Current Location: Red Sun Inn. (Just outside, of: Pesistence)

Sherlock Holmes

He finished his food and left, he does steal a bread stick from Kirks basket, as he used a pink flamingo to distract him.

Eva Sparda

She looked up as he approached and grinned at the suit. “Now I feel underdressed.”

Alex Danvers

Danvers gaze went to Kirk with those words. He did that at times. Banging his head against a desk. Or table. One of his traits.

Captain James T. Kirk

Almost! “Hey wait!!” Turning to face, the man who looks exactly like, “…Tony!”

Hermes

Hermes strips off the jacket and shirt of the suit leaving just the tie, pants, and shoes. “How about now?”

Eva Sparda

She looked him over, the flames in the purple depths flared a little and she chuckled. “Much better.” She patted the spot beside her.

Kara Zor-El

Kirk knew that guy? It seemed like it. Kara didn’t recognize him. Maybe some old friend or something. And so she listened and observed.

Sherlock Holmes

He stopped. Thinking he had been caught he thought up a scheme. “Yes my good sir, I am Tony.”

Captain James T. Kirk

“Sit down, at the table”, said the guy in the space age, Blue Survival Suit and a messed up face….

Sherlock Holmes

He sat with him, gnawing on the garlic bread stick he had stolen. Waiting for Kirk to talk.

Kara Zor-El

With a Kryptonian, Amazon and badass human. ”Hi, Tony.” Kara greeted. Politely so.

Hermes

Hermes takes the seat opposite her.

Alex Danvers

”Friend of yours?” She asked Kirk and then nodded to ‘Tony’. In greeting.

Captain James T. Kirk

Wait? He narrowed his eye again, this time, his right one. Then, he even pointed to him and said, “Wait? You look like that other one?”

Eva Sparda

She took no offence to the fact he wouldn’t sit beside her. Was hardly surprising really. Most, once they knew what she was, would impose distance. So, she smiled at him. “Really shoulda took ma drink”

Sherlock Holmes

“Hello it’s been a long time, please sit with me and Mr. Perfect Hair here.” He said gesturing a seat for Kara. “I would like to think so.” He told Alex with a smile, hiding his English accent. “The other one, I assure you theirs only one me.”

Captain James T. Kirk

Gasping! “The one and only Sherlock Holmes!!!!” Kirk don’t fan boy over Tony Stark! Don’t fanboy over Sherlock Holmes!!!!

Kara Zor-El

Kara joined the two for now and it would seem it was not someone named Tony at all. But Sherlock Holmes. According to Kirk, that was. Kirk was being a fan boy. Oh dear. ”Now this is fun to watch.” Yep. Amusing.

Sherlock Holmes

No he was too out of character they had called him Tony, possibly the same one he had met earlier, time to fall into character. “Did you just call me Sherlock Holmes, that’s an insult I’m twice as smart, have way more money and I am Iron man.”

Hermes

A 2o milliliter decanter of whiskey appears between them along with two glasses. Hermes looks at her without expression. “Do you fear that by dropping your defenses that you’ve opened yourself up to attack?”

Captain James T. Kirk

“A 17th Century, Iron Man?” Give Kirk some credit….Or was that even earlier?

Alex Danvers

Danvers smirked. Yeah, something was going on here. But it was fun to watch this scene.

Eva Sparda

She sighed. “It was always a concern. But it’s not known who my parents are. I don’t even know if they exist in this realm. So as long as that’s a secret, not a huge reason ta kill me.”

Diana Prince

Diana tilted her head. Would she really have to use her Lasso Of Truth here? It seemed unnecessary, yet something didn’t add up here. And she trusted Kirk way more than this person.

Sherlock Holmes

“17th century, that’s a laugh, go on ask me only something I would know.” He said, staring directly and rebelliously, right into Kirks eyes.

Kyp Mattac

Kyp walked down the stairs mildly, dressed in the grey uniform of an officer, watching Kirk engage the new man. He reached out, through the force, attempting to seek out any possible affinity this Tony, or Sherlock, or whomever, may have. But outwardly, the man paid him little more than a glance. A tall, broadly-muscled man, Kyp Mattac was a poster-boy of an Imperial. Or he would be, aside from the lightsaber that hung from his officer’s belt. He wandered up to the two men, and listened to the banter.

Sherlock Holmes

All Kyp would get static: his mind couldn’t be entered by anyone really.

Kyp Mattac

Regrettably for Holmes, Kyp wasn’t entering his mind, so much as his access to the Force. And the Force was either strong in him, or not. Unless he used the Force itself to hide it.

Captain James T. Kirk

With the familiar force skimming over Kirks own: well? That touch of fear was back within Kirk, whom? Just moments ago? Seemed as if he was more in control in the past 24 hours than ever. “First time for everything”, to Holmes.

Hermes

“Even if they don’t know who your parents are, if they can feel what you are then you’re still a problem for those two factions. What’s the saying ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend?’ In this case you’re not the enemy who becomes a friend.”

Alex Danvers

Danvers took note of Kyp and his arrival, though offered no greeting. Unless a look could be considered such? Her attention was mostly focused on Kirk and Holmes.

Kara Zor-El

A glance was given, though her eyes soon drifted back to Kirk and Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes

“Come on friend! Ask me something only Tony Stark would know?”

Captain James T. Kirk

“I’m not Tony, so I wouldn’t know”, suddenly so damn dour….

Eva Sparda

She sighed and nodded. “Not sure the shields will work anymore…” She confessed. “They have been failing me since I got here.” She raised those purple eyes to his.

Sherlock Holmes

“Well then you’ll have to take my word, now come on, cheer up.”

Hermes

“Good, they were hindering you anyway. Besides if you had died like that it wouldn’t have been honorable. You would’ve died a slave to yourself and a coward.”

Kyp Mattac

He glanced at Kirk, and sighed softly. “Want me to kill him?” He asked suddenly. “Or beat him until he can’t walk? You don’t have to say yes, just sort of wink at me.”

Sherlock Holmes

“Now then, I must be off, your friend is no longer jovial enough, to keep my own spirits from dampening.” He said to the trio before standing and stealing yet another bread-stick, then with a wave and a few steps he was out the door.

Eva Sparda

Her eyes narrowed. “I am no coward. I was hiding maself because I am here ta help other people. Safer for all of none knew me.”

Hermes

“If that’s what you had to tell yourself to give yourself a reason to keep those shields up then that’s fine with me.”

Captain James T. Kirk

In a flash, the man was supposedly out of the Inn? What Tha? But there was still Kyp standing there before their table. Not the BBCT, (Bed-Booth-Campsite-Thing): but a regular table, “Looks like he flew the coop, Kyp?”

Eva Sparda

She stared at him unable to understand the change in him and a little wounded by it. But, she hid that. She was good at hiding emotion, lying easily with her face and eyes. “Well, it’s moot now. Nothin ta hide behind anymore.”

Diana Prince

The male that had approached them was one she did not recognize. Now, she had no idea why but he gave off a strange vibe. And since she was no Force Sensitive, she would be unable to pinpoint what he was. It was just a vibe, a gut feeling. Unexplained.

Kyp Mattac

He shrugged, and shook his head, glancing over at Diana, and offering her a distracted smile. “I guess he has…” Kyp shook his head, and looked towards the bar. “Got any drink recommendations?”

Alex Danvers

Did she like the fact of Kyp being here? Not at all. But there was nothing they could do about it. I was a free Inn, after all. Something that applied to just about anyone. And so here they were. Could they remain civil? Yes. Remotely, at least. They weren’t savages here.

Captain James T. Kirk

“Whiskers is a good ale”, Kirk mentions, “…Whiskey”, Kyp was apparently, being something akin to human for once? Besides, the in-human joke he’d made before….

Hermes

“Sorry if my words seem harsh. That’s not my intention.”

Kara Zor-El

Kara nodded in agreement. Danvers and Kirk loved said drink. Even Kara was somewhat keen on said drink. Still had to find her favorite, though.

Eva Sparda

She shrugged it off. “Ya have the right ta ya words same as anyone else.” She said thinking of her drink in the inn.

Kyp Mattac

“Whiskers?” He asked, contemplatively, and then turned to the bar. “Jerry? Whiskers whiskey, if you would.” He dipped his head in preemptive thanks, then looked back at the group who had suggested the drink. His enemies, he supposed. “So, Kirk. Ready to take the leap yet? To the Dark Side, I mean?”

Hermes

Hermes pushes the decanter and glass he created earlier toward Eva. “Here.”

Eva Sparda

She took it and poured two, assuming there were two. One she slid toward him and the other she lifted to her own lips but paused.

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk glanced to Danvers, then onward to Kara and DIANA. But no words were uttered, instead he said, “…Has anything been mentioned about a possible exchange?”

Alex Danvers

Danvers noted to look given to her, her sister and Diana. Though no words came from either woman. Instead, she just listened and observed.

Hermes

He pulls the second glass towards him with a smile but doesn’t drink from it. Hermes gets up from the bench and lies down on the ground looking up at the stars.

Eva Sparda

She set the glass down and was frowning very slightly.

Kara Zor-El

Kara was as content as could be, right now. Things were calm and thankfully quiet. And she liked it that way.

Kyp Mattac

Kyp shook his head slowly, and shrugged. “Not that I’m aware of, no.” He paused, and smirked. “Then again, I’m hardly trustworthy, on that count, am I?” He picked up the whiskey, finding it odd, to be served in a chilled mug, and examined it.

Hermes

“Join me.”

Colonel Sam Wildes

What would Hermes see in the sky? Sam hurtling down from it, at least a hundred feet by then, going super-fast and smashing into the ground!

Eva Sparda

She moved to lay beside him. Not touching him but close enough to do so. After folding her hands behind her head she frowned. “What is that?” She asked. She did not bother to even stand as this was hardly an unusual occurrence.

Captain James T. Kirk

Debates, while Jerry slides over Kirk a new mug as well. Tradition, Kirk thinks to himself. Then takes a rather long breath, “…Well? Trust is earned?” Kirk comments, “…And you’ve qualified for each of these arrivals to Persistence, correct?

Hermes

Hermes attempts to slide his arm under Eva’s back. “A superhero landing?”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“No that’s bad for you, Deadpool told me so.” Sam yelled standing up.

Hermes

“Yeah it really affects the knees.” Hermes looks up at the constellations remembering days long passed.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“Yeah it does, unless you know you aren’t effected by it.”

Eva Sparda

She snorted, staring up at the sky. “Hey Sam. New entrance.”

Kyp Mattac

“What do you mean?” He asked, narrowing his eyes at Kirk. “On both of those subjects.” He sipped the whiskey, and pulled a face of approval.

Alex Danvers

Ah, to hell with it. Danvers ordered a bottle of whiskers whiskey and glasses. One for Diana too. Right now, she assumed the Amazon liked that. Maybe? Maybe not? Either way, they would find out. For now she just figured this would be easier. Everyone having the same drink.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“Yeah you know I was falling, free falling, now who’s this guy?”

Eva Sparda

“Hermes, Sam. Sam, Hermes.” She said simply.

Captain James T. Kirk

“Ship Leave”, Kirk comments, “…You’ve put in your hard earned time for whatever they’re paying you?” Kirk was still unaware of all of those logistical matters, “….Right? And? You’ve got the clothes, the uniform of a solider. So? That tells me, ship leave. You’ve earned your time, your stripes and now you can sit back on-planet while the ensigns actually put in some time, right?”

Hermes

“I saw this guy earlier. He even spazzed out and started mumbling my stats and those of Hephaestus.”

Eva Sparda

“Your stats?” She asked, confused.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“Those who don’t learn history, are doomed to repeat it.”

Hermes

“Yeah, Hermes; jack-of-all-trades. Messenger to the Gods, God of Thieves, Travelers, Communication, and Commerce.”

Kyp Mattac

He blinked, and shook his head. “No. I am an Inquisitor, alongside the tasks I serve in The Emperor’s Navy. My life is my work, and I live it well. I am here with purpose, Kirk. To watch you, and everyone here. As simple as that.” He shrugged. “I told you that when I got here, didn’t I?”

Eva Sparda

She fell silent watching the sky.

Captain James T. Kirk

Shrugged: obviously Kirk doesn’t remember that portion of their conversation, “…I must have forgotten it”, he says, taking a healthy swig of the Whiskey: then setting it down onto the table, “…So what’s been keeping you?” He asks, “I haven’t seen you around for a few days? Besides a portion of last night?”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“So your star gazing are you.” He said sitting at the bench and unless stopped took the decanter and began drinking off it.

Eva Sparda

She was going to point out about Hades and pomegranates but Nah. She let him drink.

Hermes

When he finishes drinking the decanter would refill itself. “Yes, it’s rather peaceful too… “Hermes points into the sky, though this planet does have some strange constellations.”

Eva Sparda

“None I’ve ever seen before.” She admitted with a small grin.

Alex Danvers

With a now filled chilled mug, she took modest sips from her whiskers whiskey. The same drink everyone around the table were drinking right now.

Kyp Mattac

“Now Kirk… I have to keep some military secrets, don’t I?” He asked, with a quiet tone of admonishment. “Although,” he added with a chuckle. “Most of it can be summed up in testing myself, meditating, and exploring.”

Colonel Sam Wildes

He just keeps chugging the stuff, it helps never getting drunk.

Captain James T. Kirk

Nods, another quiet debate, “…It sounds like a pornographic retreat”, Yep. Diplomatic Kirk, making great strides across the galaxies, “…Or Yoga?”

Kyp Mattac

Another sip of his whiskey, and an arched eyebrow. “What’s Yoga?” he asked. Not offended by the first suggestion.

Captain James T. Kirk

“Stretching, meditating, testing oneself and exploring ones limits with their body”

Eva Sparda

“Be right back.” She said to Hermes with a grin. Rising, she made her way back into the inn. A salute was thrown to Kirk and Posse before moving to the bar. “Hey jerry give me a bottle of that tasty stuff please.”

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk nodded to Eva, before returning his attention back to Kyp: and of course his own Whiskey…

Kyp Mattac

“Hm. I suppose, in a way, it’s the same. Growing stronger, by doing things like that.” He set his mug down, and glanced at Diana, briefly reaching out, seeking any hint of Force power inside the unknown woman, but he looked back to Kirk. “You’re in here fairly often. When do you find time to meditate?”

Hermes

Hermes stands up then walks over to the table to sit diagonal to Sam. “You should slow down on that stuff.”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“I can’t get drunk mate, it don’t bother me in the least bit but thanks for thought.” He said nodding to the man.

Eva Sparda

Eva had not bothered to shield herself again. Yet, that did not mean she was blasting everything she had for the world to see. He would find no trace of the Force but depending how much he could read, he may realize her dual nature. Jerry handed her bottle over quickly but the mudslide was taking some time.

Diana Prince

There would be no Force power to feel, due to her not being a Force Sensitive. Though he might have felt power residing within, due to her demigoddess status. Will leave that up to the writer. The glance however, was noted. Though Diana found herself in a position where she didn’t exactly know what to say. There was tension between Kirk and this man, though. That much was certain. And therefore she was being cautious.

Eva Sparda

So, she took her bottle and the glass, turning on her heel to head outside.

Hermes

“Hey! Gotta look out for each other.” Hermes slides the glass of whiskey that had been poured for him closer and is about to lift it when suddenly the face of a woman in her mid-20s dressed in a tie-dyed dress with a wreath of flowers in her hair appears in front of him via a mirror image. Sam, sitting on the other side of the table would only see a distorted image of Hermes and an oval shaped rainbow. The god topples backward in surprise. The young lady has a stern expression on her face. “I’m in trouble aren’t I?” The woman nods then the rainbow and her image vanishes. “Sons of DIS.”

Eva Sparda

She moved up behind me Hermes an instant before he fell and she blinked at the image, well what she could see of it. “Umm interrupting?”

Captain James T. Kirk

Truth was? Kirk could lie if he wanted to? But: it wouldn’t aid him in this case. So? “Not very often”, while taking yet another swig, then resting the mug back down onto the table, “…I’m a very busy man, Kyp”, even a genuine thoughtful expression follows, “…I’m either breaking up a fight?”, grin illuminates, “Or starting them”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“So Oracle I take it or possibly the rainbow goddess who can act as a messenger?”

Hermes

Hermes stands up, picking up his shirt and suit jacket. When he tosses them over him his clothes turn into the armor of the Grecians. “Yeah Iris, I’m needed on Olympus. I’ve been neglecting council meetings. Sam would you mind covering your eyes? I’d hate to disintegrate you, you seem like a good guy and I need to make a speedy exit.”

Alex Danvers

Danvers nodded with those words. Because it was true. That he was a busy man and that he either broke up fights or started them. ”Sounds about right.” A slight raise of her mug to Kirk.

Kyp Mattac

His gaze slid away from Diana. If he was Speir, perhaps, or anyone else more attuned, he may have noticed the extra dregs of power in them. But it was only a passing inspection, seeking out one thing, and when he didn’t find it, he ceased to care. He turned back to Kirk, and smiled at him. “You still find time to drink and sleep, I imagine.” He shrugged. “You only limit yourself, with that policy.”

Kara Zor-El

Since Kara could agree with said statement, she took a swig from her own drink. Yep. That was Kirk.

Hermes

Hermes’ body begins to glow with a bright white light, his eyes glow with the heat of two supernovas: he suddenly he takes his true Divine Form and vanishes within a cracking sound.

Eva Sparda

She cursed as she looked away, realizing at the last second what he was doing. “Not even a goodbye.” She muttered. She had been standing behind him. Had spoken. So, she shrugged, gave Sam his drink and turned, heading back into the inn.

Captain James T. Kirk

Another shrug, another raise of the mug, “To sleep”, he says, “Or something like it?” His grin maintained itself, “…Not much time to sleep in space”, he confesses, then remembers the events of dealing with Krall, “…Sometimes the ship brings you down to the Earth, to surround you by wolves”, easy there, “Sometimes, your own men? Send you to deserted and forgotten planets due to their own mental imbalances”, that was Spock, “And sometimes, you get—–“, no he stopped there: Khan. Super-Blood: that likely doesn’t even work with his DNA? Apparently, however: it was a match…

Eva Sparda

“What other fella?” She called over her shoulder as she entered the inn. Making her way right to the bar, she flopped in her chair and sprawled, kicking her feet up.

Diana Prince

The only time she had been on a spaceship was in that shared dream. Aside from that, she hadn’t been on one. There had just not been any reason for it. Not to mention she was a defender of Earth and so there had been little reason for her to go to space. Yet here she was, on a different planet altogether.

Kyp Mattac

Much of that didn’t make sense to Kyp, and he shrugged slightly, dismissive of Kirk’s former struggles. He glanced over at Eva, as she re-entered the Inn, and watched her for a moment, submitting her to the same sweep for affinity in the force that he had touched the others with.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“Hermes, the guy I’m fighting your attention for.”

Eva Sparda

Now, she was annoyed. That stirred her power somewhat. She had no trace of the force but if he had any skills that would indicate her dual nature, that would be clear. Eva’s purple eyes flared and flames locked lightly over her skin as Sam spoke. “I wasn’t aware ya were fighting for ma attention.”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“Course I am, I like you member, we discussed this Eva, yesterday.” He said sipping his mudslide.

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk gave a small toast to Danvers mug, while it was still appropriate: then focused his attention back onto, “…You went quiet, Kyp?”

Alex Danvers

Danvers smiled at him, even giving him a wink as she toasted Kirks mug. As for Kyp, he did indeed go quiet. Was the story not interesting enough?

Kara Zor-El

Kara had been to space. In the space-pod that landed on Earth. The other times had been outside of a spaceship.

Kyp Mattac

“Hmm?’ He looked over at Kirk, and smiled again, a distracted smile. “Ah, you noticed… It’s good to be missed.” His smile grew in a wide, cocky one, and he winked at the man, before glancing over at Kara. “A pity you’re the only one…”

Eva Sparda

“Yeah ya like me.” She said, completely missing his point. “I like ya too.” A big drink from the bottle, those purplish flames growing stronger with her irritation.

Captain James T. Kirk

“You have no family? No friends?” Curious Kirk is Curious: though his smile isn’t present anymore.

Kara Zor-El

Kara took note of the glance. And the words. Maybe he had no family or friends? In truth, she didn’t find it hard to understand. More so with how he was and what he had done. At least she kept that to herself. And so she just leant back in her seat and took a deep breath. Right now the conversation was kept civil and she wouldn’t do anything to ruin that.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“That’s good, I thought it was one sided.”

Kyp Mattac

“Family, no, not so much. Not anymore, anyway. I’ve got a few friends among the Inquisitors, and a few more among the flight officers. Have a pretty good Dejarik group going, back on The Debaser.” He shrugged. “Aside from that, not really, no.”

Eva Sparda

“Friendship is usually two sided ain’t it?” She frowned at him.

Colonel Sam Wildes

“I was going for something a little more than friendship.” He said sadly before perking back up. “Friendship works though.”

Eva Sparda

She blinked. “More than…. Ya mean….” Eva sighed and drained the bottle in one shot. Slamming it down, she rose. “I ain’t lookin for anythin more than friends Sam. Sorry ya tell ya that.”

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk could go for the jugular here, if he wanted to? But that wasn’t the exact point of the conversation, “…Would you like to change that? If you could?”

Colonel Sam Wildes

“I see, well then that’s fine.” He said standing after finishing his mudslide and walked over to the couch to lay down again.

Kyp Mattac

“Sure. The moment you submit to the Dark Side, kneel before The Grand Inquisitor, and call The Emperor ‘Master’. Then we can be the best of friends, and go to the beach, and tell each other stories as we stay up all night in our sleeping bags, sipping hot chocolate.” He snorted, derisively. “Yeah, sounds like fun to me.”

Christian

Christian had turned up again, from wherever he’d slipped off to. Sly for a mere mortal. He’s heard when the glass of the bottle he’d own once clanks against others as he grabs it from behind the bar. A glass is retrieved as well. Everything needed for the ritual was there.

Eva Sparda

She watched him walk off and rubbed at her temples. Men. Headaches. Ugh. She moved away, intending on leaving. She paused at Kirk’s side and leaned down to whisper in his ear.

Alex Danvers

A valid and interesting question for sure. Danvers was curious as to what Kyp would say to that. ”I think he meant if you would want to change that.” She said. ”Don’t think of those above you. Think about what you would want.”

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk grinned towards Eva, but shook his head: No. Thankfulness was still within his One Blue Left Eye, though. “Must be an interesting job, converting people to The Dark Side? No. Wrong wording: Allowing people to embrace their Dark Sides: when they would have, shunned them before?”

Eva Sparda

She nodded, patted his shoulder. A salute was given before she headed for the door. Where did she stay? Who knew?

Kyp Mattac

“What I want?” Kyp leaned back, and smiled wistfully. “I think about that every day, Danvers… I want to be remembered. I want to have my name stamped across the memories of beings for the next million years. I want a grand tomb, covered in the carvings of my deeds, and I want to become the Grand Inquisitor, you know, when Speir’s done.” He sighed, and blinked, looking at Kirk. “It is an interesting job. Particularly where you and Danvers are concerned. Do you have any idea the leniency that has been granted you two, thus far?”

Eva Sparda

Not even a goodbye from them either. Bloody hellfire, she mused to herself, this world sucked. But she sauntered for the door, drawing the dark long coat around her. Outside, she paused to glance at the stars. A deep sigh and she headed off to her hiding place.

Kyp Mattac

“I didn’t think you did… If you were most people, you wouldn’t have survived your first encounter with Speir. Most likely not, anyway.” He glanced between the two, and shook his head momentarily. “Usually, the conversion to the Dark Side first occurs at saber-point.” He flashed his teeth at the two. “But he’s building you two up, instead. For some reason.”

Colonel Sam Wildes

He waved bye to Eva.

Alex Danvers

This conversation was getting real interesting right about now. Since she doubted anyone had truly asked Kyp what he wanted. At least, she didn’t expect the Inquisitors would take kindly to hearing these goals or wishes. He wanted to carve his name into history. For better or worse? When Kyp mentioned leniencies, she was curious about them. Just as much as Kirk was. What were they? And why? Building them up. So that was one reason. Or the reason.

Captain James T. Kirk

Kirk waved to Eva, before she might slip out that door!

Alex Danvers

Also waved at Eva!

Captain James T. Kirk

Leniency. Build-up. Friction. Power. Order. Another glance to Danvers, then back to Kyp, “…So he makes the decisions, during those purported: Saber Fights? I don’t recall him fighting you Danvers, though”, it was doubt, “…But he’s chosen us to take his Grand Old Time with? What do you think that reason is?”

Kyp Mattac

He chuckled, “Have you met the man? I doubt I could tell you his reasons for anything. But he’s the best at what he does. I know that. He always has a reason, even if no one can guess it.” Kyp finished off his Whiskey… Perhaps the reason for his talkativeness? “Like I said, though…” He glanced at the as-yet unfought Danvers. “He is being lenient, though.”

Alex Danvers

Glance was seen and a nod was given in return: as for Kirks statement, he was right. She had not fought Speir in a duel. As for why they were being treated differently, she had no idea. They were just two people who knew how to use the Force. ”No, we never fought.” She said and that was the truth.

Captain James T. Kirk

Smiles in a thought: ironically, it has little to do with peace, with harmony and that Federation Bull-shit that’s piped around the Universes. And, yes: just the one right eye remains Yellow. But? Kirk does remark, “…I watched a classic movie”, they’re all classic Kirk, “…From wayyyyyy back, in 2008”, shakes the head, “…Guy on the screen. Played the Joker” Don’t go there, “…Anyway? Alfred and Bruce are in their secret hideout, in some underground garage, in some unknown who knows where in Gotham City? Both of them are basically speaking about War Stories. Alfred, he says this and it ….it could be an idea for Mr. Lenient?”, and here comes that quote, “…some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”

Kara Zor-El

2008 was way back, even for those from modern day Earth. Had she seen this movie? Possibly. Honestly, she wasn’t able to remember. She probably had without realizing it.

Kyp Mattac

Much of what Kirk said didn’t make sense to Kyp, but the final quote stood fine on its own. Kyp smirked, and shook his head. “No, chaos and disorder is never a goal. He’s not insane. He, like all of us, is driven by a desire, and by a hatred. I just don’t know what, precisely, it is.” There was a buzzing, and Kyp lifted up his communicator. Kyp keyed it, and a voice rang out. Speir’s voice. “Report to the outpost, and wait outside the ordeal room.” Kyp blinked, and raised it to his lips. “Copy,” He responded, and tucked it away. He flashed his teeth again at Kirk and Danvers. “Well. I suppose that’s my cue to leave. Until next time.” He walked away from the group, and reached for his throat. He withdrew a string, and pulled out his amulet. His fingers brushed across the cool surface of the item, and he simply vanished, leaving no trace, as portal coins tended to do.

Diana Prince

”The quote was rather accurate” Diana said, once Kyp was gone. It applied to most bad guys. Not all of them. But most.

Captain James T. Kirk

“If we tried their viewpoint, then that would be denied, anyway?” He’s just mulling ideas over in his mind, “Chaos and Disorder: are directly aligned with Order and Peace”, he says, “…So that meshes together”, another glance to DIANA, “…One? He’s lonely. Two? He’s Not Satisfied with being, Number Two. Three? He’s biding his time….?” Narrowing the eyes, “…Or what he’s telling us, that the D Man is biding his time for us?” This time a look to Danvers, “….Maybe it’s the K-Man that’s really doing that?” Shrugs, “….He’s building us up? Maybe we’re Not Strong Enough to enter their training yet?” Shrugs, “…Or they want to break us down to the point? That Our Only Possible Option: is to go, To Speir’s Side? The Dark Side” He says, “….I find it to be an insult! But a part of it? Could be true?” He frowns, “What do you think?” He’s asking the group….

Diana Prince

”If he wishes to become the leader of this organization and is merely waiting for it, it would be in his best interests to side with those offering the quickest route to reach said goal.” Namely this group. Though that wouldn’t be easy.
