Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 04:10PM

Of course with the incident the previous evening the Azrael’s Blade was pulled back to Hellifyno from parts afar, the Cruiser Class ship in between the planet and its one moon. Kurai was on the research deck, in one of the many labs as the data recovered from yesterday was flowing on many panels around her. A chemical analyzes of the compound poured into the water supply was front and present, and the redhead was grasping to see how this designer drug tied into everything else.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 04:18PM

“Kurai Kishimoto.” The voice came directly to Kurai’s ‘ears’ first, though it couldn’t actually be heard in the room itself. “Don’t need you to panic. This is General Krieger speaking. I am about to come and speak with you.” In reality, Franziska was aboard her own ship, still above Olde Watch, but her mind could go far with a bit of help. Sure enough, the white-clad form of Franziska Krieger stepped out of thin air and stood to the left of Kurai. “I see you’re in the middle of researching the compound from yesterday. Good. Maybe we can compare findings, because I do come with… a lot of information.”

The ship’s XO had been absent from the previous night’s excitement, having gone off on a scouting mission of sorts elsewhere. Having recently arrived back to the Blade, she didn’t hadn’t yet seen the captain or known of the events that transpired the night before. After not seeing the redhead Kishimoto on the Bridge, Wend asked Helix as to where the captain was hiding when she was directed to the research lab. An eyebrow quirked upward as she saw the captain hard at work on something. “Seems like you’ve been busy. What did I end up missing yesterday?”

Even with the interruption of Sasuke, Olde Watch, and the Kishimoto Clan with Raidan Icarus; the drugs were successfully poured into the city. While the message sent out by the General was able to lessen the effect, there would be a slew of people going to the hospital with withdrawal symptoms. Others would be met by /random/ Samaritans who just happened to have a special medicine that would quell their allies; for a price of course. Intermediately the innocent civilians of Persistence were becoming addicted to the up and coming designer drug.

Kurai, of course, would react as soon as she heard an unfamiliar voice; hoping up from her seat and looking around to see where the voice came from. She sighed a bit in relief upon hearing that it was someone that was friendly to her, but it was still pretty startling to all the sudden start hearing voices. “Yeah I-” She was going to say that she had been researching it since the wee hours of the early morning, but the sound of the door sliding open as the XO walked in. “Okay. Wend, this is General Krieger of Olde Watch.” Then she looked to Fran. “And this is my First Officer.” Kurai was sure that there was already a file compiled on her team. “Last night it was discovered that someone was pouring this.” She pointed at the screen in front of her, showing the biomolecular breakdown of ‘Green Snow’. “Into the water. Also, Alysha had it in her system. It’s… pretty destructive on the body.” There was more too it, of course, and Kurai would send over all the data for Gwendolyn to look over at her leisure. “I would like that.” Then she sat down and pulled up a data pad, ready to take notes on the information Franziska came with

“From what we’ve observed and tested, I began to suspect that perhaps Miss Schonherr had it in her system. My worst fear was that it was a biological weapon of some sort… In a way, I suppose it is. But it isn’t… the worst thing.” Franziska shook her head. “Addictive poison in the water is bad, but thankfully due to our response, the public knows this. Those susceptible to the temptation of mind-altering substances and whatever other means they use to get it into people’s systems, however…” The General scowled. “…In any case, we are developing an anti-drug, but in the meantime, we are prepared to offer some of our own medical technology to treat people until we have a way of directly counter-acting the effects.” Her eyes narrowed at Kurai. “I’m aware that you are somewhat familiar with the nanomachine technology we possess. It doesn’t have purely destructive applications.” A tablet appeared in Franziska’s hand, which she looked over. “Also… I have actionable intelligence on a possible base of operations, or at least an outpost. In Persistence.”

Pharil Modica

8/24 04:50PM

After the events of the previous events, Pharil got a sort-of account of things from Wend. What Pharil knew was a bunch of Bad Things were done by Bad People and these Bad People needed his guns pointed at them. Pharil understood the simple things. He wanted to ask Wend about maybe some further training to do with close combat, and so he asked the computer to locate her! This meant that Pharil would eventually turn up at the research lab, opening the door if he was able to. If so, he would look at his Kaptain and the XO talking together. “…Is this like last time where you guys were talkin’ about important stuff?” Pharil asked, sensing some deja vu.

Drake Barton, Director of Shield

8/24 04:57PM

Drake sped around Helicarrier One. Barking out orders to his Operatives. Overseeing the manufacturing of new Hammer Drones. He’d spent a lot of the time on the Blade and needed to do some maintenance on his helicarriers. Helicarrier One orbited Hellifyno, so the Azreal’s Blade isn’t too far out of sight. “Athena, pair me through to the Blade. “Captain, I’m done here. Are you in need of extra hands? Seems something weird happened here yesterday. The helicarrier only picked up on the chemical change in the water but couldn’t isolate what it really was.”

Wend gave a polite nod to Gen. Krieger. “Ma’am.” The woman had no issue with Krieger.. or was it Kriegers? However you wanted to explain it, Dorain was her first captain and she thought well of the man. Until she could read over the mission reports, the subcommander leaned against a spare table and listened in on what information Franziska was able to glean from the unusual drug that was called Green snow. The chime on the door drew her attention away for a moment and she turned her head slightly to see Pharil standing there. With a tilting motion of her head she motioned the alien boy over to join her. In a low voice as to not interrupt Fran and Kurai, she filled Pharil in on what little bit she knew of the situation. “Evil bastards are at it again, this time wrecking havoc on Persistence. Tainted the water supply and its getting people addicted to a new designer drug in the worst of ways.” Translation – they were going to more than likely go up against said baddies and make them hurt even more.

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 05:05PM

Kurai listened to what the General had to say, frowning lightly at the memory of the nanomachine. That was under the fake regime of the Senate of Soulless, and Kurai understood that. She understood the nature and the countless applications of nanomachines, as she employs them herself. “Kishimoto Incorporated stands ready to dedicated its medical department to finding an anti-drug to this as well, I’ll see that they stay in communication.” Double the manpower hopefully would equal out to half the time required to find an antidote.”I see… Well. I would appreciate if you would put my team on the assault team.” Of course there was the chance the General wouldn’t agree, considering the last time she had the building completely destroyed. Then she looked at Pharil who entered, then nodded her head at the Communications Officer. [Standby Director, Captain Kishimoto is currently in a briefing.] Helix replied to Drake instantly.

Pharil Modica

8/24 05:08PM

Pharil got pulled aside, and the energetic ‘floof’ would listen to the XO! “Are we gonna go and blow stuff up again?” he would whisper excitedly to her. Pharil was partly less serious than the others because he didn’t know what these Bad Guys did to all those women on the previous mission… “Oo, that sounds bad… Can we do somethin’ to help?” he’d ask about these poor folks affected by the drugs. He’d also salute the Kaptain and this important looking lady who was apparently a General!

Drake Barton, Director of Shield

8/24 05:13PM

“Thanks Helix.” Drake replied to the Ai. While he waited he typed up some reports to send back to his earth as well as check in on his other operatives. “How’s it going over there, Howard?” A female voice replied instead, [“HE WON’T STOP DRINKING THE MILK OUT OF THE CARTON.”] “I get thirsty.” Howard replied. Drake shook his head and chuckled, “As long as you guys aren’t destroying anything. I’ll check back in later.” He sighed, he missed his team but this place needed him too and his world has his Avengers, plus the other teams that are allied with Shield. He looked out into space and waited for the Captain.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 05:14PM

“I came here to tell you that we have the location under surveillance currently. I wanted to…” She paused briefly. “…Do this with the cooperation of people more publicly trusted. Your team can take part in the raid. If not for being aware of how it may look if a sizable strike team of Olde Watch soldiers attack a building in Persistence, I wouldn’t be here.” Looking at the others, she nodded. “The goal is to capture individuals and seize assets, not destroying them. We want to recover active data.” Adjusting her glasses and tapping her forehead with her index finger, Krieger offered a small smile. “All I am acting on is what I’ve pulled from the minds of the last offenders. But we require more. I also… should tell you one other thing.” She paused briefly. “The mercenaries from the latest attack. They match what information we have about the… infants. It is clear to me that whoever we are dealing with is quite literally breeding soldiers, and we’ve already encountered them. Alarming, isn’t it?”

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 05:24PM

Hmm.. Politics, Kurai’s worst understood subject. But whatever the case meant that Olde Watch was on their side and they would actually join in on a joint operation. “That’s a good point.” She looked over to Wend. “X.O, get the team together and suit up. Gear to try and capture rather than kill.” She requested of her second in command, then nodded towards the image of Krieger. “Understood. Though, if it comes directly from their mind there is little chance at misinformation.” Though brainwashing and that specific person being misinformed was also a possibility. “O-oh…” That made her blood boil, the idea of having to kill these beings that literally had no other choice in life rather than what this sick doctors ideas were. “Yes. It is. Even more reason to stop this creature at every turn.” She nodded and took a deep sigh, quelling the anger for now. With a few keystrokes of her omni-tool she forwarded all the information she had so far to the Watch. “I’m going to go suit up. Send me the rally point and my team will be there shortly.” This point would be sent to both Director Barton on the carrier and Radian where ever he was.

Gwendolyn N. Willows

“Shh… listen,” Wend said to Pharil as the OW General relayed the information for the upcoming events. Her jaw clenched slightly as it came to light that what they had indeed found on Planet VII was a baby factory for the production of super soldiers. Acquire information as opposed to outright slaughter? Sounded like they were going to need sublethal damage for this one. Dark brown eyes looked to where Pharil was standing beside her. The kid had a knack for creating weapons and he somehow managed to come up with things that have thus far worked out for the best. Hopefully that trend would continue so they could help recover the data Franziska was looking for. Even before Kurai started giving orders tothose under her command, Wend was alread running down a mental checklist of what would be needed. “Right away. You heard the lady, Kiddo. Let’s suit up!” The XO grinned at Pharil, hooking her arm around his neck and leading him down the corridors to the armory.

Meanwhile, this thing about babies, breeding and super soldiers went over Pharil’s head due to his lack of knowledge about the previous mission’s darker sides! Instead, he focused on the ‘non-killing’ thing… Well, that might be kinda difficult, but he’d do his best! “We’re suiting up? Alrighty!” Pharil would salute again for good measure and then be forcibly dragged along by Wend in order to put on the armour Kurai got him as a member of the Krew.

Drake Barton, Director of Shield

8/24 05:32PM

Drake had received the Rally point almost immediately. Of course, he couldn’t leave his position without a snarky comment first, “Oh yes, love these heart to hearts with you too Kurai.” He hopped up and commanded a few things as he was leaving. Then, boarded his quinjet and made his way to where he needed to go.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 05:36PM

“Here is the location.” The Inner Watch would send Kurai the coordinates, and then Franziska bowed her head. “I will be meeting you on the ground.” With that, she vanished from sight without further word. She had her own things to prepare.

Wend was already in her armor by the time the Captain made her way to the armory to suit up. The XO was gearing up with her usual array of weapons when the redhead came in. “Going for sublethal damage this time right Captain?” She had heard the conversation between the leader of Olde Watch and the Captain, the subcommander just wanted to verify with the captain beforehand. She was quiet for a moment before speaking up again. “Is Alysha going to be alright?” She remembered the little redheaded girl from the previous mission and how she had received some pretty nasty burns thanks to one of those flame-thrower wielding oafs. To think she would also fall victim to this new drug? The girl either had rotten luck or she was a magnet for trouble.

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 05:46PM

Kurai shut down everything in this lab and walked out after the rest of her crew did, heading towards the armory. “While we want to be able to capture people alive, don’t lose out on power either. Prep with both in mind.” While it was stated that Olde Watch wanted more people to question, the Crimson Captain remembered the type of opposition and firepower they underwent during their last encounter. She also remembered on how she was pretty underpowered went it came to some of the more engineered creatures, and she wouldn’t make that mistake again. So instead of wearing her normal crimson Defender armor, the Captain actually dawned her newest creation, The Final Line. She was programing on the fly a nonlethal program while suiting up and grabbing weapons. “She’s…had a hard few weeks. But physically, I think she’ll make a full recovery. Mentally, that’s hard to know.” With two weapons and a few extras, Kurai readied herself on the Transporter pad that would beam the team down to the rally point.

Pharil would also be finishing up donning his armour by the time the Kaptain got to the armoury. Sublethal damage… well, so far a lot of Pharil’s weapons had been lethal, so hopefully the dice today land on non-lethal things for him to use! As for this Alysha, who the heck was Alysha? The name sounded vaguely familiar, were they at that previous mission? “Umm…should I take some normal guns too?” Pharil asked the XO and Kaptain, in case his randomising ability didn’t work out.

Gwendolyn N. Willows

8/24 05:56PM

Wend smirked slightly at Pharil as he asked about carrying additional weaponry. He was starting to think more strategically. “Not a bad idea, Kid.” She still had the habit of calling Pharil by that nickname. She handed him a Deagle to use as a side arm and pondered for a moment. “Sniper rifle or shotgun? Take your pick.” Whichever he chose, she would hand the appropriate weapon over before running a last minute diagnostic to make sure everything on the Chameleon Defender armor was working perfectly before moving to the Transporter pad. There was a slight chuckle from the woman as she looked over at Pharil. “You finally get to go down to the planet. Maybe after all this is said and done I’ll take you for a bit of exploring before we come back to the ship.”

Pharil Modica

8/24 05:59PM

Pharil would grin as his idea was complimented! He was given a Deagle and he would think about what other gun to take, “Sniper I guess! By the way, these don’t really sound ‘non-lethal’ to me, y’know?” Sniper since he didn’t really know close combat at all, and he could target… non-lethal zones? Legs? Shoot All the knees! He’d take the rifle and salute with a smile. “Oh! Seriously!? Awesome!” Pharil cheered, he might be able to explore an actual Planet! With Ground and wind and animals and stuff.

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 06:06PM

“I would suggest close quarters, as we’re going to raid a building.” She added through their TEAMCOM, the Crimson Captain now dressed like an armored behemoth, including a small auto-turret pointing over one shoulder. But once everyone was ready to, the Transporting would take place; beaming everyone down to where the rally point was, which would have been probably a distance away from the actual suspected facility. Kurai would hoist her directed energy weapon, which fired invisible lasers dialed down to stunning and frying out components rather than burning holes through things.

Pharil Modica

8/24 06:08PM

…”On second thought, I will take the shotgun…” Pharil said quickly, swapping the sniper rifle for the close-quarters combat gun! Then the whole team would be transported to the rally point. Pharil would be looking all around excitedly. This was the surface!?

8/24 06:14PM

“Don’t get too disappointed, kiddo. It gets better than this.” Wend said over their Coms as she surveyed the surroundings of the rally point. Building raids – something she had done countless times during simulations and practice runs. This time, however… this was not a drill. Thankfully she trusted those that were by her side and apprehension had not set in. Call it ego or ignorance, but the XO was there to help the Kishimoto Captain as well as the Olde Watch General get to the bottom of things.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 06:16PM

There didn’t seem to be a single person nearby. Everything was still, quiet… And then a voice came to the minds of everyone that arrived with Kurai. “Olde Watch Psi Ops. Stay quiet and low. Do not engage yet. The General is on her way.” There wasn’t even any indication that anyone was nearby! But, sure enough, from behind them, General Krieger came stepping out of thin air, but not dressed as usually seen. She was wearing black tactical armor that was also somewhat ornate, carrying the motif of skulls and bones all over her body. A cane was in her hand, as always, similarly fashioned. The others with her were similarly dressed, all wearing black masks. “Here we are.” She spoke in a hushed tone. Looking forward, in the general direction of where they were going, she nodded. “My team will be attempting to infiltrate while we conduct our raid. Make no mistake, we are here to put an end to their operations in Persistence, but this raid serves the dual purpose of finding out more information on their agenda. I am giving more priority on intel than killing these people.”

In the distance, on the edge of the city proper was a two story building made of seemingly normal red brick. There was a sign outside that read ‘Meridian Pharmaceuticals’, a legit business that was actually registered in making medicine. Of course most were none the wiser of the things being cooked up within, or the terrible experiments going on within its walls. Some traffic came in and out, some marked to the business itself while others were truly civilian, delivery drivers and the such. Now while the operation did employ innocent people with no ideas of what or who they worked for, their was also security that was all ‘private.’ Of course the party would know where this security actually came from, but to all else, a magnificent front that had been going for years.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 06:27PM

“If you mean the man called ‘Albert Wesker’ that made his escape the previous day, yes.” Krieger nodded to Raiden.

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

8/24 06:27PM

While it made sense that Kurai had never heard of this division before, it did surprise her that the Watchmen would at all employ anything that seemed magical. But whatever one needed to gain an edge, she pushed it off as Krieger and her squad appeared out of thin air. Kurai looked armored for war, bustling with weapons and gear to put down an opposition without prejudice. “I’ve instructed my team, we’re going to try less than lethal if the situation permits.” She replied to Franny, then made sure everyone was on the same frequency known as TEAMCOM. “It’s your lead.” She said to the General, she was the one who found the location after all. One way or another they were going to destroy the operation.

Pharil Modica

8/24 06:28PM

Well, if Wend said so… Pharil would make sure that Deagle and shotgun were loaded with Phasic rounds before fully arming himself with the shotgun and getting ready to listen to orders! He didn’t expect them to pop up in his head though. “…So cool…” Pharil murmured under his breath at the Psi stuff goin’ on in his head! The General then appeared, wearing armour that in Pharil’s opinion screamed ‘Evil’, but that was just his opinion.Right, try to not kill things, that meant Pharil would restrain himself. “Wend, can ya tell me when I should make a gun?” he whispered to her, letting the judging go to her since she was the smarter one.

“Psi-Ops, break off.” Krieger gave a motion with her hand, and the masked men and women all stepped back into whatever hid them from view. There was barely a sensation of them, and many, many more moving past everyone as they advanced and spread out. “Direct your team, Captain. They’ll operate better under your command than mine. But, it is time we move.” A helmet formed itself around her face. A shining, black metal skull with a startling eye carved on the forehead. This close, there were eyes at different positions all over her armor, another ornamental choice it seemed? Either way, the General advanced, keeping low, but she moved FAST. “We go in through the front on my mark.” They were just a few yards out now. Elsewhere, Psi Operatives were going to the back of the building, as well as scaling up to access the roof. But, most shockingly, a civilian woman made to enter through the door all on her own, and once she was inside… She SCREAMED. It was loud, ringing, but it didn’t hurt the ears of Olde Watch’s allies. It did, however, render the innocent employees immediately unconscious and not likely to awake again until this was all over. The security force, meanwhile, would find it was a bit more effective than a flashbang, due to the fact the sound could travel through walls and around corners.

“MOVE NOW.”

8/24 06:39PM

There was a smile on the subcommander’s face as Pharil was looking for guidance. Oh if he only knew how much the woman second guessed herself on a daily basis! “You seem to have a pretty good feel for the flow of things so I trust your judgement. Remember what I told you on our first mission together? That if someone is trying to kill you then to return the favor? Well, this is slightly different. Information is important, yes, but so is getting out alive. When it comes down to it, I’m sure you’ll know what to do.” There as a pat of her hand on his shoulder before the same hand went to her omnitool to adjust a few settings. “You’ve proven that you know what to do when it comes to it, Pharil, so relax a little. You’ve got this.” There was a wink as she wrapped up her pep talk for the youngest member of the Blade’s crew. All that was left was to await for their marching orders and to take the world by storm! Well, not the world but it sounded cooler than saying ‘Storm the Pharmaceutical Building on the Edge of Persistence Because They are Evil!’

XO, I suggest your tactical cloak. Pharil, stay alongside me.” Keeping their opponent off guard by guessing the true number of assailants on either front sounded like a decent idea as they stormed the front. She made note for sure on the interesting design of the OW armor, but would question more about it later. Kurai wasn’t made aware of what the plans were before this point, but had a little flashback upon seeing what they did to incapacitate the employees, remembering herself going deaf from something similar. That was pushed out of her mind though as she went through the front door, the heavy weapon in both hands as she swept for anything still stand; the helmets in all of her suits actually having a safeguard against this very thing.

That General lady did some… weird thingamajig when they stormed the building, but it was cool as well! “Yes Kaptain!” Pharil acknowledged Kurai’s words and stayed by her, eyes sweeping the surroundings as he looked out for any hostiles.

There was no warning for those innocent people who were just staffing the reception area, hearing the supersonic or subsonic harmonization that would cause them to pass out in moments. Collapsing in their chairs, on the floor, and dropping everything they were doing as the raid began. The soldiers on this level were all suited in environmentally sealed high tech armor, but they only held small arms to complete the show. They were stunned momentarily, the noise enough to scramble a few systems. But soon enough they started to open fire on the lady that was screaming, and soon the force that came in behind them. There were 6 guards on the first level, while the second level was open with a sort of cat walk where another 4 guards could aim downwards at the enemy! In the depths below, orders were given to secure and destroy information. Those available being sent to their posts, having been on guard since yesterdays snafu.

The cloak was activated before Kurai could even finish her sentence, the purple and black armored woman disappearing from sight. She would move ahead of Kurai and Pharil, close on the tail of the less than visible OW soldiers. Oh how she loved the Chameleon feature of her armor that negated everything from visuals, scent, and heat traces of the woman. Sneaking on in, she started to sweep the room, weapon at the ready. Hugging the walls, Wend took aim at the guards on the the upper catwalk using Phasic rounds to, hopefully put them out of commission without killing them.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 06:59PM

The screaming woman was shot, which caused her to stumble back and cease her awful sound, but the bullets… didn’t quite penetrate. Her body flickered, wavered, and standing there instead of just a woman was a black-clad Psi-Operative, who pulled her own weapons out and opened fire with a pair of double-burst pistols. An armor-piercing round would fire from both, followed closely behind by hollow-points. More Psi-Operatives slipped in through doors and windows, breaking them if they had to, some uncloaking to engage, while others would slip by undetected in the visual spectrum. As for the General? She was RUNNING. With a burst of speed that seemed unnatural, she was propelled forward and through the doorway, and it was her fist that would collide with the head of the nearest guard. Armored knuckles might not be enough to knock a man down, however, and so she gave him an extra nudge of telekinetic force that would help throw him towards the closest wall. In her hands, a shimmering, halo’d blade would appear, and she held it at the ready. “You have a choice. Surrender, or lose this battle.”

These soldiers were, of course, enhanced through both genetic and cybernetic augmentations, hidden underneath the full covering armor as they defended the front door. The shift from civilian to soldier was a bit surprising, but wasn’t deserving any less bullets sent at her! Though with the combination of overwhelming bullet fire, the guards were quickly stopped. Some bleeding out while the others locked up in their armors. That specific one that Franny would meet with her fist was sent careening backwards, locked up in his armor and emp’ed to the point that his external speakers didn’t even work. The battle was only seconds long before everyone on that floor was knocked out, disabled, or dead.

Drake Barton, Director of Shield

8/24 07:12PM

Drake was late due to a malfunction in the Quinjets engines. This called for an immediate landing and he had to wait for his Operatives to come down and make repairs. Luckily, the damage wasn’t large and they were able to swiftly repair it. After he made his way to the location, it was pretty clear where they were due to all the gunfire. He landed the quinjet and exited with an IWI ACE that had an enemy tracking scope on it. He loaded it up and made his way into the building, “looks like I’ve missed quite a bit. Sorry, got stuck in traffic.”

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 07:21PM

Approaching the one she meant to interrogate, Franziska opened her hand and made a motion, prying the helmet apart by force so he could speak if he wanted. “We are here for your employer, your information, your resources. Hand over one or all of these things, and you will not be heavily prosecuted.” But, the General did hold her blade towards him, shining and shimmering as it was. “Potentially, at least.” Even as she spoke, her still cloaked officers were clearing the other rooms upstairs, opening every door they could, searching the place.

There was a smirk on Wend’s face as Barton was late to the party. “You get points for being fashionably late, Director, but I’m a little disappointed that there was no epic Super Hero entrance you guys are so fond of.” Even in times of high stress the Blade XO still maintained that snarky sense of humor. The lull in the action allowed the woman to switch out the Windowmaker for the shotgun to allow the previous weapon time to cool while she moved forward to go deeper into the belly of the beast.

Once the enemies were down, Kurai moved slowly around the room, quickly and quietly to make sure there were no hidden traps or surprises. With an app on her omni-tool, she started to scan around and survey the building; searching for hidden routes, doors, or partitions that criminals were so fond off. “Welcome to the party.” She said to Drake. “Glad you could make it.” She didn’t sound angry, or happy, she was just purely focused. Once she finished with that, she walked over to the computer the receptionist had access too.

Drake Barton, Director of Shield

8/24 07:32PM

“Super hero entrances are for when I can see where I’m going, otherwise I could make an extremely big mistake.” He looked around the room, “Athena, I want a full scan of this facility. Anything you find is to be sent to the helicarriers and to Captain Kishimoto.” [Yes, sir.] Drake followed by Kurai pretty closely, for just in case purposes.

Dr. Mer’Dian ~[StoryDM]~

8/24 07:35PM

As the General ripped off this helmet she would come face to face with not a human, but a species of alien that she was likely not familiar with. It was humanoid with two arms and legs of course, but leathery brown skin with no hair and and two pairs of eyes with razor sharp teeth in its mouth. “Unhand me human!” It spoke in an low, rolling tone. “You aren’t worthy to know the majesty of the Doctor! Go fuck yourself like you monkeys are so fond of doing.” Still struggling against its armor. The second floor would be handled with its own firefight, a dozen soldiers fighting the forces of the Olde Watch; along with civilian office drones doing menial labor. With a few casualties, the psy-ops would find themselves in control of the top level.

Having made her way to the second floor, Wend used the AI of her armor to scan for any traps or other anomalies on the second floor. There was no telling what they would find up here, or if there was a different way into the lab instead of walking through the front door. Remembering coming across something similar before, the XO’s eyes turned upwards; using the ventilation system was always an option. Whether it was feasible and would actually work? That was yet to be seen.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 07:47PM

The expression on Franziska’s face just seemed overcome with disappointment. And anger. And so she didn’t say anything at all. She just entered the being’s mind. She didn’t bother with his thoughts, just the information. She wanted the identity of this ‘Doctor’ more than anything, but would settle for further information of the building, even as her Psi Operatives took control of the upper floor. “Captain Kishimoto, my people will be keeping an eye on the horizon so that retaliation doesn’t fall upon us unexpected, but we should move quickly. My people will be taking these men into custody, but what information we find here will need to be shared.”

Pharil Modica

8/24 07:50PM

Kurai was scanning about, the General was interrogating- holy heck that was a freaky alien looking person! Said… the alien guy… but he looked very human, ok? And that Drake guy was here, Pharil hadn’t really been introduced to him yet! Pharil would remain on guard and follow Kurai, ready to protect his Kaptain from any kind of threat!

“Roger.” While Franziska was using her ability to rip the information of the building from the creatures very thoughts, Kurai would be doing the very thing through layers and layers of encryptions and sub-domains on the computer. She worked fast and hard against the keyboard, but with Athena’s help she did eventually liberate the fact that the power system travelled levels below this one. She didn’t even consider going through the vents really. In the meanwhile, Franziska would know that there was a large trap door in the back receiving bay that the ‘lowly’ humans didn’t know about. “Well damn, these assholes are underneath us too.” She looked towards Drake, towards Pharil; then brought up Wend on the comms. “Ideas? Besides the obvious of course.”

Gwendolyn N. Willows

8/24 08:02PM

There was a smirk on the woman’s face; this whole place was giving her deja vu.”Hey Kurai. Remember that training we did together after X23?” There was a pause as she assessed the location where she needed to gain access to the ducts. “I’ve got the vents this time if you want to send someone else to bust down the door.” Previously Wend was the one to blow the door down with shaped charges while the Crimson Captain dropped flash bangs and smoke granades down into a sealed room that held their objective. “Mind sending me someone to get the door for me?” Even as she spoke she was prepping to take down the screws on the faceplate of one of the intakes so she could shimmy her way to above the lab undetected thanks to the dampening effects of her armor.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 08:05PM

“Oh. Wesker.” Franziska took note of the roar, but didn’t feel very ‘warned’. Wesker would find a voice being projected right into his mind. “You may want to reconsider your alliances, sir. I suggest surrendering now rather than serving a lost cause. Or try to run or fight back. Either way, I suggest stopping the grand-standing act.” That was HER warning. As she found the location of the door in this alien being’s mind, however, she didn’t bother with much more, other than wanting to know how extensive this underground portion might be. “I’ll be notifying my forces that we may require more bodies in order to conduct a full search of whatever is beneath us. But, either way, let us continue.” Psi-Operatives did their part to remove the civilians and guards they’d neutralized or killed; the civilians were left unbound, but were all pulled to one side of the building, while the guards were either gathered in one spot, dead, or stabilized and bound by the hands and feet and pulled up to the roof for extraction.

Dir. Drake R. Barton

8/24 08:06PM

“I’ll take point. I’ll stay up front and take whatever initial blow which will allow you guys a chance to storm in and open fire.” He thought a moment and then an imaginary light bulb appeared over his head. He pointed his assault rifle down and out his other hand out palm up. The palm began to glow blue and materialized a vile of red liquid. “These. These are Pym Particles. They can make you very small, smaller than the size of an ant and you strength gets multiplied by 10. If anyone wants to use it. Sneak it, break some jaws. You know, the cool stuff.”

Sinh Marol

8/24 08:11PM

“God you people really ain’t quiet, you know that?” That’s all that escaped the room that was beyond the first lab door. And as if on cue, a fist was thrown directly for the lab door – not only taking the lab door off it’s hinges from the powerful strike, and sending it flying for the group, perhaps pummelling the hell out of anyone immediately in front of the door, but also sending out a shockwave out towards them. It looks like their mission wasn’t going to be nearly as simple as they might have wished, as beyond the lab door was the Crimson Mercenary. Why in the hell was he here? More importantly, why was he against them? Something to ask later, no doubt, as he cracked his neck idly and brought up his left hand, encased in a constantly moving swarm of fire, painted ever so slightly black within the centre from the cursed mark upon his left hand. The man lacked any armour, but they might be able to tell from a first glance that this wasn’t your regular armoured soldier. “Givin’ you lot a chance to piss off. It’s a good deal, as I’m feeling generous.”

Albert Wesker

Kurai recognized this man from the Red Sun the other day, but other than that had no idea what else he was about. The door smashed against her heavy armor and flipped over her, leaving her unaffected as she glared the man down. The directed energy weapon pointed at him as an auto-turret came up and over her shoulder, taking him into the crosshairs; ready to fire at a moments notice. She sent Wend a quick text \Go, now\

Better armored soldiers came up on Sinh’s flanked, bristling with an energy akin to blue wildfire. In their hands were definitely a better quality of weapons, these troopers a clear cut above anything they had seen to this point. Somewhere in space, the infamous Doctor watched this all with a scowl on his face. This. This he would remember.

“Hm.” Krieger’s head tilted to the side as she considered the figure standing in front of her. “Sinh Marol. Known mercenary. Active for quite a while, given our intel. Either way… You stand between me and justice.” Rather than wait for an answer, a telekinetic picked her up and carried her TOWARDS him, not away, crossing ” Her shining, ethereal blade was still in hand, and it was what took the first swing at him. “A poor decision.”

Wend cursed silently, as the door blew off the hinges. Not what she was expecting, but hey, it worked! Thank the stars she wasn’t standing in front of the door. Seeing that Pharil was serving as a distraction along with everyone else that was in line of sight for the mercenary, Wend got the go ahead from the Captain. Through the vents she crept, the tactical chameleon cloak nullifying her presence as she silently used the ventilation system to slip past Sinh and the flanking goon squad. Can’t say that she was disappointed in being able to slip past them. Something told her that the Phasic bullets wouldn’t be doing much damage to these guys.

Sinh Marol

8/24 08:29PM

Sinh observed those present. Only one familiar face, ultimately, that being Kurai – watched her weapons aim to him, and he noticed Pharil and Drake as well. At least he had some back-up. It’d make this a somewhat even fight – his left hand, still covered in flames, swung to the right – catching the incoming blade of the approaching General, despite it’s incorporeal state. Unlike his last few times in combat… he doesn’t seem to be in a very joking mood. Both of his eyes were, instead of their natural and perhaps less concerning viridian, a pure, flaming orange – with the sclera darkened, allowing them to stand out further, whilst his skin seemed to crack and smoke slowly flowed from the torn cheek. “Payment is payment, lady. I wasn’t aware of their operations… but I think it’s safe to say–” With a flicker of flame over his face, his grip on the ethereal blade tightened, and his right hand brought itself to his hip, drawing his own blade – a sabre, with an obsidian-black blade, cracked all over with magma seeping from the cracks. “–I’m not in the mood to have a payday ruined.” And, without further ado – granted he got the chance – he’d aim to throw Franziska by her blade, towards Kurai in particular, considering she had the biggest guns trained on him right now with that armour. The mercenary’s strength was monstrous, and his blood was already boiling for the fight ahead.

Though Sinh’s fingers tried to close around her blade, he’d find it about as easy as grabbing hold of air. Krieger’s face, hidden by the skull-like helmet, didn’t prevent the feeling that all of her attention was focused purely on him as she slashed at him with her blade of honed, concentrated, mental power. The edge was as thin as she wanted, and what she wanted was something that could slide between molecules themselves to rend matter apart at the absolute razor-thin level. At the same time an unseen force came up behind him and slammed into the back of his head with a heavy weight and force to it. Of course, it wasn’t really anything at all but the power of her mind.

Kurai didn’t want Franziska to be caught in the cross fire and knew the moment she or the crew fired, the other soldiers would fire in retaliation. She also didn’t want to trigger this man in case his fire exploded outwards or something. “Flank him!” The redhead ordered, seeing that the opening downwards to the labe were big enough to go around the mercenary. “Engage the enemy soldiers!” She say right after if they were able to make it around Sinh, keeping Franny out of the line of fire. At that point, the auto turret would spin up and start firing towards the back of his legs.

With the other guards taken care of, the remaining Psi-Operatives moved downstairs and towards the lab. But, rather than being constrained to going down the hallway the usual way.. “Engage” Came the voice of the doctor himself to Wesker and the team at the door. Who started to fire at Kurai and company! But instead of bullets, beams of lightning and explosive flechettes at the intruders! Streams of super excited atoms and small yield bombs propelled at rocket speeds. As the Psy-Ops ran across the ceiling, they would be met by mass effecting fields; grabbing them and lightening the masses as they were launched against nearby walls and against the floor.

Sinh Marol

8/24 08:53PM

There’s a look of brief surprise once the blade slipped through his fingers instead of being caught. This wasn’t the ethereal type of blade he knew, it seemed, this was something else entirely – and it briefly slashes past his good cheek as he moved his head just out of the way, his flesh visibly stitching itself together a moment afterwards – and brought his blade-clad hand over to his right and behind his head. This time, an aura formed over his mechanical right arm, forming what looked like a sort of hardened exoskeleton that managed to block the psychic power aiming for the back of his head, cracking the exoskeleton but managing to block the invisible force, thankful that he was using his Third Eye to sense such a force coming in at him. “…This is gonna be a real pain in the ass today.” The mercenary muttered to himself, hearing the barked out order of the Crimson Captain. The left hand that had slipped past the General’s blade swung backwards this time, and the fire around his hand exploded outwards – seeking to create a smoke screen whilst simultaneously sending a powerful combustion of flames at Franziska, with a tremendous amount of kinetic force for a simple flame burst. Hopefully that would keep her out of the mix for a moment, as he turned to Kurai. The auto turret hits his legs, ripping through them – but he swings his sword into the floor, using the force of it to send himself at Kurai whilst his legs visibly regenerated from scraps to completely new in no time, swinging his lava-seeping blade of obsidian down towards her armour with enough force to crack an Abrams in half.

Guided by the LodeStar AI of her suit, Wend was guided down to the far end of the lab some 30 meters beyond the door. The chaos of the firefight at the end of the room ensured that the XO was the best distraction she could have hoped for… and then all hell broke loose as the Psy Ops were starting to be tossed around like ragdolls. At the grate that covered the intake of the duct, Wend jolted slightly as one of the Ops guys was slammed close to where she was going to make her exit. ‘Fuck it…’ was the only thought as she kicked the grate away, making it look as if the impact of the OW soldier was what made it fall. Before leaving the vent, Wend appraised the situation when her eyes went to a workstation laiden with various chemicals. She couldn’t make out the names of all of them but what she could see she knew to be highly volatile and explosive. Wend typed out a brief message to Kurai on her omnitool, the message popping up on the Captain’s HUD. “Volatile chems at work station. Sure we don’t want to just waste these assholes?” Brash she knew, especially since intel was important, but dammit… all of this really pissed her off for some reason. Carefully moving out of the vent, the XO used her cloaked status to check the workstation for any lab notes at the workstation, either on a tablet, notepad, or audio recorder. If there was, she wanted to secure it before it got destroyed by either gunfire or actual fire.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 09:01PM

The quick explosion obscured her sight, but only her sight, and though it forced her back just a moment, Krieger’s sensed Sinh’s movement as he made it. Her hand stretched out, and she moved at full speed towards him, shoulder-first, aimed right at his body. A bubble of telekinetic force surrounded her as well and carried her along to aid in her endeavour to bulldoze over him or knock him away from Kurai. As for the Psi-Op soldiers? Their own fast reflexes allowed them to move past the tendrils Wesker sent out to them, and instead, as they passed them, they each took a swipe at them with their own psychic blades. With them, a massive wave of anxiety would rush towards Wesker and the other enemy soldiers. Running on the ceiling? Moving so fast? They just weren’t… natural, were they? Their minds worked to disturb and throw-off their opponents as they rushed in to stab into Wesker and cut the rest of them down, sending out unseen, imperceptible blows to their chest, their stomachs, all to bring the enemy down low.

Seeing the regeneration factor of Sinh, Kurai knew that she was going to have to escalate the situation; at least with him. The bullets quickly started to become bigger and faster, changing from phasic to armor piercing in a few rotations. Her communications were made from within her sealed helmet through the connected radio between her and her team, but the merc could have good enough hearing to listen to her. Soon the blade of his weapon smashed against her side; a ultraviolet hexagonal plane of light appearing between the slash and her armor; it’s spinning nature causing the physical object to deflect rather than trying to halt all its forward motion. The metal the armor was crafted off also absorbed heat and pressure, and converted it into energy; this wouldn’t be an easy fight no matter how Marol cut it. Especially when she replied with her directed energy weapon, firing invisible bursts of energy in concert with her spinning turret towards his midsection. She saw the message from Wend and replied quickly. “Negative. Recovery of information is the top priority.” Went into text to talk and shipped back to Wend. In the meanwhile Pharil and Drake, both NPC’ed, were firing against the soldiers while coordinating with OW to create overlapping fields of fire against the forces of the evil doctor. “Or flanking works.”

Dr. Mer’Dian ~[StoryDM]~

8/24 09:20PM

Wend scooting by pretty quietly and unknown to the sites security, the soldiers obviously dealing with the incursion at the door. With such close quarters it would limit the amount of firepower they could use. In the meanwhile there were the workers! Running around and destroying evidence while taking the secret exits as they tried to escape; some with product and others with technology. Probably meeting Olde Watch soldiers at every turn. Those defending Sinh definitely had their hands full enough that they couldn’t help the merc with the two people that were engaging him.

8/24 09:22PM

The blade deflected off, sending some magma to her armour but only to spot it being absorbed – that was no regular armour. Impressive, even. But, before he could remark on it or continue his assault – he took a burst of energy and turret fire to his chest and head – blowing his head to pieces, whilst turning his chest into a canoe with a few rounds before it was all topped off with the incoming shoulder-barge from Krieger, sending him flying into one of the nearby walls from the telekinetic barrier that surrounded her frame – but, it wasn’t even that long before he pried himself from the wall. The man’s wounds were regenerating again already, even fatal ones – but it was a slower process than last time. It was, no doubt, running out of charges to regenerate with – but that wasn’t going to stop him from getting his god damn payday, even if it meant a lot of collateral damage, as his left hand became consumed with a rather potent combination he loved to use, even if rarely done so. Fire consumed his arm, a darker tint from his cursed mark, and it was followed by lightning surrounding the hand – not regular lighting, mind. This one was consumed with a blackened hue, rather than your regular blue that the human eye would perceive – before he fired off the lightning bolt towards the duo, now that they were standing by one another, namely towards Franziska. And rather than directly impacting, upon closing in on them, it would suddenly burst out – and aim to arc around the two, forming a cage before closing in – an odd, burning cage of lightning, that’d send a nasty kinetic jolt and an even nastier burn, considering it peaked past the regular temperature of a lightning bolt, even going as far as to already burning and melting some of the objects it touched with an instant.

Lightning, even. Bah.*

Drake while, firing at soldiers, noticed some of the people trying to escape. A smirk fell on his face, “Athena. Get me the Marine Hammer Drones, I want them to surround the building. Nobody gets out but us and I need some of my Spec Ops operatives.” [Yes sir.] The drones rocketed down to the surface of the planet, as soon as they touched ground they began opening fire on all those who attempted escaping. A few more quinjets came from the sky also. Each holding ten heavily armored, specially trained, operatives, most with assault rifles. They stormed into Drake’s location and opened fire on the soldiers as well.

Cpt. Kurai Kishimoto

The Crimson Captain, now shoulder to shoulder with the General, saw Sinh going through some powering up as his fire turned darker. So she took one hand off of her weapon and quickly reached to one of the items and tossed it downwards! It quickly expanded into a 3 ½ foot tall, 5 foot wide semi-circular barrier of dark red hard light. The barrier was extremely resistant to kinetic and energy based attacks, but would only last a few moments as it provided temporary cover for Kurai and Franziska. She would use this to take cover from the incoming lightning! Bolstering her already impressive defense and giving her companion the same defensive option. Fortunately the turret on her shoulder was hands free and wouldn’t stop firing against the man; its created heat being shunted into the suit for recycled energy.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 09:36PM

Psi-Operatives closed around Wesker, and weren’t foolish about what they did next. They didn’t bother going for him physically. Instead, he found his mind under assault from not one mind, but three, all of them focusing their attention on him. They searched him as deeply as they could for whoever had recruited him on this plot. They wanted to strip him bare, lay all of his secrets of this situation before them, and they made sure that it hurt, too. If he could imagine pins and needles and drills stabbing into his scalp, into his skull, into his brain, then he’d feel it. They made sure to try and lock up his body as well, wrestling his instincts, that will to fight, that seemingly predatory nature, and tried to leave him trapped in his mind as they tore away all the secrets he had about this mysterious ‘Doctor’ and their work away from him. The other Psi-Operatives went about covering them and their efforts, dealing telekinetic blows, tanking and dodging through gunfire while they slashed with their psychic blades.

As for Franziska, with Kurai’s barrier coming up, she knew she only had a moment to take down Marol. He had magic, magic that she could either endure… or deal with now. The blade in her hand vanished… But would reform right by his chest with the intent to carve into his lungs. Starve him of air, slow down his movements. But, that wasn’t all. The blade? It had a twin, and that one came cleaving down on the arm he used to attack them, all while she pulled a pistol from her belt and aimed it at him. “You can either surrender, Mister Marol, and waive that ‘payday’… Or I will just have to put you down. This isn’t something worth fighting for.”

“It certainly isn’t worth dying for.”

Sinh Marol

8/24 09:42PM

Crimson seeped from his arm from his own attack, having burnt his arm to a crisp with the powerful attack – something the barrier would even have quite the trouble trying to keep at bay, but it had dissipated soon afterwards – a combination of fire came at him, causing grunts to escape him as they blew chunks out of his body – and he realised he ran out of regeneration just in time for Franziska’s twin blade – along with the other one that had cleaved into his lungs. Luckily, he had no need for air – but it didn’t stop the pain that came with it, and the twin blade came down into his arm – cutting it off entirely, his eyes widening as he slumped to the floor – onto one knee – his grip on his blade faltering and falling from his hand. Too much damage, all done way too fast. And he’d have to wait for his regeneration to recharge before he could consider any more action – his gaze lifted up, staring on over to Franziska, and he grit his teeth. “…Fuck.” Was all that escaped him. At the very least, he didn’t move to assault them further now. Even if he had plenty of energy in him, he knew it was a bad idea to continue a fight with his regeneration out of the picture. “Fine, fine. Fuck. You got me.”

Drake makes his gun disappear and he mounts his Shield to his arm. Walking up to the Captain and General. “Language.” He says to Sinh. Meanwhile, operatives are arresting people and immobilizing vehicles trying to get away, along with the help of the Hammer Drones.

Seeing the frantic workers trying to either destroy reports and notes or make off with product, the undetected Wend would do what she did best… and that was being a sneaky little bitch. You don’t grow up in the slums of Consequence without learning a few tricks! It’s a shame that some of the evidence just… vanished, causing the frantic minds of the lab workers to assume it was either already taken care of by coworkers. There was no time to type out a message to the captain. She would have to just act on instinct and hope for the best. The employees were slipping one by one into a tunnel to escape with their precious research. The woman assumed that the most pertinent information was being taken with the employees so that’s where her focus would go. Fingers flew over her omnitool as she called up HoB and rolled a modified flashbang down the hallway as one of the employees slipped through the door. She waited patiently out of the way for it to go off before following, not wanting the rapid shifting in light to make her location noticeable. It was her intention to incapacitate those who were fleeing by the secret tunnel and to stop them from leaving with such valuable intel. After it was safe to move down the hall, she would stalk her way down in an attempt to discovery where these people were fleeing.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 09:54PM

“Thank you.” Psi-Operatives approached Sinh from his left and right, roughly forcing him to the ground as they bound his legs together and his arms (or what was left of one of them) to his sides before they dragged him off to join the other pile of captured guards from before. They’d deal with him afterward. The other Psi-Operatives dealing with Wesker attempted to do the same with him as they tore the information out of his head… and sent it to the General. “Doctor Mer’Dian. A name.” Her attention went back to where Sinh and the other enemies had emerged, and in a rush of speed, she made her way there.

Dr. Mer’Dian ~[StoryDM]~

8/24 09:55PM

There was no reinforcements coming, their approach and retreat cut off by opposing forces. Seeing Sinh surrendering, the brainwash super soldiers knew that the time to go upon the great journey was close. Or atleast this was the lies programmed into their heads as the Doctor readied the kill-switch. It was…Regrettable losing his Persistence based location. With those running being captured and his years of research being stolen from right under his nose. Just like before, he would send a hardwired quantum signal to the location. Activating the kill switches on all indoctrinated personal and triggering the reactor in the bottom level of the building to go critical.

Sinh Marol

8/24 09:58PM

“Yeah, you think I don’t know that, you stupid f–” Before he could speak further, more Psi-Operatives were approaching – and he just gives them a glare as they try to force him to the ground – they succeed, even if it’s a task to move the man who’s physical strength surpassed what a mind could bolster, and he’s inevitably moved from his position over to the other captured guards, resting back with psionic bonds keeping his only arm restrained to his body. However, upon trying to pierce into his mind – the Psi Operatives might very well feel like their brains were set on fire as soon as they attempted such. Figuring it out early let Sinh do that sort of thing, crossing his left leg over his right as they tried to pierce his mind – only to end up feeling like they just opened up a cartridge of napalm onto their own minds. Even if they hadn’t gotten the backfire, they’d find it’d be the equivalent of breaking into a fortress with a pistol; nigh-impossible.

The Crimson Captain slapped her weapon against her magnetic chest plate and brought up her blue skinned omni-tool over her hand. With the turret still pointed downwards at Sinh, she typed very quickly to find the source of the signal and what it was doing. “Helix, track this signal, Alpha priority. Utilize all resources, Kilo Yankee Kill 11 o 9” Then she switched tracks. “XO, status report?” Helix confirmed the action and started the reverse trace. At the same time, Kurai looked up the building specs again; seeing where the signal was going. The people were obvious, kill switches were shown last time. But the reactor on the bottom floor lit up like a christmas tree. “Tactical, you’re up.” She knew that Athena was tracking the same information.

Dir. Drake R. Barton

8/24 10:05PM

Malicious signal?” Drake thought a moment and then it hit him, “I’ll take care of that.” He went into full sprint, which could be well over 200MPH. Vaulting over objects, breaking things with both his fists and shield. Successfully making it to the bottom level, “A bomb. If course it’s a bomb. Because blowing things up is definitely going to make people forget you were here.” Drake rolled his eyes as he yanked off the panel to reveal the wiring. He put his Shield on his back and pulled out his combat knife. Started cutting wires, from his memory of defusing bombs these would be the right one but who knows with the person who made this bomb did to it. He hoped he was doing the right thing.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 10:10PM

The Psi-Operatives actually hadn’t stopped scanning Wesker at all. They were being very thorough as they lifted him with their telekinesis to apply their bonds to him and then pull him away. Ships approached the building now, no longer cloaked, and began extracting both civilians and their captives, being careful with the former while the others were roughly shoved into single-person cells that kept them bound in an upright position as bars came down to prevent their escape. The General heard Kurai… and only frowned. And you couldn’t even see it, because of the skull helmet. “Okay. Pull back.” The General moved towards the exit. “I am going to estimate that the armed guards and soldiers are going to be dead in a matter of moments as well, if they aren’t already. Just piling up bodies during this, aren’t we…” She was… well. Pissed. Very, very, very pissed. “We’ll have to make due with what we have.”

Sinh Marol

8/24 10:13PM

Sinh stood – and made his way into one of the single-person cells rather than getting himself shoved into them – placing himself against the side of the cell, the psionic bond coming undone as the bars came down, placing the mechanical hand onto his belt. “The crazy bastard who hired me had a killswitch, huh…? Can’t say it ain’t smart.” Seems he was more than intent on talking during his current imprisonment, at the least, as he stared over the others on the other side of the bars – his left arm was, by now, slowly regenerating, along with the fist-sized holes in his stomach that had still remained from the turret earlier. Seems he’d have to see if he were allowed a call with his kind of treatment.

Wend muttered under her breath, as she heard the call for critical systems. She continued to follow the tunnel away from the main group, determined to trackdown the last of the employees that she could before the place blew. She couldn’t be as thorough when she wanted to when it came to making sure they weren’t getting out with anything, but she knew that the Psy Ops would give them all a once or even twice or thrice over before carting them off back to wherever they were headed.

Heading down one of the escape tunnels, Wend would notice that they went on for a few hundred feet. Lodestar would reference a satellite image to show that the exits came out into a lot in the forest; that empty out into a roadway that went straight for the shore. But OW, Shield Ops, and drones were making sure little to none actually escaped; which ended up being a useless gesture as the Doctor wasn’t afraid to throw away assets to deny his enemies. But when the Director found his way to the reactor; his AI would likely informed him of the difference. It was a race against the clock, as the count down was very short considering the way this…Alien thought. Seconds remained for Drake as he accessed the terminal, cut wires and made connections until it was time to flip a switch. Doing so would trigger an explosion, but not the grand one. He would hear a click as the reactor melted down rather than exploded, with the power of a few blocks of C4 rather than once big enough to clean up the building. Now there was just a problem of this thing slowly melting through the floor; spewing chemicals everywhere while leaving the upper floors intact.

Though like before, survivors had their brains liquidated by acid. Technology shorted out and weapons exploded violently.

With Drake’s super human hearing, he was able to hear the click just fine. Swiftly, he unmounted his Shield and put on his arm, pressed it close to his chest and covered his head as it exploded. This blasted him back and into a wall. “Ah god.” He slumped to the floor, trying to catch his breath, and is definitely in pain. The Director pushes through, wiping some blood from his mouth, “I can do this all day.” He saw the chemicals eating away at the floor, “Athena…,” he takes in a deep breath, “CG Drones. We need chemical stabilizers.” [On it, sir. Though next time, when I say Red, I mean Red.] “Yeah, yeah.” Coast Gaurd Hammer Drones came down from the sky and attempted making their way to Drake. If successful, they would spray a foamy base on it to stop the Chemicals from continuing doing their damage. Drake just sat there, against the wall, groaning.

Into his earpiece, “Hey Captain, I’m not dead. So I think we’re safe. I hurt but not dead.”

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 10:31PM

“I suggest we get out of here. What we can’t find here, we’ll find with the one behind all of this. I have a name. And soon, I’m going to have a location.” The raid wasn’t going to be a total loss this way. A name was better than nothing, even if their captives had now been turned into more dead weight for them to sort through and examine. Franziska was sure she’d only find more of the same from their analysis, but at the very least… this one operation in Persistence was shutdown. “Captain, call your people back and let us pull out.” The General stepped outside now, looking as her operatives prepared to leave. As they’d taken the building, they made sure to do a thorough scan.

Sinh Marol

8/24 10:33PM

At the very least, it seemed the self-destruct of the troops hadn’t been done to Sinh. After all, he was just a mercenary – paid to protect, rather than joining the operation entirely. For now, his curious, viridian hues scanned those still present, his right hand occasionally tapping against the bars to test them before looking past the bars once more. For now, his gaze was set onto Franziska and Kurai. Mostly, because they were the two offenders who had managed to damage something that mattered a bit more to him than his physical state. And that was his god-damn jacket, laying in tatters on his person, revealing his muscled form beneath the tattered and broken clothing. At least he wasn’t naked, but the tatters around his upper torso barely kept themselves together.

Kurai had turned on her heels and was ready to sprint out the door, but partway there she got the confirmation from Drake, then spread it around. “Team, the reactor has been defused. I repeat, the reactor has been defused.” Slowing down to a brisk walk, she agreed with the General. “Crew, let’s pull out and let Olde Watch clean up. Good job team. We learned a lot today. We’ll beam up to the Blade for a debrief.” With that, the Crimson Captain walked out of the building; satisfied that they put a stop to another one of the Doctor’s operations. She waited for her team to regroup. “General, whenever you’d like; you can come join. We definitely have much to discuss.” Then when the time came too, they all disappeared in a show of light.

Dir. Drake R. Barton

Except Drake. Drake and his Operatives left on their quinjets. The Hammer Drones followed behind the Operatives while Drake made his way to the Blade. Boarding and making his way to wherever everyone else is.

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 10:46PM

“It will be some time. I have things to go over.” Her eyes cut up to her ship, where she still had two conscious collaborators. Stepping inside, the ship would take off and head towards Olde Watch. “Sinh Marol. You have a choice. Either I am going to trust every word you say to me when I ask you how and why you were hired and what you know about the situation…” And her next words that followed sounded off in his ear as well as the inside of his skull at a VERY uncomfortable volume. “Or I am going to take those answers from you by FORCE.” As for Wesker, she spoke to him too, but only inside of his mind. “You lost the right to the sanctity of your own mind when you violated the rights of other people.”

Gwendolyn N. Willows

8/24 10:47PM

It was the best of a bad situation. While the kill switch prevented more people from escaping (good) that meant less info (bad). Well, at least this way she didn’t have to feel guilty about shooting people that weren’t actively trying to kill her. Wend sighed as she looked around the wooded area and down the road that lead to the shores of the island. Hearing the call from the Captain, Wend responded. “Aye, Captain. Make sure the General knows about the escape tunnel. It’s well concealed on this end. At leat now we have some idea of what we are searching for. Meet ya on the blade.” After beaming up to the Blade, the woman deactivated the Tac Cloak and sighed as she put her weapons away in the armory. It seemed like the little planet side adventure with rather inquisitive Comms Officer would have to wait until after the debriefing. Besides, she needed to give all the info she recovered to the captain and Franziska. She wasn’t sure what all was included in it, but it was better than nothing.

Sinh Marol

8/24 10:49PM

The uncomfortable volume from the General using her mind to effectively shout down his ear– and into his skull, just earned a grunt as he moved his left hand over his head. “I get it, you want me to tell you things; no need to be a bitch about it… though, you’ll have a fun time trying to get them out of me by force. Trust me, I’ve seen your type before.” It seemed he was confident in that field – psionics were powerful, but thankfully when it came to resistances against direct assaults to his mind, there weren’t many people that could resist more than Sinh. However, maybe he’d finally met his match in this regard. “Get me a phone call, and I’ll tell you what I know. Deal?”

Albert Wesker

8/24 10:58PM

– Wesker growls under his breath then hears Sinh.- ” All you Mercs are the same disloyal fucks.” – Wesker says at Sinh.-

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 11:02PM

“You make the mistake of thinking that you actually fall under some kind of manner of law enforcement, Mister Marol.” Krieger remained locked on him. “I understand you’ve seen my ‘type’ before, Mister Marol, but understand this in return. I’ve seen your type as well.” She aimed her gun at him again. “I am thoroughly prepared to do things to you that my allies will not appreciate. Things that would make them think lesser of me than they probably do already. And I will not care about that at all. You are not going to get a phone call. We are going to go back to Olde Watch, and you are going to tell me what you know. There is no deal.” The Psi-Operatives keeping Wesker under relented just enough to allow him to be conscious for the time-being, but kept him safely restrained by telekinesis as well. “And you, sir. There is no deal for you at all. You are simply my prisoner until further notice.”

Sinh Marol

8/24 11:07PM

“..I’ve seen the ‘militaristic leader who threatens inhumane things’ type, too, and trust me when I say you’re not going to scare me into giving away information. I’m asking one simple thing – and if you don’t want to oblige, well. I guess all I know is something you can crack out forcefully. And by the time you actually get in, well, I’m sure Doctor Mer’dian, or whatever the hell his name was again, will have already finished up whatever the hell he hired me for.” At least he seemed to know something, considering he had the name down for the most part. But, there was a look of serious disdain on his face for the General after their display of ‘authority’. “Make the simple deal to let me call my friend, and I tell you all you want. Or, you have a very angry, ninety-eight millenium old mercenary in your base… who doesn’t find your little pea-shooter as scary as you might think.”

“Hell, you can even stand next to me whilst I make the call if you want.”

“Would that make you happy, Officer?”

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 11:11PM

“General Franziska Wilhelmina Krieger, Mister Marol. Not ‘Officer’. You will not end up in a base, Mister Marol. You will be held at a black site, in a cage, with ANFE waves crashing over your body to prevent any of your tricks. You will be sedated, you will have a team of my Psi-Operatives tearing away at your mind for months, even after we’ve resolved the situation without your help. And you will not go free.” Krieger’s skull-faced helmet opened to show her dark gaze, with eyes like grey, dull metal. “You are going to assist in this, and we won’t have to let you call anyone. I will simply let you walk right out of here.”

Albert Wesker

8/24 11:12PM

– Wesker sighs a growl –

Sinh Marol

8/24 11:17PM

“ANFE, I’m guessing that’s something I should be concerned about but I can have my abilities rely on my physical state, and you’d be surprised how difficult it is to sedate me.” By now, his right hand gripped onto the metal bar, but didn’t attempt to try and pry it open or anything. Though, his own, dull gaze stared into her own – he seemed to be anything but amused with the General. “You pass me a call, we don’t even need to head to one of your black sites, you get information on Doctor Mer’Dian, we can have this information gathering session done before we even get off this ship. That sounds more than reasonable, and more -convenient-, for the both of us.” It was hard to tell if he were bluffing with his threats of his abilities having alternatives to ANFE, or sedation, or if he were completely serious – considering he could regenerate from fatal wounds, and his mind was heavily protected, it might not be a far stretch. “Now, are you going to continue throwing threats when I’m just asking for a simple phone call… or are you going to pass me a phone, Miss Krieger?”

Albert Wesker

8/24 11:19PM

” And what are you going to do with me?” -Weskers asks.-

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 11:24PM

“No. I’ll just divert us to a black site now.” The General nodded towards one of the Psi-Operatives, who walked off towards the cockpit of the ship. “There is something that I do not enjoy. And I am sure you are going to label it as ‘bitchy’, Mister Marol, even though you just did it yourself… But I do not appreciate when people underestimate me. A quality most people who know what they are actually capable of share. I understand if you feel that not listening to me will pay out in your favor, and maybe you think that you can outwit me, or that you are stronger than what I can do to you. Understand that I feel the same way.” Crossing her hands behind her back, the General nodded. “It is easier, I think, to obey and follow an order than to guess if you can manage to get around said orders, especially in a situation like this. Either you cooperate, you aren’t harmed, and you’re released within the hour, or you hold out on me, we do what we have to, you try to fight back, we hurt you, you hurt us, and then you’ll be marked as an enemy of Olde Watch, a collaborator of Dr. Mer’Dian, a person that aimed to poison and kill countless innocents in the city of Persistence, kidnapped women to use them to produce more soldiers…” She smirked, but there was no humor. “Do you see what I mean? You are either going to cooperate, or you will be treated as a terrorist and an enemy of Persistence, Olde Watch, and possibly, the rest of Hellifyno. And the thing is, Mister Marol? I don’t think you are a terrorist. Or the enemy. Which is why I’m offering you the chance to prove it. Prove it.”

“Wesker, you are going to be imprisoned and interrogated more thoroughly at a later time. Your cooperation isn’t required.”

Sinh Marol

8/24 11:31PM

It seemed they were both stubborn. Staring past her at the psi-operative, and then back to her, his gaze remained locked hard onto her for now. All he wanted was a damn phone call – but it seemed in return, all she wanted was information. “…I’ve never worked well with military types. So maybe you can understand why I don’t like being denied a simple phone call.” Maybe that was why he always stayed as a mercenary type over a military type. Rank and file, following orders – it had never been his style. It was probably also why he had a track record that always had him completing operations and contracts by himself. Maybe if he was by himself, this entire situation would’ve been a different story – but, instead, he was placed in some facility with soldiers who were brainwashed. Brainwashed often meant a lack of accuracy and tactics, as displayed today. “Fine. You win… the sooner this is done, the sooner I go see who I was going to call, then.” With that, he slumped himself back against the wall of the single-person cell, his feet pressing up to the bars as he remained pretty much with his back to the wall, relaxing as much as he could for the adventure. “…and for the love, of -fucking god-, stop calling me ‘Mister Marol’, and just call me Sinh. No formalities, even if you’re the living, walking definition of ‘military doctrine’. It’s painful.” That last part sounded even more tired than usual.

Albert Wesker

8/24 11:32PM

Gen. Franziska Krieger, Olde Watch

8/24 11:47PM

“As I said, you aren’t in a position to make deals… Mister Marol.” Franziska grinned now. A grin of victory. Silently, she gave the order to correct course back towards Olde Watch, and when she landed, she’d deal with her prisoners exactly as she said she would. Wesker would be taken to holding cells, and Sinh would be taken away to be questioned, and then released.

Sinh Marol

8/24 11:48PM

At least the process of questioning was quick… though, several times during his questioning, he’d mutter something about ‘don’t call me mister’. Soon enough, though, they’d have the mouthy Crimson Mercenary out of their hands; where was he off to? It was hard to tell, but he was gone almost as fast as he had arrived to their battle.
