved. N-never a-again.” She sobbed, not looking at him. Looking every bit the beaten, whipped dog that she considered herself to be. She couldn’t even look at Ash again. Nor at Emra. She stared at the floor, hands limp at her sides.

Unkindled Ash
04:20AM
The Unkindled did not retort on the matter. No more arguments of such things. He learned far too well that such debates would get nowhere with such people. It was what Siclides believed and he was very certain there was no convincing otherwise. As soon as the Primordial began touch Zaire in such a manner, his frown grew, his posture stiffened. He wanted to stop him, but refrained. As Zaire flinched, stuttered, looked away from them. Gods, was she truly so lost? So broken? Everything within him wanted to step in closer and touch her as well, but he stopped himself. Not until Siclides was gone. Then he would intervene. He had to. His expression softened as he stared at her, looking more sorrowful than furious. He did not even know what to say. It was rare for him to be so speechless, but for that moment, he was. “What now?” He finally asked, the question, again, being directed towards the Primordial.

Siclides the Nonexistence

“good” he would pat her head. then look to Ash and his turmoil. He was done here. He had no more reason to beat a dead horse “if she does not have it around her neck when I return…Then she will get far worse…and it will not be from me.” He would warn as he dropped the leash and looked to the door.” Everyone wants to go to heaven….But no one wants to die.” He would say before would slowly walk away “The darkness touched Her. Everyone will see it in the hollows of her eyes, a gaze averted from life. She ran from it but brought it nearer. Led it to You ash.. An endless suffering worse than death. And She wanted to surrender Abandon You to find peace with the gods? No. I won’t allow it. So you will walk into the lair of the beast, look it in the eye And there you will see a waking Nightmare. In this where all fears come true, you will search for control. A way to pull through. But she will leave you in tears. You will smother your furies and banish your fears. But I will came, Ill raid these island shores. Do you still hear her screams? she so far away. iv taken her soul. Adn to your gods you cannot pray. I could break you, but not your promise. You fought for love and spoilt by her darkness within. You fought for your dreams, but there is no way to win. “Then he would vanish.”

Zaire
04:43AM
Her skin was uncharacteristically cold. Her eyes so dull. Seemed that the rest of her had vanished as well. She seemed to be a shell. She shivered and kept her gaze averted. Gods, she wanted to go to Ash. Wanted to crumple into him and sob. But it would not be. Not until she was dismissed. She was a good dog, a loyal dog. She wasn’t a person. Why had she ever thought that? How could she have been lured into thinking that she was like other /people/? She shook more violently, surprised that she had so many tears to shed. But then, he was gone. And she fell to the floor, on her hands and knees, unable to control her sobs any longer. “A-Ash,” she whispered. “I-I’m s-sorry….I-it’s m-my fault. I….I should have never…..never involved you.” She let her own claws dig into the floor, raking across the wood as she clenched her fists. She loved him, and that was her own sin. She had thought it would be different. That she could be happy. She should have known better.

Emra
04:50AM
Emra ran to her wrapping her arms around her ,” I’m so sorry Zaire! I wanted to stop him but you told me not to get involved! I’m so sorry.”

Unkindled Ash
04:51AM
Never did a single word avert the Unkindled’s ears from the Primordial. How did he feel of the matter? How deep did the words dig? His jaw clenched, his eyes dared not to look over at the being. Not now. He did not need to. Words were all he needed. He was not intimidated, merely infuriated of the matter. He did not hold it against Zaire. Not even for a second, despite what Siclides was saying. He believed she could be helped. He had to believe it. A fool’s hope? Perhaps. But it was still hope. Something she seemed to need. Then, the Primordial was gone, and the very moment Zaire collapsed on her hands and knees, he rushed over, kneeling in front of her, wrapping his arms around her tightly, one around her mid-back, the other on her upper back, where one hand would reach up and grab the back of her head to hold her close. “I would of gotten involved regardless, Zaire. Do not blame yourself.” He whispered, taking in a deep breath, his eyes then closing as he stroked the back of her head lightly, fingers combing through her hair. “I am here, Zaire. We will figure this out. I swear it.” He murmured.

Zaire
04:54AM
She was cold, almost limp against him for a few seconds. And, when the realization of /who/ had their arms around her settled in, she wrapped her own arms around him. She shook as she let herself cry. “I want….I want to g-go home. O-or anywhere. J-just n-not here. P-please.” She could barely get those few words out. She knew she couldn’t walk, and she knew she couldn’t /function/ enough to be alone. She did, then, crumble into Ash, clutching at his armor. “Please,” she whispered. She repeated that word a few more times, begging him to take her away.

Unkindled Ash
05:00AM
The Unkindled kept his arms around Zaire, doing his best to soothe something that would likely forever be a scar. How could he help with something so darkened? Where would he even start to help her? His mind raced, but he had no answer. Not yet. He just knew he had to be there for her. He glanced over at Emra, then sighed softly, giving the top of Zaire’s head a gentle kiss. He knew where to go, he knew exactly where to go. A fairly long walk, but he would go through it with her. He scooped his arms under her, lifting her up, carrying her in his arms. “I’m here.” He whispered, then kissed her head again, walking to the door.
